Is it possible to add a description for each slide in the slide show as a slide to separate before each photo?

I am trying to create a descriptive slideshow with explanatory text before each slide.

Can you suggest the smart way to do it quickly?

Hi graceplight,

It is not possible to add descriptions to individual slides in Lightroom.

Please take a look at the article, it may be useful: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/playing-exporting-slide-shows.html

Please let us know if it helps.

Kind regards

Tanuj Sandal

  • Is it possible to customize your comments for each incorrect answer in the quiz review?

    Hello

    When a quiz-taker selects 'review' and goes through each question quiz to examine what her answer was and what was the correct answer, is it possible to customize it? For example, assume that the person breached a certain question. The standard feedback says something like "you answered C. "The correct answer is B. Is there a way to give feedback like this: "you answered C. "It is false because the acceleration increases when net force increases. The correct answer is B. In other words, I mean the lessee quiz WHY their wrong answer was wrong. Is this possible?

    Thanks a lot for your suggestions!

    It is not possible to customize the text in the area of study with the current features of Captivate.  Your best approach at this time seems to be adding all this information explanatory in the legends of success and failure so that the learner gets to the place where they made the mistake.  In this way, even if they do NOT want quiz of reviews, you already told them why they got wrong.

  • I want different titles for each photo in a web gallery. The help file says:

    To display a different caption or title for each photo, click on the menu of settings customized to the right of title or a legend and choose Edit. In the model text editor that appears, insert the piece of metadata, IPTC title or caption, and click done.

    But what I do, the latest edition is for every picture the same.

    I have to select the image in a different way, I've already tried?

    Has chosen not to change, choose TITLE and LEGEND in the drop-down list.

    Then change the TITLE and CAPTION for each photo in the library/metadata Panel

    Then, each photo will be another caption/title

    Accordion Panel tabs should, with click and open the container.

    Please provide the url of the site where it does not, also if you can provide an example where we can see the exact action, then it would help us.

  • Web Gallery - different caption for each photo - broken?

    It's something I've done successfully with versions before LR2.5 but for some reason that I cannot now create different captions for each photo.  The help page in line said: "to display a different caption or title for each photo, click on the menu of settings customized to the right of title or a legend and choose Edit. In the patterns of text editor that appears, insert the IPTC title or caption metadata element, and then click Done. »

    This does not happen.  If I create a title for the first photo, it appears for all others.  If I change the caption for the second picture, everything changes, including the first caption of the photo.  Is this a new bug, or am I just missing something?

    I can always change the HTML gallery, but it is not an elegant solution, to say the least.

    Help appreciated.

    DN

    Enter the title or caption in the library, in the metadata Panel. And select the items in the grid. The titles that you change apply to the web gallery, not the individual photos.

  • People who consult a shared album in iCloud cannot see the detailed description that I entered for each photo.  Is it possible to solve?

    I created an album shared in iCloud and populated with photos after I had entered to be detailed for each of them.  My guests of the shared album can't see data description.  I can see it only when I use the Photos on a Mac app and do not see it if I use an iPad or an iPhone.  Am I missing something?

    No, unfortunately not - it is impossible to share the descriptions and titles.

    Metadata (descriptions, titles, locations, faces) will be removed from your photos when share you them in a shared album.

    If you want your friends to be able to see a legend, add a comment when you share pictures.

  • How to add vertical gripper for each TableRow in a TableView?

    I am looking for a better approach / best practices to accomplish this task. I need to be able to implement, for the less resizable (sliding on a dividing line) TableRow. I understand that this is a little more difficult to maintain the height of each individual TableRow because they are virtual and reused. My first goal is to have all TableRow resized (eliminating the need for individual line sizes).

    I am able to set up my own TableRow expanding TableRow - and I managed to retrieve a reference to the skin of the TableRow and adding a line of separation (Rectangle) and capture mouse events to effectively resize the row height by dragging.

    My Question is this: without implementing a new TableRowSkin - how can I force the line of separation at the bottom of the TableRow? Currently - I just added the node Rectangle (divider) to the list of children of the TableRowSkin - causing the dividing line be positioned on top of TableRow (which gives a vibe when resizing - the line should be on the bottom).

    I feel I'm hacking at the question without being aware of the intention of the JavaFX developers. The intention of the row height resizes to be implemented by providing a new skin? It doesn't seem to be an easy way to accomplish this task using the existing TableRow or TableRowSkin.

    I can post the code if requested example - but I'll need to condense the example of a small enough standalone file.

    If the answer is Yes - "put in place a new skin" that's fine, but this task can be difficult without the source code of advice :) [Tip... Tip..]

    Hi jkaufmann,

    If you want to add the vertical panel resizable on every row then you need to implement the cellFactory() for each cell in columns.

    There are a few steps that makes this possible:

    D ' apply the cellFactory for all columns. You can addListener for the ObservableList of TableView.getColumns ().
    -Add resizable Panel either rectangle or someone you like then check setCursor (Cursor.V_RESIZE) for this Panel. To make the rectangle/node always thoroughly and then use BorderPane layout
    -Now add a few events on Rectangle/node
    -create two variables: start, end
    -setMouseClicked (help to set the starting value: position of y)
    -setMouseDragged (change the cell height according to the change in y ie. end-start.) And also update the end value according to the current position of y)
    -setMouseReleased (Finally, reset to 0 for the start and end value)

    -Now add a few lines and test them. It works smoothly

    Hope this will give you some tips

    Thank you.

  • Is is possible to insert more time for a publication at the beginning?

    Of course, I know how to add time to the computer then move at all during this time. It's logical. But I was wondering if it is possible to insert a said amount of time on the first image, pushing the existing images at the end of the inserted. Could be a time saver for me.

    Simply set the time of the model, then use scripts as rd Shifter to compensate for all your layers of a given amount. I don't know if we looked through AEnhancers.com and sites related to could also find a smartified version that combines the steps al lthe.

    Using the function of the news of the scrap and build your news with the web application instead.

    You can have multiple views of different lists, you can have a custom field multiline text box short introduction, title, date of the course and your image. With this, you can retrieve the value only of an image with the _value option in the image tag.

    You can then thumbnails of BC have only one large image and then small image from your listing.

    You have the detail view friendly of complete SEO for the web application as well as for the full article.

    You can do a lot, it's just how you feel you want and what you do with the installation and layout of it. Much better than the news Module

  • Slideshow of issues with a variable time for each photo

    Hi all

    I migrated from AS1 to AS3 and the boy, a lot has changed...

    In any case, to learn and understand AS3, I'm editing a slide show that I found through thetechlabs. I want to play SWF and JPG. These files are transmitted via an XML file. I added an element called < delaytime > in the XML file, which replaces the time that a photo is displayed in the slide show.

    I changed the function onSlideFadeIn() as follows:

    function onSlideFadeIn():void {
         slideTimer.removeEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, nextSlide);
         slideTimer = new Timer(xmlSlideshow..file[intCurrentSlide].@time);
         slideTimer.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, nextSlide);
         if(bolPlaying && !slideTimer.running)
         slideTimer.start();
    }

    However, when I run it, I get this error message:

    ## [Tweener] Error: [object Sprite] raised an error while executing the 'onComplete'handler.
    TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.
    at slideshow_fla::MainTimeline/onSlideFadeIn()
    at Function/http://adobe.com/AS3/2006/builtin::apply()
    at caurina.transitions::Tweener$/::updateTweenByIndex()
    at caurina.transitions::Tweener$/::updateTweens()
    at caurina.transitions::Tweener$/onEnterFrame()

    It stops at the first photo of my slide show. When I push the 'next' button, it displays the next picture, but I get the same error message again.

    When I comment out this line:

    slideTimer = new Timer(xmlSlideshow..file[intCurrentSlide].@time);

    the slideshow works OK, but without the delaytime specified in the XML file.

    I'm lost here, what am I missing?

    Any help to get back on track is much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance, broadband

    Dirk

    almost everything is possible.  There is no way to tell without looking at your xml file.

    Create a new fla, load your xml and make great use of the trace function to see what you do.

  • Adding Descriptions to each photo in the Web Gallery

    I'm looking for an easy way (or easier, given my current method) of creating a web gallery in lightroom, that gives me the ability to add descriptions of individual pictures.

    What I've done so far is limit myself to only galleries that separate the 'big' photos in their own folder of the 'small' or 'thumb' photos. Small or pictures of thumb are those used for navigation. When one is selected, the large photo will appear. I was generating galleries with Lightroom, opening the great repertoire, and then by opening each one great picture in Photoshop. Can I extend the canvas in the same direction for each picture and write the description next to the photo and save it. In this way, when you open the Gallery, thumbnails of all watch them as they would normally, but when you click it, you are greeted with a large image and a description.

    This process is long, boring and thoroughly annoying. I did it for about 200 photos to date. The end result looks very good, but my research with Lightroom allow me to add visible descriptions has turned up nothing. Is there a model, engine or anything else that will allow me to display images with text next to it?

    Have not looked at the Image Info in Web Panel? You enter legends in the library panel metadata and then say Web to display.

  • How do you keep Gallery Windows to create individual folders for each photo?

    I have to use Windows Gallery to scan all my photos because HP does not have a driver for my printer to Windows Vista support. My printer will print, just not scan or copy.  The problem I have is that whenever I scan a photo gallery Windows will create an individual file for each individual photo. I am in a position to specify which folder I want all my photos go in, but to instead of the Windows gallery just the photo in the folder, I have created, it will also create its own individual folder first with the picture in it and put the file in its entirety within the folder that I created.

    Maybe this will clear what I'm trying to explain - example:
    (1) I create a folder named "Christmas 2009".
    (2) I scan 1 Joey with Gallery Windows.
    (3) once Joey 1 is scanned, a window will appear and ask me if I want to name the picture. I type the name of Joey 1 and specify the option to 1 Joey in the folder, "Christmas 2009".
    (4) Gallery Windows puts 1 Joey in 'Christmas 2009' but at the same time also creates a folder named Joey 1 with Joey 1 photo in this folder.
    (5) now I have a folder named Joey with a picture of Joey 1 1 1 Joey folder. And Joey 1 folder is placed inside the folder "Christmas 2009".
    (6) then I scan another photo of Joey, which I will not name Joey 2 and also specify 'Christmas 2009' for this photo. Windows Gallery puts 2 Joey in a folder created and named, 'Joey 2' and then puts this folder also in the "Christmas 2009" folder. "
    (7) now inside my folder "Christmas 2009" I have now 2 individual records with each of these images that I named above.
    (8) this continues with each photo I scan. After a while I could have 15 images inside "Christmas 2009" but each of these 15 photos are inside its own individual folder within the "Christmas 2009".»
    (10) I don't want 15 individual folders inside "Christmas 2009", I want only the images in the folder I created. But in order to have just the photos, I have to move each photo, one at a time, out of the personal file, in that it is, then move it by itself in the folder "Christmas 2009".
    (11) and then after I moved the picture of his personal file, I remove the individual folder because now the photo is no longer in it and the file is now empty.

    So next time, I went to the options and disabled everything that had to do with tags, (hoping that was the problem), but when I scanned another photo after doing this, instead of the Windows Gallery, create a folder with the name of the photo inside, he instead just create a folder named by the date that I scanned the photo. So I still have individual folders with the photo inside within "Christmas 2009", but now the individual file is just rediscovered: the date at which the photo was scanned.

    It drives me crazy. I've also posted this problem on some of my other tech forums, but nobody else seems to have this problem when scanning with the Gallery Windows. In my view, it will do with my settings but nothing change in the settings seem to have an effect on this problem. I have Windows Vista Premium, don't know not weather has nothing to do with him or not.
    Thank you

    If you want the same old basis like photo gallery interface I suggest this version,

    http://explore.live.com/Windows-Live-Essentials-XP

    It works fine with vista or win - 7 and the only features it lack is fuse photo, but the toolbar is exactly the same.

    You will need to take a class to figure out this version,

    http://explore.live.com/Windows-Live-Essentials?OS=other

    And is probably the one which is the upgrade that you're talking about, but it is allot more complicated to use and has more errors associated with it.
