  If your don't see preferences then may not be connected on the creative application of cloud, please check and confirm if you see a window for you to connect on the app if yes go ahead and this after click applications once it loads after that, click the gear icon and select Preferences.

  You're right orzech. The Vista recovery CD erase the drive HARD whole during the recovery procedure.
  But as already posted in another thread, you must know that the recovery CD is designed to put the computer laptop back to factory settings!

  If I understand your message, you have a vector object with several fillings in gradient in the appearance palette. So you want to fill a gradeint stop with a color to help your pipette.

  You can select a point of gradient (little tiny tiny arrow above blackens the gradient - look at my screenshots below) and use the pipette shift to fill the gradient with a sampled color.

  Though it seems to work, want to warn you that, with slopes, pipette shift not to taste the actual color, but a representation on-screen (exactly as it does with bitmaps). In the example below, I selected the stop 50% gray and taken between the (100y) and (100y 100 c) stop. The resulting color should have no magenta, but it does because and rgb sample and it is converted to CMYK, with the result the dowry of foam.

  

  Best way I use to get a specific color in the middle of a gradient, is to expand the gradient, select the vector shape, you want a samples, write down the number, and then cancel the expansion of your gradient.
