  Hi, a little more Wolfgang post. It is the combination of the Panel to manage and control the unique ID: as you know, you can load the same panel more than once, so even if you recover the full chain of PANEL_CONTROL you have duplication. items that exactly identifies a particular control in a particular group are the combination control panel manage AND panel_control ID.

  On the one hand which guarantees more flexibility to your application, you can design only a few panels and reuse them whenever you want, even having some of them loded several times in the same instant. On the other hand, as you have discovered, there is the possibility (Finally, almost certain) duplicated in your app ID.

  To resolve the problem of duplicated IDS you can act in two ways:

  1. If you know that no Panel is never loaded several timer in your application, you can retrieve the name of constant of Panel with GetPanelAttribute (panelHandle, ATTR_CONSTANT_NAME, string); and to distinguish between the name of constant, then switch between control ID

  2. If you happen to have duplicate panels you will need to store each panelHandles in the non-volatile variables, switch between them and then switch between the control ID

  An alternative might be to use Panel callbackData attribute and assign a significant value during the loading of the Panel, other callbackData finally from a control ID. Something like this:

  One final note: it seems to me that all this is necessary in a very limited situation, where you have the same callback called on various panels/controls. Whenever the reminder is unique to a specific panel or controls on a single panel you don't need to work that way.

  I often find the easiest way to distinguish it from the similar windows on the taskbar is by the complete path provided in the ToolTip. However, with the display of thumbnails enabled, you must first hovering over the taskbar button, there is a slight delay before the thumbnail appears, there is a longer delay before the ToolTip text appears. Once the thumbnail appears I can move the cursor on the other buttons bar tasks and their thumbnails appear instantly, but there are still delays for the ToolTip text. It becomes quite boring.

  Is it possible to change the deadlines so that a) the thumbnail appears a little faster, and b) the ToolTip appears much more quickly (preferably at the same time as the thumbnail)?

  There are other places in the UI I want tooltips to climb faster. For example in Explorer or on the desktop, in some views, the full name is too long to see if I need the ToolTip to read. Is it possible to change the tooltip thus delays?

  Personally, I prefer to have ToolTips set up instantly and maybe a way to make them disappear if they get in the way. In fact, what Windows needs is a status bar as at the bottom of most browser windows. Then, there would be a permanent area to display additional information without cluttering the user interface. Too bad Windows 7 doesn't have it.

  Yes, but only 5 times.   It cannot be used to change the region to play a dvd, then changed back.  After 5 it changes in locks

  To change it, I think you do a right-click on the dvd drive and go to the tab (im not an atm computer) in the region.

  I had the wrong date on a shooting over 200 photos, and I'm trying to fix the date.  I can do this one at a time, but the option "replace all" does not exist in stand-alone LR 6.  Change button does not change the dates.  Save metadata by train does not either, nor does not synchronize.  Is it possible to change the date of capture on all these files at the same time?

  Oops!  Just thought it had to be in the library grid view and select in the main panel, instead of simply by selecting on the bottom bar.  Think this would work.
