Firefox crashes as soon as it loads

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

You can try to Uninstall and reinstall Flash. If the problem persists you can also temporarily disable Flash in (Alt + T) Tools > Addons > Plugins and try the HTML5 videos wherever possible. Most of the videos without ads embedded have equivalents of HTML5. You can also try opening the problematic sites in IE Tab + or IE Tab in Firefox.

I used FF for years and until the recent updates had no problem. Since upgrades FF is unresponsive or crashes frequently. Do not load pages or if they do not load they cling just forever. I went through the info on the help available and the proposed resolution has failed. Until upgrades FF for me was the most stable browser option.
I use this for work and do not have the time for questions, in that I continue to run and having to use two browsers is stupid.
Help is appreciated.OK, a few reports of incidents that have been submitted are blocking flash - which will be difficult to resolve because the plugin is like a black box. There was a flash adobe released update today, then you could see if it can improve things: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

title describes everything... very frustrating... makes me want to go back to chrome.
Your error reports display two DLL files as creating a condition for Firefox crashing.
One is an Intel graphics driver. Search for graphics drivers updated. If udated drivers are available, try turning off hardware acceleration in Firefox.
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration#w_turning-off-hardware-accelerationThe 2nd DLL is linked to 'DisplayLink Core Software v4.3.8432.0' which can be a file used by what is called system tray cleaner. Disable it temporarily to see if that was causing your Firefox plant.

Firefox crashes soon after startup
Asked me to restart my laptop (64 bit) of Windows 7 to apply an update to my Norton protection product. In my view, an update of Firefox has been applied recently as well.
After the restart, Firefox crashes repeatedly. I can usually do much after Firefox restarts before it crashes again.
Hi Matt & Omnisilver
I followed all the troubleshooting steps in the links you provided & thought that was included in my original post, but it seems that after the first half.
In any case, I restarted again, and up to now things seem stable, even with extensive extensions, so I think that my problems are solved.
Thanks for your answers,
