I don't understand what causes this because it happens about 4 times by an hour, completely random sequence.   No do not trust them - it's a widespread scam underway.  They want to ask you to install support software (usually decent software, like Team Viewer, that legitimate companies use to provide assistance), but then they use it to implant viruses. Or, more often, they open an arbitrary log file, claim this means that you have a virus, and they will help you conveniently 'fix' for a fair cost.

  When you import, uncheck "do not import suspected duplicates."

  as others here have pointed out, its possible for some projects, but some media and will require a more powerful system.  This reference is comparing against intel cpu for 3 generations/models, and AMD are close to i5 General benchmarks.

  First and almost all adobe applications are mainly based cpu, and with 4 k mount taking off, fast processor is recommended. Since amd has currently no similar making the CPU to the high-end intel, intel is recommended as the only option. even intel i5 and i7 entry level are not recommended... at a time when amd releases zen, his speed of large improvements will be minor compared to the range of intel, and it can be locked at the same place as the bulldozers are now.   Yes, usable only between the same dynamic link versions products. You can complete rditing and export a first Pro CC and take it to After Effects for further editing, but dynamic linking is not possible in this case.

  I have to say that, based on the Australian for Premiere Pro CS6 price, I would be terribly tempted by a subscription to all the creative cloud - with access to things like After Effects, Photoshop, hearing, etc. increases the ability of Premiere Pro... but that's just me as a user who has been shocked by the price of stand-alone CS6.
