  -Is it possible to migrate a virtual machine between vcenter servers programmatically?

  Let's say we have two data centers:

  vcenter1

  -vm1

  -vm2

  vcenter2

  -vm3

  Is it possible to migrate vms between vcenter2 and vcenter1 programmatically? (or vice versa)?

  Also, I'm assuming that the appropriate VLAN and data warehouses across the different vcenters!

  It is not possible, vMotion or migration live is in an instance of vCenter, it cannot be covered through two even if you have the data store accessible both vCenters and sets of the host. At best, you can unregister the virtual machine of vCenter 1 host and re-save as on vCenter 2 host, but once again, it is while the virtual machine is turned off.

  I would use a selector to choose a value that is neither Date nor time https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/bb__cascades__DateTimePicker.html

  My use case would be to choose an interest rate, where the first selector column to increment the integer from 0 to 99 and a second column to select decimal 0.00 to 0.99.

  The selector looks like this would be the best bet to do this, because a drop-down list would be much less elegant way to do it. The selector will be expanded to support the values of Date/time? Maybe it's possible now?

  Unfortunately, the DateTimePicker in Cascades cannot be used for values other than Date & time. As an alternative, you could use cursors and display the value above, because there are a lot of values to choose from in your specific application:

• Using a single server for Multiple Instances of the APEX HTTP

  Our company DBA asked if it would be possible to outsource the server part of HTTP of APEX from DB servers. In other words, it would be highly preferable as DB servers * only * start the Oracle database software.

  We know that we can install the HTTP server on another box, but in thinking how to that, we were wondering if it's really necessary to create a separate HTTP Server installation for each instance of the APEX. What we would really like to do, is have a HTTP server for all our our boxes of Dev and several (but not one) for each of our superior environments; implementation stage, qa, prod, etc..

  Right now, each instance has a file single dads.conf on every box of DB. So, if we we to try to consolidate, we need some way to incorporate several dads files and associate each correct instance.

  Someone has already done this or (preferably) to have some examples?

  Yes, you can consolidate permanently. It is a common practice that was also available with Apache/mod_plsql, OSH and now with APEX earphone 2.

  I was wondering if was possible to use vector for audio instead of PNG buttons? I googled and searched and I guess that you can not... seems a little weird and it made my head :-) Even at double, I can't do my buttons look crisp to the retina.

  I am currently the lone techical writer in my company and I use Robohelp HTML V8 to generate WebHelp to our software. The HR software has been improved a full license of the original Robohelp V5, V7 update, then a V8 update.

  I'm on using Robohelp Server to open the possibility of adding another author and would like to know how complicated it is. Do we still need to buy two licenses of seat for Robohelp and Robohelp Server V9 V9, or are they included with the license server?  In addition, there is concern for the V8 project update to V9?

  I need to understand your needs. If this new author will work on the same set of project files that you would be better placed to use a source control application. This does not require a RoboHelp Server license. Your RoboHelp license includes a control application source called RoboSourceControl you can use if you want, although most prefer other applications such as Microsoft TFS or Tortoise SVN. Both of these can be used with RoboHelp if necessary.

  After a lot of research because my brain would allow, I discovered that I can't let ONE client to use a single image and that if I wanted to do several customers use this same image I have to redownload the image (the license) or a licence.

  My question is: If I had to get a license on an image how many of my clients would be able to use this image even on their Web site? And all the images offer an extended license?

  An extended license, you cannot use the image for the benefit of several clients.  You will need to license for each customer that you want to use the image for the image.

  You have therefore three sites.

  The first time, you will choose vCenter Single Sign-On for your first server vCenter Server.

  For the second one on the same site, you choose existing vCenter Single Sign-On for an additional vCenter Server in a site.

  Now, when you come to an another site vCenter and third, you will need to decide if you have a site that is your main or you want to still have a site on the second.

  If you decide to join at the elementary level, that you will yet choose existing vCenter Single Sign-On for an additional vCenter Server in a site.

  If you choose to have another site, you choose vCentre of Single Sign-On for an additional vCenter Server with a new site.

  The end of it, you will have to make the decision to design. I can only tell you what they mean. Make sure you have adequate connectivity between sites.

• Is RV320 - possible to use the RADIUS for the users of PPTP VPN?

  We replace a Draytek with a RV320 router and have trouble with the last step which is the VPN configuration. We currently have our VPN users defined in a RADIUS server, and the Draytek check credentials against this. However, the RV320 doesn't seem to work in the same way - the server RADIUS is configured but VPN users cannot connect. There is nothing in the system log to indicate if there is a problem connecting to the RADIUS server, or if the router is even able to use RADIUS for PPTP connections. Adding a user manually allows PPTP connection so I don't know the PPTP settings on the client are correct, and that the PPTP on the RV320 server is functional and configured correctly.

  RADIUS authentication should not work for users of PPTP then I could set them up manually, except that the web interface of RV320 has a restriction on the length of usernames - it seems to allow only 11 characters, where I would need to have user names up to about 15 characters for some of our remote users. Why the RV320 have such a length short maximum username?

  I got the feedback from the engineering group. Even if she has the RADIUS as a drop-down option, the PPTP server only supports local user database authentication. I was wrong in my first answer. They confirmed THAT SSLVPN & Easy VPN will support RADIUS but not installing PPTP.
