  • iTunes Movie downloads that are missing work

I use the latest version of iTunes and that you ran into this new problem: two movies that I bought - a real purchase and rental - downloaded and instead of display the work (poster / cache 'dvd') he displayed a "screengrab" of the film in its place. I understand that it shows that the work is missing. The funny thing is that the work did show as it was downloaded, and then disappeared.

Any suggestions? I could let it go, but I kind of anal about these things. I also downloaded purchases earlier and other new rentals that do not display the expected work. Thanks in advance.

    Hello Soulo_Guero,

I understand that you are away from the work of two films that you recently purchased on the iTunes Store.  You have updated to the latest version of iTunes (12.4 v)?  The first thing I would say is right-click on one of the movies you have downloaded to your iTunes library.  Click on 'get info '.  Do you see the work tab of the work?  If this is not the case, click on the "Add a picture" button on the left hand side.  Let us know if this solves the problem for you.

  • Why does my HD iTunes movie purchases on Apple TV stream?

I just bought an Apple TV. I downloaded a few applications and they all work very well, like Hulu, Netflix and Yahoo; they spread instantly. But for some reason any HD movies, I bought it on iTunes take forever to stream. The iTunes Extras play instantly, but for some reason any the films themselves will not (at least not for an unreasonable amount of time). My internet speed is sufficient and I am connected via an ethernet cable. Is there any solution for this? I never came across this problem with my PS4 when I used it to broadcast HD content.

Other services adapt to the connection. iTunes is fixed, better quality and needs to load a game before the start of playback

  • iTunes movies take place HD - options

    Hi all

My iTunes movie downloads are taking too much space on my hard drive. The obvious option is to move to an external hard drive, but then I lose the ability to watch them when I take my MacBook out of the House (unless I take an external hard drive with me everywhere too).

If I downloaded a movie and saved on an external hard drive but then want to look at when I'm not connected to that drive, can I download it again?

Or is it possible to copy some movies back from the external hard drive to my office in anticipation of wanting to look outside the House with my MacBook?

Any other ideas on how to wipe my hard drive these files huge but still maintain access to them if necessary... I guess that is why the cloud based storage is a good thing because it is the way to get access anywhere. It works in this case? What are the options of cloud with iTunes movie purchases?

    Thank you.

If I downloaded a movie and saved on an external hard drive but then want to look at when I'm not connected to that drive, can I download it again?

In most cases yes, but I'll always make sure I kept a copy of all purchases on a disk storage somewhere where the studio has decided to withdraw from the Bank and it has become is no longer available.

You can also make your second procedure. It would be probably faster that a network download again and as I said above, you never rely on your purchases are always re-downloadable.

Re-upload is "iCloud" storage.  Apple has just put all of its features online storage under the name of iCloud either the 5 GB, you get free of charge for storage of the files or storage of game buy you for the media off the iTunes store or the re-free download you get from purchases on the iTunes Store.

  • Lost access to iTune movies

Older movies purchased on iTunes is no longer will play with checked Apple ID and recognized password, how can I update the movie file to play.

    Hello bmathews24,

I understand that you are no longer able to play movies which have purchased you from the iTunes Store.  Is the Apple ID you mention above the same Apple ID that was used to buy the movies?   Here's how to download again:

    Download your latest purchases

Download a film, television or music video show

You can redownload only a movie, TV show or music video you purchased from the iTunes Store. Rented movies are not available for the redownload.

You can download movies, TV shows and music videos on your iPhone or iPod touch, the iPad, Mac or PC. You can watch already purchased movies, television or music videos on your Apple TV, but shows they do not download to the device.

On a Mac or a PC

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. If you are not logged in, sign in with your Apple ID.
    3. In the MenuBar at the top of your screen, computer or at the top of the iTunes window, select account > bought. If you are a member of a family sharing group, you might see family purchases instead of buying.

If you are using Windows and you don't see the menu bar, Learn how to turn it on.

    4. Depending on what you want to download, click on movies or TV shows in the upper right of the iTunes window.
    5. Click on 'Not in my library' to the purchased display content that is not on your computer.

    6. Find the item that you want to download, then click on the download icon in the upper right corner. Your article downloads to your library.

    Enjoy!

  • Netflix is HD quality immediately, itunes movies take hours - WHY?

Why do Itunes movies/tv shows that I buy or rent take hours to play, whereas Netflix can play in HD quality now?  I know that Netflix has adaptable download, but the quality of the shows/movies Netflix is HD (IE, netflix shows being do not appear in less good quality so this isn't the answer).  In fact we can play several different shows from Netflix on our ipads and via apple TV at the same time without any problems or no loss of quality.

Is there a way to 'stream', while I don't have to wait for half the show/film download before I can start watching itunes purchases?

    Thanks in advance.

My wife and I bought hundreds of iTunes movies and music over the years. I have a terminal illness and won't last long. The account is in my name. How can I ensure that films and the songs that she and I have paid for are accessible for her after I die?

She needs to have your Apple ID and password. Your iCloud ID and the password if you have your own iOS device, so it can have access to these facilities. Even if she wanted to sell, it would need this information to remove the lock of activation before the sale.

If you don't want the automatic downloads enabled on your iPhone, follow the steps outlined in the article below, except that you will turn off the switch rather than turn them on.  I'll also include a link about the storage capacity of your iPhone and how to delete items that you don't want.

    Turn on automatic downloads

Check your storage space on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
