  I don't think that there is an API for this for 4.5 and below. Your Pearl 8100 with OS 4.5 can display the icon notification such as incoming messages and calls because they were developed using the internal API of RIM which are not exposed to third-party developers.

  We thank very you much. I found the ApplicationIndicator class in the SDK of 4.6. However, I am currently a development with the BlackBerry Curve, so I guess I can't use since curve has only 4.2.2 API.

  BTW, where can I find a list of devices BlackBerry supporting SDK 4.6 and higher? I will ask my manager in order to buy one of these and try it. Thanks again,

  When I got to my laptop, I have to click on the battary icon in the status bar, and it would give me an estimate of the time remaining, as well as the percentage.  Since then, I had to reinstall windows 8.1 and no longer have the estimated time remaining on battery, just the percentage.  I have installed all the latest drivers on the support site and everything works well except that.

  I tried all versions of the BIOS available on the support site and reinstalled several times.  I also tried running a battery check that came back fine.

  Any idea on how to solve this problem?

  Remaining battery life information has been removed from the BIOS F.11.

  The time estimator estimated battery basically looking at what you have now and give a time remaining. It was common for playback from 8 hours to 16 hours in a few minutes. This can cause confusion for the customer more that it solves.

  The trend of mobile devices intended last day is try not to estimate the battery life. By example, iPhones, iPads, Android phones, tablets, etc all do not try to estimate. They can give an overview of your past use, but they do not attempt the future of the project.

  I made sure this computer is up to date on updates, but I still do not have the win10 icon in the system tray.  The Microsoft site says that if all updates have been installed, either my Win 7 OS is not genuine or my hardware is not compatible with Win10.  My Pavilion laptop had the icon above for weeks, but it is prohibited for the office.

  2. Are you referring to any copy of the software Norton icon in the system tray?

  If this is the case then I suggest get you in touch with Norton support team for help. However, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the software Norton completely from the computer and check if that helps. You can use the uninstall utility to do the same thing.

  Make sure that have the backup of the previous software uninstall Norton.

  I also suggest you to give us sufficient information on this issue so that we can understand the problem and help you accordingly.
