  You talk about the tab order? If Yes, go to Edit - Preferences - forms and make sure the box "Automatically adjust tab order when changing fields" is NOT checked.

  Like Ann, I don't remember when the conduct to the predefined portrait/animations have been added to the titration module.

  Although my PrPro has them, I rarely use them, and simply do as Ann suggests - animate my titles with the fixed effect > Motion > Position and animate Position keyframe. This allows much more freedom and control. You can change the speed at any point (s) and can even stop the animation if you wish.

  You can set the form field to be "Visible but does not print ' rather than 'Visible '. It is much easier than the script.

  So let's say that you have called Item1, Item2, Item3, and discount fields and you want to add the first 3 and then subtract the fourth total (sub).

  You can use the simplified field Notation on the calculation of your total field tab and enter the following in it:

  If the field names are more complex then a custom calculation script may be used instead:

  So now, I have a slide with several slidelets "pop-up". Finally I intend to add human speech at each of these slidelets (under the tab Audio caption text), but at the moment (for demonstration purposes), I would like to use the text-to-speech (TTS).

  The only type of TTS option that seems to be allowed is at the level of the slide, but not inside a text caption... This seems odd.

  Speaking of weird, speech management feature and Audio seem all too weird or very limited features. The management of the speech seems to only read the text inserted by entering the slide. No other options are available.

  I know that I could save the speech as individual wave files and insert them through the Audio tab, but... It then, I thought that it would be an easier way to use the TTS in Captivate 4.

  Can I buy a clue?

  TTS works at the level of the slide. Best bet is to insert a blank slide. Add notes. Convert to speech. Then, find and rename the file to preserve you. Rinse and repeat as needed until all TTS was created. Now, they should be in the library where you can freely assign them to everything that you need.

  You have some very good instincts!
  I think you could do this as a CONNECT BY query, but I don't think it would be any easier or more effective. It is good to keep CONNECT BY in mind and recognize that CONNECT BY is a possible solution for this kind of problem.
  Of course, this looks like a problem DENSE_RANK. That's what I have trid first, but I couldn't find a solution more simple than the one above.

  If you are using Oracle 8.1, it is very important. You must mention your version in the message body and not just hope that someone notice "8i" in the line object or tags.
