Is it possible to edit URL bookmarks directly in large groups?

I've got around a large amount of bookmarks including changed links because the site that it was changed servers/domains. As is a different URL than is in the bookmarks, Firefox doesn't recognize as the same page. In this case, the identification for each page remains the same; I just need to change the beginnings of each URL - for example, http://www.example.com/Lorem/Ipsum/ID34566 to https://pages.example.com/Lorem/Ipsum/ID34566.

Is it not possible to go to the file where the list of bookmarks is stored and then just use a "find all" and "replace all" function or a similar way edit bookmarks massively?

I guess ISPOL talk not in double Favorites, but rather many bookmarks for the same domain and for individual pages in this area.

Firefox stores the bookmarks (and the history of navigation and downloads) in the places.sqlite file in the profile folder. With Firefox closed, a user could edit this file using a Sqlite Manager - external program or add-on to Firefox, but would require some knowledge of the sqlite query commands and be able to recognize a bookmark of the navigation history. But the last could be solved by deleting the browsing history before starting to change.

If I wanted to, I export my bookmarks in bookmarks.html format and save this file on my hard drive. Can I open this file in a text or HTML editor and change the URL as needed - using 'find '. Then I would put this file to import into Firefox.
But before you import it in Firefox, I would delete all of the existing bookmarks in Firefox. HTML files imported into Firefox bookmarks, Add existing bookmarks, not replace them as with JSON backups.

And these two aforementioned modules would probably choke on a fully duplicated set of bookmarks, depending on how many bookmarks that you have.

Is it possible to edit photos on a SDHC card using my iMac, before loading the pictures changed on the iMac?

Yes but it depends on no doubt what application you use photo editing I guess. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and I can edit directly on the map of the camera if I want and download images to the iMac or elsewhere. I just did as a test on the card from the camera, but normally I upload the images on my desktop first and then go from there.

  • How can I get Mozilla to use the name of the page for the name of the real instead of the URL bookmark when I bookmark a page

I just noticed that (in comparison to Internet Explorer): in IE, when you preferred a Web page, it uses the actual name of the Web page (for example, for this page, it would be "Ask a Question Firefox Help" as the name of the bookmark), but in Mozilla, it uses the URL as the name of the bookmark. I was wondering if it was possible to change my Mozilla settings so that it uses the name of the Web page as the bookmark name instead of the URL? I hope that everyone understands what I am getting? If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Firefox uses the tag title for the name of the newly saved bookmark.

  • Is it possible to edit Firefox context menu to the standard address for the displayed Web pages?

Is it possible to edit Firefox context menu to the standard address for the displayed Web pages? Often, I want to save an image on a page. Sometimes I "slip" and press "Send Image" when I want to "Save Image under" and sit and wait for the default page - send an email to come, then shut up, juggling its dialog boxes "are you sure". It is a way of trying to manage a blunder. Basically I want an element directly from a page by email. Is it possible that I can simply remove "Send Image" from the context menu?

It is possible with the Menu Editor extension:

  • "Edit this bookmark" does not

Recently upgraded to FF 40.0.2 (Windows 7)

Before, when I would choose 'bookmark this page' I would get a popup I could modify the tags and name. Now, I don't see anything happen. It clearly set bookmark the page, because bookmarks poster now "edit this bookmark" - However, when I click it, it does nothing either.

I can't find any setting or the reason why it is not working properly; your help is appreciated!

The option to edit the bookmarks is absent from my current version 29.0.1. Right-click the star

The button star highlight to edit the bookmark because right click opens the context menu of the toolbar, you must left click.

You can right click on a bookmark in other places such as the bookmarks toolbar or in the sidebar and in the bookmarks (library) Manager to change the properties.

  • I'm used to be able to edit existing bookmarks. That's happened?

I've recently updated to 29 of Firefox and I see that now when I edit a bookmark by right click, properties and most of the other options are grayed out. How can I activate these options greyed out?

Could you describe where you experience this problem? Firefox can display the bookmarks (and you should be able to change) in one of these places:

    • Bookmarks (main toolbar) button menu
    • Bookmarks Toolbar
    • Classic bookmarks menu (on the menu bar, press Alt to display if it is generally not displayed)
    • Bookmarks Sidebar (you can use Ctrl + b to open and close)
    • The library dialogue ("Show all bookmarks" or Ctrl + Shift + b)

You can rename a bookmark in bookmarks (library) Manager in the details pane lower right, after selecting a bookmark.

You can also do it in the bookmarks bar (view > sidebar) through the context menu > properties.

"Bookmarks > organize bookmarks ' has been renamed to"show all bookmarks"in Firefox 4 and later versions.

Using Firefox 3.6.12 under Windows XP Professional version 5.1.2600 service pack 3, build 2600. Having the 'Unsorted Bookmarks folder Menu' module installed, works fine, but 4 days by clicking on the icon star to edit an existing bookmark no longer works. Hovering over the gold star still gives the pop up message "edit this bookmark"- but when I click it, nothing happens, the Edit bookmark box does not appear. In addition, the button 'Options' for the "UNORDERED bookmarks folder Menu" add-on is grayed out, so no luck with trying to fix here.

  • Is it possible to edit the ultiboard log file (v10.1.1)?

I made the mistake of removing parts of a design Ultiboard and will then mark them up a very different conception of Multisim. Now when I try to renumber all reference indicators and annotate back to Multisim, he wants to remove all items first and then make him renumber. It is with the version 10.1.1. Is it possible to edit the log file if it doesn't do the renumbering of part?

Since this drawing took me 3 days to deliver, she really sucks if I start more can renumber parts.

I thought that the answer would be no because I think they address this version 11. But I found a way to 'cleansing' of the log file. I created another design, just copied and pasted in the new design. At that time, I had the same exact design, with the same reference indicators and all traces of tact, but none of the nets. I've annotated front of Multisim and introduced all the nets without error. Now I have renumbered all parts and retro-annotation. He wanted to stick all over again but this time that Multisim just said "not supported - add part xxxx" which meant that there nothing done. But she made the reference of all changes of the indicator. Yay. Even if she was in trouble with multi-sectioned parts. He would get a right door, but the rest would be something different with "xx" in the reference indicator. As "Uxx6A". So all I had to do by clicking on the parties and select 'replace the component' and it will show the indicator just with a single gate used and I just had to select the same door.

    So problem solved.
