Is it safe/simple to remove and re-add the account Mail in Internet accounts?

I've dealt with this for months and months, and it drives me crazy. I have my email from Comcast (IMAP) account as my email account (accessible via Macbook Pro running El Capitan and my iPad), and whenever I turn the e-mail or the computer wake from mode standby, he asks my Mail password (Comcast). Fifty times a day. (I am also invited my password if I turn on the Notes, which is also attached to this same email account.) When I type the password, it works fine. The password also works fine if I connect to my email through webmail account, and Mail runs without problem on the iPad. HOWEVER, my password does NOT work if I try to enter through Internet/system preferences accounts. "I always get"Unable to connect to the account"/ unable to verify the account name or password" it.

I tried constantly to get messages to remember the password in Mail preferences (by clicking on automatically detect and maintain settings settings advanced SMTP, remove information from keychain, etc, etc), but really, what I would try is to remove my account from Comcast Internet accounts and add new. Is it safe? I don't really want to remove the e-mail account; I just put it up again in the hope that some adjustment is messed up is corrected. But I don't want to lose my (value of years of) emails or folders and I don't want to lose my Notes either.

Would I be able to reimport my mailboxes and notes (from my program Notes), if I delete the account and then set up again immediately in the accounts on the Internet?

  • Save, save as and attached to the E-mail Options greyed out

    I have a client using Adobe Reader X, any PDF file open on their system (Win7 64 bit) has the save, save as and attachment to the E-mail option is grayed out. This is for all users of the system.

    I can open the same PDF on my equivalent system without problems and have access to 'Save', 'Save-as' and 'Attach to E-mail' options. So I know the file PDF itself is OK.

    I tried to remove and reinstall Adobe Reader X on clients machine, but the same problem occurs after re - install. I checked the options in the application, and they both look the same on both systems.

    Are there options to the registry or any other thing, I can look at to compare the reason why we have to 'Save', 'Save-as' and 'Attach to E-mail' options and the other does not?

    I just solved the problem. As I suspected that he had no problem with the file, it must have been a corruption with the installation of Acrobat Reader. Although I had repaired and removed / re-installed application (nor with any success previously).

    So this time I deleted the Adobe Reader software and then connected the Acrobat (acrobat_ittools_cleaner_p2_061713.zip) the site Adobe Web cleaning tool. I then restarted the computer and re-installed Adobe Reader 10.1.13. Now everything seems to work. Definitely under my ID, so just need to the end-user for testing.

    You have a message rule that does this?  Check tools | Message rules and you can set up rules to messages of color from different people.  But it's in the list of messages and not the message itself.  She is in the messages of itself, then it could be HTML coloring was applied.

  • Missing optical drives after removal and reinstallation of the only power cables.

    I had a problem with my cd - rw (plextor px-5224ta) and dvd - rom not opening not readers.  I opened my case and only disconnected the power cables, leaving cables ribbons connected, so that I can drag players a bit and work with trays to correct.  Once this was accomplished, I reinstalled the screw on their trays and reconnected power cables.  I start and the discs are recognized only in the Setup, nothing in the Manager device or workstation tab 'manage '.  Once XP starts they disappear completely, no yellow exclamation point, no code error 39, etc just disappeared.  I searched through endless forums and this site and tried everything that has been mentioned previously (double check all physical connections, remove case filters in the registry, the thing FixIt from Microsoft).  When none of that worked, I figured that the discs themselves were dead, even if they would be open, close and turn.  I cannibalized another pc with a cd - rw to hitachi and who threw in there without change.  I booted from the cd - rw with no problems, but windows is not yet anything optical displays on my system.  The cd - rw and dvd - rom are configured as IDE primary master and slave, respectively, although I've tried in the secondary without success.  It seems to me that I have completely a software problem.  I think I'm pretty computer savvy but I am down to a reinstall of XP MCE and I wanted to check with the experts, if I had missed something before.  And if it doesn't I'll throw him off the roof :-)

    Thank you for your message.  Your troubleshooting steps are healthy, the only thing that I would recommend before you resort to the "roof" or "Reinstall" would update the firmware or drivers.  You should be able to find this on the part of the manufacturer of your computer or the website of the manufacturer of the CD - RW.  Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.

    So, here I am making assumptions.  1. How can I "correctly install customer e-mail (I use aol).»  2.
