  I know how to change the icons, I've done before on Yosemite. But now, some applications (System preferences, Preview) do not change their icons. I receive the "the operation cannot be completed because you do not have the permission" "message. And I can't change the settings to 'read' because, again, it gives me the "...". you don't have the necessary permissions.

  I tried to repair the disk, changing the words of past, but restoring the computer to the factory settings. And I can't do that because I have nothing to back up my information. I'm fine with leaving the icons as it is, but I would still like to solve the problem, whatever it is.

  To change it, I think you do a right-click on the dvd drive and go to the tab (im not an atm computer) in the region.

  To my knowledge, this icon is from the Microsoft HTML Help Viewer application. It is not anyway I never knew of the change. Heck, even within the Microsoft HTML Help file when you present the CHM, you have two custom buttons that you can activate. And you cannot customize even those.

  I used the default settings which, among other things, do not allow users to update the applications. The Admin can do it alone.

  Now, I am facing the problem that users who use CC on their private computer cannot update certain programs, because the Admin has to do this.
