IPv6 and IPV4 aid
Hello everyone,
I use a MacBook Pro 15 of retina in 2013. My ISP provides IPV6 connectivity yet, so I created a help service of Hurricane Electric IPV6 tunnel. I created a raspberry Pi to give IPV6 addresses on my subnet and everything works as expected. I have IPV6 connectivity on my MacBook and I can browse IPV6 sites. I did a test on http://ipv6-test.com . The results are positive, but he said that my browser (latest version of Google Chrome, but the problem is too much on Safari and Firefox) is not compatibility help. If I try the test again on Windows, Android, ecc. the warning message disappears.
The problem is that I can't browse websites using my MacBook. For example, the Apple site has not been appearing: I ran wireshark and Chrome was trying to load everything using IPV6, without success. Also try to access https://eolo.it/ (my ISP site) generates errors: it does not always work on my MacBook, while open it under Windows and IPV6 has no problem at all. "limited access" means that your computer does not get an IP address from the router. This means usually a bad network password is stored in the PC and the router is rejected.
To diagnose the problem, try to connect your computer to another network. If it works, then you know that it is specific to your network. If it isn't, which would indicate a problem with installing wireless in your laptop. Try to remove and install the latest driver wireless.

IPv6 and AirPort Extreme Gen 5 connection drops
My ISP is over native IPv6 but the AirPort Extreme (AE) abandons the connection every 30 minutes or more.
I've tried different settings IPv6 and the only one that gave stable results is to:
-Block all the incoming IPv6
-Allow teredo and IPSec tunnels
-IPv6 tunnel fashion game
If IPv6 is set to native, airport utility shows the Internet connection disabled. So far with the tunnel mode, it seems to work. IPv6 - test.com results show 6to4 good feature as well.
Someone else had problems with the products of the AE and IPv6 settings?

We are preparing for a migration to IPv6, and I'll try to find if there is an OS ASA recommended by Cisco for IPv6 support. My firewall is currently version 7.2 (3). I know that this version contains IPv6 commands, but I want to make sure that it supports everything that I need.

The latest version of the SAA has more supports IPv6.

IPv6 on IPv4 VTI ipsec traffic

I have a VTI ipsec on ipv4 I use for LAN traffic between sites.
Something like:

Now I want to tunnel IPv6 on those as well.
I tried the simple addition of an IPv6 on Tunnel0 address, but that did not work.
I can create a tunnel on the IPv4 link like this:

tunnel destination 172.16.1.2
ipv6ip tunnel mode
enable IPv6
3000::1/112 IPv6 address
But I was wondering if there was another solution?

I don't think you can carry IPv6 on IPv4 ASIT.
I believe that you have received a message that's not supported - negotiated proposals are explicitly for IPv4:
local ident (addr/mask/prot/port): (0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0/0/0)
remote ident (addr/mask/prot/port): (0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0/0/0)
There is a tunnel mode ipsec, ipv6, BUT it is ipv6 via IPv6 only.
I think that your best choice is to run o IPsec instead of ASIT GRE if you want IPv6 tunnel at the same time.
(Please note that I have not kept up-to-date with all the improvements of VTI recently, maybe things have changed)

TIVO requires certain ports to be unblocked. So I try to add the ports requiring TIVO. But when you try to add the default Type of firewall IPv6 Port Mapping ports and I can't change the value of the IPv4 Port Mapping because the input field is grayed out and no is not accessible. With Port IPv6 mapping I enter values in all areas except for the IPv6 address because I do not know what value to enter. I think the button 'save' ' is not available to hit because the IPv6 address field is empty or not valid. Note: my router Mode is ' Off (Bridge Mode). Same questions if my router DHCP Mode.
I changed my router Mode DHCP and NAT, then on the Type of firewall on the default page add ports, IPv4 Port Mapping and I could add ports but with this setting, I couldn't connect to internet in my Airport Extreme: my status remains orange light flashing.
I use Comcast and my Airport Extreme is connected to my Comcast router using ethernet.
I use my Airport Extreme as a router (wired and WIRELESS) and as a backup device.
My TIVO is connected to my Airport Extreme using ethernet.
How can I add the Ports requiring TIVO.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what you're trying to do.
You have three options:
(1) run the Comcast router "as what" and configure the port on the device of Comcast mapping... .the airPort Extreme must be configured in Bridge Mode when you do this.
(2) lance to the AirPort Extreme router Mode of DHCP and NAT and configure the ports on the airport map... the peripheral Comcast must be configured to operate as a simple modem in Bridge Mode when you do this.
(3) lance to the AirPort Extreme router Mode of DHCP and NAT and configure the ports on the airport map... swap Comcast modem/router you have now for a simple modem (it will have only a single Ethernet port).
In other words, either the Comcast is defined as the router and AirPort Extreme is in Bridge Mode... or... the AiPort Extreme is configured as a router and Comcast must be configured in Bridge Mode.
If you choose Option 1, then we can not help you on a matter of Comcast router. In bridged Mode, the AirPort Extreme requires no configuration.
If you choose Option 2 or Option 3, then we the following port values that the Tivo device needs:
Public or UDP ports
Public TCP
UDP private
Private TCP
In addition, you need to find the MAC address for the TIVO. It is a long code that looks something like this, for example:
A1: B2: C3: D4: E5: F6

I have three computers with Windows 7 Home Premium installed recently and works well. I want to create a homegroup. When I try to join one of the computers to an existing homegroup, I get the message "your network must have IPv6 enabled connection". I have tried the stop and restart, TCP/IPv6, but I can't the homegroup to work. I cut off all firewalls. How can I verify that TCP/IPv6 works, and how I can fix this problem if it is not.
The homegroup on two other computers worked without any problems. All are connected by ethernet cable to a Verizon FiOs router. The computer problem has no other problem of connectivity - internet and e-mail work correctly. I also see the computer of 'bad' on the map of the network on the part of others.

I would like to explain that IPv6 has been dependent on the NPRI (redundant network routing protocol) service. To resolve this problem, we will see the following steps.

4. check if the "DisabledComponents" registry key exists. If so, move on the next steps.
5. double-click "DisabledComponents" registry key and change the value to 0.
(If the key does not exist, please create the above key and assign the value 0)
6. exit the registry editor and then restart the computer.

IPv6 is a good response to massive infrastructure VDI with frequent updating, recompose, etc...
I mean, can we use a complete solution of IPv6 including?
- Connection brokers
- View customer (Zero customer)
- View agent (Windows 7)
I know that with Teradici 3.5 firmware, IPv6 is supported on the zero client, and of course on Windows 7 this is also the case.

Why not update manually? If you do it this way, the profile is not in use when the update takes place, so nothing in it should be corrupted.
