Is it possible to sync my music playlists on my MacBook with my iPod shuffle?

Hello

I tried to sync my Playlists in my MacBook Air with my iPod shuffle via the function "AutoFill". "."

However, this does not work with Apple music songs - is not possible to transfer the songs by clicking on '... / Add to a device / iPod»

Why not?

Thanks for your advice.

Linda

Hello

Your iPod shuffle is not compatible with Apple music. You can only synchronize apple music for iOS devices. You cannot sync music Apple by usb as DRM.

  • Apple music playlists lost only songs not recorded offline when you move to iOS 9.3

Hi very weird, but nothing new with Apple music that my playlists have been dirtied with once again.  I noticed my playlist before the update to iOS 9.3 now lacks all songs on them that were not saved in offline mode.  It has destroyed most of my playlists, and I have to build some from scratch once again.  Curiously, the songs that were once on these playlists are still in my library, but they were withdrawn the playlists during the update.  Is it possible to restore this or what do I have to manually put it even once?

    Hey,.

I had the same problem... I start noticing that he does after each update. I have playlists of 30 songs to 5 songs. It is really annoying to try to manually fix the playlists. First time it happened to Apple had put me Apple icloud under tension, restart the phone and repeat 5 times more. After many attempts, he returned eventually, but isn't this working time

  • Is it possible to simply add a playlist iTunes game and not everything in iTunes?

I just signed up for iTunes game but do not want to put all my music in the cloud. Is it possible to add to a playlist? If I choose the music is downloaded?

    Hello

N ° iTunes game scans your iTunes library to determine what can be mapped and what needs to be downloaded. Once the analysis is finished, all the music and playlists will appear on your iPhone. You can then make the playlist available IE downloaded offline. You can then change the settings to show only the music on your iPhone.

  • Why don't the music I added just sync with my ipod

I have an ipod Nano and currently on that music.  I downloaded 6 CD I bought to my itunes library, but now it won't sync to my ipod and add new songs.  What should I do?

It depends on how your iPod nano is currently configured to synchronize.  Manually or automatically.  If you are unsure, select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see the iPod settings screen in the iTunes window.  Along the left side, in the sidebar, under settings, click summary (probably already turned on).  Right, you see the main unit for your iPod settings.  Find the check box for manually manage music and videos].  If this box is checked, the iPod is configured to use the Manual method to load the content.  If it is not checked, you use the Automatic synchronization.

Manuel seems more likely in this case...  On the horizontal bar that runs through the iTunes window, click on the music (far left) button to display your music library.  Environment close to the bar, click playlists.  A side bar appears along the left side of the window, with your iPod listed under devices.  In the main part of the window, you can change the view of your music library using the control at the right end of the horizontal bar.  I usually use songs, show a simple list.  But in this case, the Albums may perform better.  In all cases, drag the songs you want on the iPod music library to iPod in the sidebar.  You can probably drag whole album (CD) with a view of Albums .  You can select multiple items at once when you do.  Alternatively, instead of dragging to the iPod, you can right click on selection and Add to Playlist-> [name of your iPod].

If your current iPod setting is for Auto -sync, please after return.

  • All my messages on my iPhone were mysteriously deleted after I restarted - is it possible to sync my old backup iPhone with my iMessages on my Mac?

    Hello!

This past weekend, I noticed that my Messages app acted strangely on my iPhone 6. Accordingly, I turned and turn it on again and noticed that all of my posts have disappeared. I then did a hard reset and turned on - still no messages.

I have my settings to keep my messages forever, what really saddened me to see all of my messages disappeared. In any case, I'm about to restore my backup iPhone on a new phone (6 s). Luckily, I backed up my phone the week last before my messages disappearing.

I understand that when I restore a backup, everything that happened on my phone since will not appear. However, I have also the Messages on my MacBook Air app, when kept all my messages before and after the mysterious disappearance on my phone. Once I have perform this restore, I was wondering if it is possible to synchronize in any post-restore on my laptop to my phone messages.

    Thank you!

    Hi masizh,

Congratulations on your new iPhone 6 s! I understand that you want to synchronize the restoration of post messages on your Mac Messages app to your iPhone 6 s. If these are the iMessages, your new device needs to load the entire conversation once you send or receive an iMessage from the recipient. SMS messages may not work in the same way, however, you can contact your operator for support with text messages.

To continue to have your Mac with your iPhone SMS sync, don't forget to implement continuity with your new device.

If you have an iPhone, the SMS that you send and receive on your iPhone may appear on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch as well. You can then continue the conversation from any device is closer to you.

Set up SMS and MMS messaging

Use this feature with any Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that satisfies the requirements of continuity system. Make sure that your devices are configured as follows:

    • Each device is connected to iCloud with the same Apple ID.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > Send and receive. Make sure the Apple ID at the top of the screen is the same Apple ID you use for iMessage on other devices. Add a check to your address, phone number, so that you can be reached by both iMessage. Do the same on your iPad or iPod touch.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > transfer, text messages, then choose which devices to send and receive text messages from the iPhone. A verification code and then on each device. Enter this code on your iPhone.
    • On Mac, open Messages, and then choose message > Preferences. Click accounts, and then select your account from iMessage. Make sure the Apple ID shown here is the same Apple ID you use on other devices. Add a control to your phone number and email address.

Use the SMS and MMS messaging

To use this feature, simply start conversations as usual in the Messages application on any of your devices. Alternatively, you can start a conversation by clicking a phone number in Safari, Contacts, calendar, or other applications detecting phone numbers. All your incoming and outgoing messages on all your devices.

Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Enjoy your new iPhone!

  • Ok. so, when I sync my music to the ipod, it can read my computer to play, but it is not recognized as the device when I unplug it from the computer.

my ipod plays only a few original downloads on my sound surround of boise, but the most recent downloads will only record and play on my computer. When I download music it synchronizes and can be found and played back on the computer but is not found on the actual screen of the ipod to play my biose surround sound, but there is space on the ipod.

If you wait for the new songs (in your iTunes library) to automatically synchronize to the iPod, it must be configured to use automatic synchronization (setting synchronization music ).  Select iPod in iTunes by clicking on its button on the device.  For current iTunes, the screenshot below shows top left corner my iTunes, iPod touch window circled in red.

Click this button to display the settings of the iPod summary screen in the iTunes window.  Along the left side of the window, in the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  To the right, the music from the iPod settings screen.  Check mark for Sync music box (if it isn't already)

NOTE: No matter what songs on iPod that are not in your iTunes library (on computer) will be lost.

This enables automatic synchronization.  You can choose to synchronize the entire music library (if it fits on the iPod) or a part of the selection .  Implement this screen as you want, and then click apply.  Further, iTunes automatically keeps iPod "in phase" with the changes to your music library (or the selected part of it) when you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected).

If this isn't your problem, please post back with additional details.

  • How to stop applications to sync on my iPhone when I sync my music from iTunes on my Mac to my iPhone?

How can I stop all applications that are in my iTunes to sync on my iPhone while I'm syncing my music from my iTunes on my Mac to my iPhone? He doesn't have a checkbox in the Apps section for not having ALL these apps to go back on my iPhone. Help! Now should I remove each app individually out of my iPhone?

    Hi there deg20,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! Looks like all the applications listed in iTunes to sync your iPhone while you move your music. I can understand wanting to be able to customize the content that is on your device. I'll be more than happy to help!

From what you describe, appears it option "automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" to be enabled. To activate which turns off, select the Summary tab and uncheck the box next to this feature. Once you have done this, you should be able to navigate between sections of content / media specific to choose what you want to synchronize with your device. After you apply these changes, it should appear on your iPhone. See the following article for advice on the content of sync on your iPhone:

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

You should also ensure that you have enabled the option to manually manage content, as described in this article:

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

If you don't manually add or remove content from your device

Check the option "Manually manage music and videos" is turned on:

    1. Connect your device to your computer.
    2. Open iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version.
    3. Locate and click on your device.
    4. In the left sidebar, click summary.
    5. Scroll down to the Options section.
    6. Check the "Manually manage music and videos."
    7. Click on apply.

You might see a message that your device is synchronized with another library. This means that you used another computer to sync your device in the past, and iTunes cannot sync without erasing first and replace everything iTunes on your device.
