Is it possible to start it native Win7 since Win7 host?

I would like to run two Windows 7 installs (each on their own physical drive) with the possibility to start both natively and also open a via VMware Workstation v8.

Details on the script:
AHCI Disk1 = Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit (volume licensed)
AHCI Disk2 = Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

Disk2 will be my main/guest I'll start the Nativity in 99% of the time. There work stations in which I would like the possibility to open Disk1 and start-up of the Nativity Disk1 remaining installed time 1%

Please let me know if I missed all the details. Any advice or help would be much appreciated!

seems ok

I just checked your file vmx-even once.
You use LSI - SAS but the vmdk is attached as IDE.

    It is possible to what you describe.  An Android application can invoke a native BlackBerry 10 application.  You can even create a headless BlackBerry 10 app that runs in the background (similar to a service on Android).  So the action can be executed without the user see the GUI of the native application.

    In addition, starting with native apps BlackBerry BlackBerry 10 10.3.2 can launch Android applications.  Here are a few links to help you get started on the side BlackBerry 10.

  • Is it possible to include a native executable in the extension package?

    Hello

    I need to call the native code of the CS using the NativeProcess API extension.

    Is it possible to distribute a native executable file in the extension package?

    It seems that there is a way to include a 'regular' in a hybrid extension file, however, the file must be installed in one of the predefined locations (for example, "$applicationsupport").

    The problem is that to create a NativeProcess object in the extension code, I need to know the correct executable path, and I can't seem to find a way to know where exactly the executable file was placed by the installation of the extension program.

    Is it possible to install an executable file in the folder of the extension (that I can get to CSXSInterface.getInstance (.getSystemPath(APPLICATION)))?

    Thank you

    Anatoly

    Is it possible to install an executable file in the folder of the extension (that I can get by using CSXSInterface.getInstance () .getSystemPath (APP))?

    Well Yes, the answer depends on how you are packaging your extension.

    If you use the Builder Extension, you just need the executable file and are automatically copied into the folder bin-debug during the build process. The easiest way to do this is to put the executable file under src / folder. Another option is to make your own resources / directory and add it to the project's source path (see the section "Adding resources files, the path of the source project" here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/UsingFlashBuilder/WS6f97d7caa66ef6eb1e63e3d11b6c4ce74 9 - 7fd8.html). Once you have copy to the folder bin-debug, you're ready, you can start or export as usual and your executable will be reflected in the record of the extension.

    If you use ucf.jar, just make sure that your executable is the file extension that you're packing.

    You will need to should not create a hybrid extension in order to have a CS extension that uses NativeProcess.

  • Is it possible to start Firefox without having to open any page, not even a blank page?

    Just curious. Is possible to start Firefox 4.0.1 without opening any page, not even a blank page?

    No, you can hide the tab, if there is only one tab open, but it's not good to do.

    Perhaps if you explain why you don't want a blank tab, maybe we could have a nicer-sounding answer, if the answer is still no.

    What I don't like in Firefox 4, which is a blank tab ("" subject: vacuum "") presents itself as 'New tab' which is incorrect, once you do another thing the former title on the tab before 4.0 was more correct and it was in parens so he showed better as "(sans titre) ' on the close tabs and is correct, because it has no title."

  • Is it possible to start the gateway of 2014 VeriStand using LabVIEW 2014 programmatically?

    Hello

    There is a reload of the Is-there-a-possibility-to-start-the-VeriStand-2011-SP1-Gateway because what worked in 2011 SP1 is no more in 2014.

    I've worn the code in the previous topic, do the same thing (calling "__cdecl Int32 StartVeriStandGateway (excluding handle Int32)" in "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National 2014\Data\NationalInstruments.VeriStand.Gateway.dll".)

    Do this from a .NET (console process or windows) program or directly from a node DLLS in LabVIEW 2014 seems to have no effect, knowing the .NET code worked in 2011 even when it is called from a Windows service.

    Is there a new way to do it?

    Moreover, the "NationalInstruments.VeriStand.WindowsRegistry.GetInstallationDirectory ()" method disappeared from assemblies.

    Best regards

    I remember before I saw this. There was a problem where the dll cannot run in the UI thread, but has no way to specify any thread, but the LabVIEW user interface thread. So, the solution was to put DLLS in a sub - VI, value than Subvi to run in the 'standard' thread and calls the value of the call to the DLL to run in any thread. See attachment.

  • Is it possible to start an application with the settings

    Hello together,

    I wrote an application that is stored on a network. Another computer people begin to work with it. Now, I have the problem, that I need a few different configurations on each computer.

    It is possible to start an application labview with parameters, such as: application.exe - User_1

    The application must check the settings and should move to the required configuration.

    Thank you very much and best regards,

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

    Yes it is possible. First, you need to enable the transfer of data from your settings. You can do this in the application builder. It's something like 'send command line for exe settings' you will need to activate. You will get the setting in your program with the property "App.Args". It's an array with the name of the exe as the first element and an entry for each additional parameter bound.

    It will be useful.

  • Commands to start and stop a virtual machine hosted by VMware player

    Where can I find the commands to start and stop a virtual machine hosted by VMware player on a host Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)?

    I need to start and stop the virtual computer from a script as I could do this by selecting the ' power on ' and his 'guest stop' or at least 'power off' options of the GUI of VMware player.

    With the player, the VIX API is a separate download (on the same page you downloaded the install drive in), so I guess you will have to install the separate package to use it.  But it's pretty easy to do...

  • Recovery partition engage F11 starts after stock Win7 installed - Probook 4520 s

    Laptop: HP Probook 4520 s (with the Energy Star label)

    OS: Windows 7 32-bit

    Error: Nothing happens when you press F11 at startup

    Deliver changes: installed Windows 7 from stock disc Windows 7

    I am a PC technician with quite a few years behind me, but that gave me even after a day of research solutions to stop online.

    A friend bought a ProBook 4520 s where the previous owner, just before selling it, installed Windows 7 on a disc of Windows 7 Microsoft stock (I suppose that pros sell with a 'clean' OS), who of course ERA naked place without drivers, etc..

    When the installation has been made however, it didn't destroy the partitioning of HP (that is to say, the scores remained: SYSTEM OS (c:\), HP_RECOVERY, HP_TOOLS). These scores seem intact, so I am trying to run a HP recovery to return the computer to factory settings.
    When the computer reboots, I am asked to press 'ESC' to the options, what I do, then it prompts 'F11' for HP Recovery. When I press F11, it starts only the Windows 7 operating system as usual. With what I've managed to collect via search, I think something was disturbed on the HP_RECOVERY as the MBR partition, or something, possibly by the previous user making the active HP_RECOVERY partition, then selecting "Repair Windows" on the Windows disk.

    I tried solutions include:

    • Pressing ESC-> F11 at startup [simply boots as usual].
    • The definition of the partition HP_RECOVERY 'active' disk management, and then restart [simply boots as usual].
    • Installation "Enhanced HP Backup and Recovery Manager for Microsoft Vista" (sp38131.exe) [when it is run, and the recovery of the PC is selected, it is said there is no partition recovery and demand for drives].
    • Installation "Fix for HP Multi-Partition Recovery Manager" (sp48415.exe) suggested to the 'green post' here [no change].
    • Installation 'Recovery Manager install for Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade Patch' (sp45823.exe) [no change].
    • Install "HP Recovery Manager for Microsoft Windows 7" (sp45602.exe) [no change].

    I live far from having access to the purchase of HP recovery DVDs, so need a solution for this problem, please. At most, I can download.

    The operating system in recovery, I expect Windows 7, because there is a Windows 7 sticker on the laptop.

    There is not any way I know how.

    In addition, the recovery disk is a plain OEM version without drivers or software.

    The DVD driver and application automatically installs the software and drivers that are on the recovery partition, but it is on the support page and driver of the laptop (with the exception of the DVD software, which isn't a big deal since you can play DVDs in W7 w/o any 3rd party software).

    Just download and burn the ISO using a ISO burn option and reinstall W7.

    If you can't find the drivers, please read this guide to find the hardware ID and after the first string for each of them, and I'll give you links to the drivers you need.

    http://laptop-driver.blogspot.com/2009/12/how-to-check-hardware-ID.html

    I always delete all the partitions and reinstall a clean OS on any PC, I am owner and download all the drivers and the software I need, anyway.

    I see no major reason for dismay.

    A recovery partition is handy to have, but once you build the PC the way you want, use the included backup and imaging tools native to all versions of W7 and create your own recovery image on a drive hard portable usb.  Can use it if you need to recover the operating system.

  • Not possible to start after recovery

    Hello

    Yesterday my Toshiba Satellite L555-110 is not stopped correctly. It looked like endless loop, while Win 7 (64 bit) showed "logout". I turned the laptop off (5 sec power button). After that, Windows is not started anymore. There was a black with a message screen as 'Please make sure that all devices such as hard disks, CD-Rom drives, etc. are well connected and try again.
    I thought that I hit the file system and started a live Knoppix CD. I tried to fix the file system with ntfsfix on each partition. This does not solve the problem, so I tried to fix Win7 with the Original Win7 from my other computer disk. In the installation menu repair tools is not started, so I had to stop the computer again.

    I thought that the problem could be the MBR after that. I searched the web and found a "command of Knoppix'"sudo testdisk"with the option"write MBR ". After trying this, the error message has changed, that the computer does not recognize the bootloader more. Here, I decided to use the recovery DVD that I created after purchasing the laptop.

    Once the recovery is finished, I tried to boot Win7, but there was a new error message (on a black screen) who told me that there are files broken in C:\Windows\system32\drivers.
    As my girlfriend has the same model of laptop computer than me, I decided to copy the folder "drivers" of his laptop (after the renaming the originial files), start knoppix, and copy it to my laptop. While trying to boot Windows with the 'safe mode' option there is no error message more appear, but now I have a hangup.
    After that I tried to install Win7 with the original disc in my other computer, but when you try to install, there is a message 'C:\$Secure' kind of broke down. Try the chkdsk command. Repair tools has not responded (infinite loop) after a few minutes of trying to find the Windows installations

    Can someone help me? I have no idea what to do at this point

    If you have two absolutely identical laptops equipped with identical hardware put HARD drive laptop s girlfriend in your laptop and try to start Windows.
    Please post the result.

  • possible to start the MXI-3/PXI system after booting the PC?

    Hello

    I'm new here, so I just asked this question in another thread with a response. I did not notice that it was already marked as solved, so I'll ask again in my own thread.

    My problem sounds very akin to that of Kobi, but there are a few differences that hold my hopes up that the problem could be solved. Summary of the configuration of the system:

    -PC (MXI-3)

    -> PXI1002 (Chassis1)

    -> PXI8335 (port1 - in)

    -> PXI8335 (port2 - out)

    -> PXI5122 (measure)

    -> PXI1002 (Chassis2)

    -> PXI8335 (port1 - in)

    -> PXI5122 (measure)

    The goal is, as it is easy to guess, to be able to start at any time, additional measuring devices even when the pc is already running.

    The situation is different from ' Kobis in a precise point: in my case the cards and all equipment is permanently visible in MAX, even if I started after the pc has started. This change is the boss of the leds, and PXI cards do not pass the test in MAX. The following screenshot shows the configuration of the system how it is observed after the two ways to start the full system (first first pc or PXI).

    (Even if I use a German version of labview English my MAX partially keep, I hope this isn't a problem.)

    I have tried to identify the PXI system and chassis, but failed to get a different result. The NIscope screws are ordered initialization and reset of all sessions, but only if I turn first PXI systems.

    So you think it would be possible to achieve the goal of implementation, or should I stick to the start-up of the pc after turning on the PXIs? I did some research and I know, the installation guides to specify the order to turn on the devices, but I thought that it was only intended for installation/first round.

    I would be really grateful for any advice in the present.

    Hi Max,.

    There is no way around first PXI. Always start the PXI a d, then the PC system.

  • Can I put windows xp starter looking for win7 type file search

    In win7 you just put the name of the song at the top when you open the file with over 25,000 songs which is optimal.

    My laptop (1 GB ram) running windows xp starter edition and when I open my file of the song, the search button has nowhere to
    write the name of the song. You must go through the research of your time on the left with much use of the mouse.

    Hi Mkklincr8.

    You have the Windows 7 Pro who withdraws the offer of Win741? If so you can ask them for the iso instead of the exe version. Then, because you're going to Ultimate Pro, you will need to do a clean install.
