I just got a brand new fully maxed out in spec macbook pro 15 inch 1 to SSD 16 GB RAM AMD R9 370 m GPU (set to automatic switching is not always) and a 2.8 to 4 GHz i7. I turned on and set it up which was nice and took 2 minutes. Then experience decreased a little when I saw an EST 05:36 hours of battery life remaining to 94%. So I loaded 100% and it is still 60% of battery life announced and no program running that I literally just signed a brand new machine.

  Then I tried to use the migration wizard to import a backup of my iMac 5 k so I can do everything on this clone for my laptop. After having successfully connected (he told me if my password for time machine was incorrect or not) it froze and did nothing, continue did nothing.

  The easiest way to configure things so that you can use the same catalog on both systems is to put the catalog and the files of photos on a single external drive, which then you exchange between systems as needed. You do only through pictures stored in the same folder as the catalog and at the same level, for example say you have "yourname Catalog.lrcat" located at the root of a folder called "Lightroom Sync", then you would need to have all your photos in the same folder "Lightroom Sync", once again to the root, so that the photos to sit at the same level as the catalog (paste all files under a single parent at the level folder of) catalog is easier). Installation like this, Lightroom can use the relative path of the catalog of photos and avoid any need to worry about the convention of naming/lettering of the operating system. Obviously, the hard drive must be formatted such as Windows and OSX have permissions of read/write on the disc, for example FAT32.

  When I print the page 'Print diagnostic quality' print A4 pages with color 4 color blocks that is to say, the black box has 3 columns of black, grey and light grey.  The Cyan box has 3 columns of the dark blue, light blue and medium blue.   The Magenta block has 3 columns of the BlackBerry to the lighter shade of a rose.   The yellow block has 3 columns of the shade darker of yellow in the middle and lighter shade of yellow.

  My older HP printer which was connected by cable always worked fine in color.

  The Cinema Display isn't a Retina display, so it will not show HiDPI resolutions. But it will work fine with your new machine.
