Is it possible to truncate level variables of gravity for alerts by e-mail

I currently include the name of the agent in my alert e-mails. Is it possible to truncate the name of the agent as well as the full name does not appear in the emails? Our security environment is now called for this so don't not to share the names of full server with third-party recipients.

Ex. var5 expression is scope.get("agent/host/name")

My server name is FGLserver1234

Is there a way to get only the first three characters and the last four characters as FGL1234?

You can use the groovy scripting language to analyze the host name in the severity variable and then return the adjusted name.

Here is a small script for example groovy

hostName=scope.get("agent/host/name");

replace hostName = hostName.toString () ("Server", "-");

return (hostName);

    I'm working on a project where I want a slide to display a button continue and hide the 2 areas of text, but ONLY when the user has already visited 2 other slides. I can only find variables indicating the slide the user previously visited.

    If the user has visited slides 62 AND 87, image_536 to show and hide text_caption_243 and text_caption_242

    I don't want action be executed if only 1 2 slide have been opened - it must occur when the two were opened.

    You will need two variables, it can be Boolean values. I will label them v_one and v_two with a default value of 0

    Because I don't know how the slides are formatted, do you use a Next button or are all visited media executives? You will need to have an event on the two blades to trigger an action:

    Assign the v_one with 1 slide 62

    And a similar action on the other slides to alternate v_two (do not use the toggle command, if the user accesses a slide twice, it could be toggled to 0).


    You do not specify where these text containers need to be (please, label your objects and slides)? But you'll need advanced conditional action triggered by another event somewhere:

    IF v_one is equal to 1 AND

    v_two is equal to 1

I'm building the quiz with my own custom variables and coded so that the program jumps to a page of the certificate if the user gets more than 84 points. THA all works very well. But I have to be able to tell the database that the program will connect with the user has passed the quiz. I thought I could do this if I assign the value 1 to the variable cpQuizInfoPassFail.     I don't see the version you are using. Each interactive object can be marked, has a report following properties in the control panel (if you use CP5 or CP5.5) or a tab in the Properties dialog box reports, if you use a different version. You must add a score (default value is normally 1 point) and make sure you add it to the total score.

    Robin is right about the upgrade. It is not possible. in my opinion the best solution for you is to use a PCMCIA WLAN card.

    You can create a password reset disk only when you are able to log on or access Windows 7 computer and after you have created a password for the same.

    Windows 8 password reset disk can be used only in Windows 8 computer where you created the password and not for Windows 7.

    You must create a Windows password reset disk before you forgot your password. You must also create a new password reset disk when you change your password in Windows.

    If you the administrator password are changed and is not a password reset disk or another administrator account, you will not be able to change or reset the password.
