If there is an update of the BIOS, which makes it possible to disable the beep, I think I wouldn't be able to apply it in any case, since it would be distributed in the form of a windows .exe. But I bought the device with an operating system Linux is preinstalled. Surely, there must be an upgrade of the BIOS that come to us?

  I am running Windows Vista x 32 on my Dell Inspiron 1525. The problem is that the device connect sound, immediately followed by the device disconnect sound, playing intermittently even when not a single device is connected. It doesn't seem to work by simply plugging the WRT54G2 in workgroup switch.
