Is it possible to sync or back up my bridge database and then load it on another computer?

All I want to do is save my database of bridges so that when I go to another computer and open the bridge... files will be displayed. Is this possible?

You cannot back up an iPhone to an iPad or vice versa, but you can save them both to a computer via iTunes or you can backup to iCloud. See: How to back up your device using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support

You can also synchronize contacts, photos, etc. between the iPhone and the iPad. See settings > iCloud on each device for things that you can synchronize.

  • Possible to take a break, turn the unit off, and then out of the previous point?

Whenever the device turns off, it goes back to the previous song completed, or podcast, which was played.  It's incredibly annoying when you listen long files because the FF is very slow.  I choose on 'pause' the existing/podcast song, then choose lock or just let it stop by itself, but anyway that it restores the previously played file.

    Am I missing something?

    Version 01.03.02A firmware.

If you take a break and then YOU turn off the player, rather than to let it run itself turned off, it will save the spot.  It won't save the task if it turns off by itself.

And when you turn it off, hold the button for about 10 seconds or until you see the ring flashing in blue.  Otherwise, it goes into sleep mode and uses the battery life.

  • I backed up my iTunes library and then wiped and restored my computer the moved my library back and reconnected to iTunes. Now iTunes does not show that the music is on my hard drive. He only sees in the clouds. How iTunes to make my paper copies

I had to restore my computer. I backed up iTunes to an external restore then imported my library back to the original location in my home folder. Then I restarted iTunes with the option key and reopened my library. iTunes is not recognizing that the original music files are on my computer, he thinks that they are alone in the cloud. How iTunes to see the files on my computer?

You back up and restore this way?

Moving a library: quick response if you use preferences by default iTunes settings: copy the folder integer iTunes (and to ensure that all of its subfolders and files) intact at the other disk, hold down the option/ALT key to start iTunes and on request to select a library select iTunes Library.itl file in the copied folder.

  • My date and time keeps going back to an earlier date and makes dificult to start. my computer.

My current date and time keeps coming back at a date and time that is earlier and I have to stop and restart several times.

According to my experience, this could probably be 1 of 2 things...

The first thing that could cause this problem is an infection.  Have you had a chance to run an antivirus program to scan your system for infections?  You currently have no antivirus installed software / protect your system?

The second thing it could be is a dying CMOS battery.  If you are using a desktop computer, change the battery should be a quick troubleshooting step to see if this solves the problem... If you use a laptop computer, he might need time to disassemble the laptop and replace the battery.

  • Is it possible to organize a bunch of documents I 'printed' and then really print everything at once?

I work in a large company with a shared printer that is approximately 25 steps.  One of my tasks is to print screenshots of the balance sheets and accounts.  These accounts must appear separately on several different systems and hand.  That is why it can be one or two minutes or even 30 between impressions.  I will do this for days each month.  If I have to jump up and run to the printer whenever I print a page (to prevent it from "disappear" someone to another stack of documents), then I lose a ton of carrier time to ball and more.

Is there a way or a software download, where I can 'print' a lot of documents, but held my computer until I have release them suddenly, date at which I will go to the printer and get them?

Is there a function 'pause' on the local print spooler to keep my computer of their sending to the real printer until I have set free them?

I don't know about the secure print function, and it seems that this would work, except that it seems that you have to put in your code for each 'document' which means that each individual page.  If this is not an option.

Another thing, I thought is to use Adobe Acrobat to print the pages in PDF format and add them to a master document, then print this document at the same time, but my employer does not buy Acrobat for us.  So that no longer works.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Hi J-law,

I think the best way to accomplish what you want to do, if you use Windows, would be to set the printer as "offline" in the queue for the printer. All your documents are in queue, and then when you're ready, simply uncheck the 'offline' status, all print jobs should then start printing.

If you need a more detailed explanation, let me know what printer you have and what OS is on your computer.

  • Is it still possible to synchronize my calendar on my mobile devices and the computer (which are mac)

    Original title: Mail without parallel

I bought a mac and windows is installed. Is it still possible to sync my calendar on my mobile devices and computer (which are mac) my calendar Microsoft and vice versa?

Simply connect the two to the same calendar service, which is responsible for the synchronization between all devices.  My recommendation is Outlook.com because it supports IMAP (sync mail) and Exchange Active Sync (which can synchronize mail, more address books and calendars).

Google Apps has also supported Exchange Active Sync.  I'm not sure icloud.  Really, you're at the mercy of your email provider in this area.  But the deal on the use of Outlook.com is that you can use as the backend without changing your email account/provider. Just install Outlook.com to connect to the e-mail service you use already today, and he will take care of the rest.

  • Is it possible to connect and reconnect a keyboard with the computer on?

I have now 2 iMacs Office sitting side by side on my desk.  Since I want a keyboard with a numeric keypad on the right side, I found the only way to get that with an Apple keyboard with a USB connected keyboard.  Therefore, when I want to knit back and forth between macs, I have to unplug the keyboard of one and then plug it in another one - and back.  It would be a hassle to turn off mac whenever I need to do that, so I was wondering if it would damage a computer.  Two usb ports are usb powered external hubs.

There is no problem with the device on a keyboard with the computer and plug in another.  It's only external drives that need to be removed before unplugging.

  • All my messages on my iPhone were mysteriously deleted after I restarted - is it possible to sync my old backup iPhone with my iMessages on my Mac?

    Hello!

This past weekend, I noticed that my Messages app acted strangely on my iPhone 6. Accordingly, I turned and turn it on again and noticed that all of my posts have disappeared. I then did a hard reset and turned on - still no messages.

I have my settings to keep my messages forever, what really saddened me to see all of my messages disappeared. In any case, I'm about to restore my backup iPhone on a new phone (6 s). Luckily, I backed up my phone the week last before my messages disappearing.

I understand that when I restore a backup, everything that happened on my phone since will not appear. However, I have also the Messages on my MacBook Air app, when kept all my messages before and after the mysterious disappearance on my phone. Once I have perform this restore, I was wondering if it is possible to synchronize in any post-restore on my laptop to my phone messages.

    Thank you!

    Hi masizh,

Congratulations on your new iPhone 6 s! I understand that you want to synchronize the restoration of post messages on your Mac Messages app to your iPhone 6 s. If these are the iMessages, your new device needs to load the entire conversation once you send or receive an iMessage from the recipient. SMS messages may not work in the same way, however, you can contact your operator for support with text messages.

To continue to have your Mac with your iPhone SMS sync, don't forget to implement continuity with your new device.

If you have an iPhone, the SMS that you send and receive on your iPhone may appear on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch as well. You can then continue the conversation from any device is closer to you.

Set up SMS and MMS messaging

Use this feature with any Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that satisfies the requirements of continuity system. Make sure that your devices are configured as follows:

    • Each device is connected to iCloud with the same Apple ID.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > Send and receive. Make sure the Apple ID at the top of the screen is the same Apple ID you use for iMessage on other devices. Add a check to your address, phone number, so that you can be reached by both iMessage. Do the same on your iPad or iPod touch.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > transfer, text messages, then choose which devices to send and receive text messages from the iPhone. A verification code and then on each device. Enter this code on your iPhone.
    • On Mac, open Messages, and then choose message > Preferences. Click accounts, and then select your account from iMessage. Make sure the Apple ID shown here is the same Apple ID you use on other devices. Add a control to your phone number and email address.

Use the SMS and MMS messaging

To use this feature, simply start conversations as usual in the Messages application on any of your devices. Alternatively, you can start a conversation by clicking a phone number in Safari, Contacts, calendar, or other applications detecting phone numbers. All your incoming and outgoing messages on all your devices.

Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Enjoy your new iPhone!

my service tech remove thunderbird because we do not support, but I still prefer AND it had ALL my addresses top. Is it possible to get it back?

Thunderbird consists of a program (installed under Program Files) and your data, which you can find in your profile folder (explained here.
As long as you still have your profile data, it will be once you reinstall Thunderbird.
You can even run Thunderbird on a USB stick if you wish.

  • Is it possible to sync with Macbook Pro with the iMac at home? If so, how?

Most of the time, I need to exchange the data in my folder of documents between the iMac and Macbook Pro. I use a pen drive to do. I need to know if this Exchange is possible without the need of USB? both iMac and Macbook pro are on the same network.

    Verdier - saab

Yes - you can use a cloud like iCloud service or OneDrive who will be the reflection of your files - in other words - iCloud exists as folder on your devices as well as on the Apple servers. For files that work you on the MBP are synced with the Apple servers and also update on your iMac, when both machines are on and connected to the network - oh-you don't have to be connected to the same network - as long as the two devices are connected to the internet - the update will happen

  • I forgot my password, and accidentally I changed my key synchronization, so in fact, I lost my data. Is it possible to get it back?

I recently formatted my c: drive and reinstalled windows Vista and lost my data from firefox. When I was trying to connect to my sync account, I tried to set it manually but I forgot my password. So I reset my password, but accidentally changed my sync key, so in fact, I lost all my data. Stupid, Yes. Is it possible that I can recover the data? Maybe the servers to keep information removed for awhile before they are actually annihilated?

Remove the old password first, and then reset the SyncKey key again to clear the old SyncKey key (which you just restore), in the password manager.
