Is it possible to move a line drawn with the Brush tool

I created a document in Photoshop CC. I drew a number of line using the Brush tool in the toolbar on the left. One of the lines must be pushed a little. I can't find a way to select the line to move it. How can I do this?

Assuming that the race is separated from the others properly, you can select around it (for example, with the rectangular selection tool or the Polygonal Lasso tool), and then simply drag the pixels to where you want.

Note that if you work on background , it will fill the space left with the color of the background color swatch in the tools palette.

In Adobe Flash CS6, I have a blue box appearing around lines drawn with the line tool (and other tools like the brush etc.). Whenever I try to use a tool, a blue box appears around the line and I have to double click on it to handle, which opens just this line in a screen finery semi where all other objects are semi-gris in the background. I can handle this line in this screen, but nothing else at this point I could do 5 minutes ago. For example, I can no longer reach the 2 lines drawn by the tool online together. For some reason, it started randomly (probably due to an accidental combination) and I just can't put it to what it was. I inserted a video showing if all goes well I mean. Any help would be appreciated.

Object drawing mode. Simply disable it in the tools Panel, or by using the default keyboard shortcut, which is J.

I can't move the anchor points on a shape, I've drawn with the pen tool.  There are also small circles with a point in them (think focus), who they are and they are part of my problem? If I open a new document and draw randomly everything is good, no anchor and focus points behave.

Bubble icons are the widgets corner. You can drag inward to round the corner. They are not part of your problem. If you want to hide them, select view > hide corner Widget. I have a hotkey defined for this menu item.

If you see multiple bullseyes, you may have your set with the shape selected, that would prevent you from being able to move individual anchor points. Deselect the shape first, and then move the anchor with the direct Selection tool.

  • Change the thickness of the lines created with the Rectangle tool in CS2?

I'm trying to change the thickness of the lines for a rectangle drawn with the Rectangle tool in Photoshop CS2.

I can't understand how change the thickness of the lines of the four sides of the rectangle before I draw the rectangle by using the Rectangle tool or after the Rectangle was drawn. The same problem seems to occur when you use the tool polygon, Ellispse tool, etc.

I can turn the rectangle to make it bigger or smaller, etc., but it seems that I should be able to vary the thickness of the lines for a rectangle.

This task is possible in Photoshop?  It's simple in Illustrator - it seems it should be a fairly simple task in P-shop.  I looked on Google and in help for P-shop CS2 for a response but cannot locate a solution.  I don't see something really obvious?

    Any help is greatly appeciated.

    Thank you!

Read post 1 once again. You want to use the layer style (double click to the right of the name of the layer in the layers panel) and use the option of the race. You can even set layer styles to apply to objects with a single click. If you frequently need the thick rectangle, it will be a click.

Layer style presets that are predefined values and cannot be changed on the fly just like real styles, but they are still very useful.

  • Problems with the Brush tool in Animate - chips of leaves or steps of the finished line.

Noticed this problem with the Brush tool in Adobe animate - seems to leave a chip or stage of the race over each time that a line is drawn.

Older versions of flash were perfect, no problems with the brush not tool at least.

    Hi Toby,

We have fixed this problem internally and the fix should be available with the next update to animate CC.

  • Shift-click to create straight lines with the Brush tool is no longer works in 2015 CC

    Hello!

I feel a maddening thing I can't explain, maybe a bug or a dark environment?

If I use the pencil tool, I can click on the same spot on the canvas, then releases, then hold SHIFT key and click in another location on the canvas to create a straight line between the two points. This is expected behavior, and Photoshop has done this for years, as long as I can remember.

Until recently, the same has worked with the Brush tool. Since the upgrade to 2015 CC, however, shift-click on demand exactly as if I was clicking simply - he draws another full brush, but without a straight line connecting the two clicks. Weird.

Everyone knows the same behavior? (CC and Yosemite are completely up to date.)

    Best,

    Jason

  • Drawn with the pencil tool seems to fade in and out

My Nme is Allen Togwell.Case No.: 0183721415. Your type of chat line says I need a graphics card to solve my problem for my CS6. He gave a link but disconnected before I could use it. Can you help me with what type of graphics card, I need. I am 75 years old and not very literate com.

    Thank you

    Hi Allen,.

I looked at the file number and watched a recording of you work with the agent and I am not convinced that what you see is necessarily due to the graphics card.

This is my interpretation and thoughts around what have seen you. I noticed that you are working on an image that took a good amount of the screen seen in the zoom of 16.7%. In other words, that it was a large enough image. Then I noticed that you use the pencil tool with a piece that was 4 pixels.

I think that the combination of these two things was the reason for which the pencil tool appeared jerky or fade in and out when establishing. This happens because you are using such a small size and are zooming back as long as the lines are barely visible. When you zoom in her resamples program appearance. This resampling can cause detail to be lost and the appearance of vary depending on what level of zoom is used, 16.7% is particularly bad, with fine detail.

I think that there are two solutions, use a different zoom level to get a better view or use a pencil with a larger size.

I recorded this video for you for example

I suspect the list that the agent was suggested for video cards was at the bottom of this document

  • How to specify a length of straight line with the Brush tool

    Hello

I want to draw a few straight lines that have the same look as the paint brush tool. that is the ends of the lines have rounded ends.

The thing is, I want to be able to specify the length of these lines.

    (1) can I do this with the paint brush tool? So be specific with the length of the line, for example that I can specify in some fields or something like that?

    (2) otherwise, I use the online tool to look the same as a line of paint brush?

    David.

    Hi David.

    Option 2:

Select the line Segment tool (shortcut "------"). Click the origin. The dialog box should open. Specify the length. Apply a line with round cap. Adjust the width of the line and color to your liking.

    I hope this helps.

    Peace,

    Lee

  • Paint a straight line on an angle using the Brush tool

    Hi guys,.

I know this might be a quick and simple question, but can someone tell me if there is a way to paint a straight line on a corner in photoshop using the Brush tool as you draw instead of using the online tool?

I know that you can paint a straight line by holding down the SHIFT key with the Brush tool, but I want to do the same action on an angle.

    Thanks in advance

    ARC

Paint the starting point of your line with a single click and release the mouse button.  Then, move your cursor to the location where you the end of the line to be and shift + click here.  Fact.

  • How to fill out the lines that have been drawn with the paint brush tool?

I keep trying to use the paint bucket tool, and it does not. I need help, because I need to work on this animation.

It is usually because there are gaps in the line. There is a trick which called narrow gaps that is available when you click on the paint bucket tool. Select one of the options, and it's much easier to fill something drawn with a brush.
