Is my phone battery?

My 3 year old e260 sansa 4 GB suddenly started cutting around a year ago. The problem was not really that bad it first because he didn't do it very often, just occasionally, so I has not paid it any mind.

Last night when I turned on my sansa, it would close whenever I pressed the button play, or tried to open 'my music '. It works fine when I plug it on my charger, but once that I take it off the beginning of problems once again, even at full power.

Should I just get a new player? Or is this fixable problem?

If the load circuit does not work, it means the battery might be good, but the player is not just load it.  If the battery is faulty (not / hold a charge), then the result is basically the same - dead battery.  The only way I can think to test with a known good battery (or, Alternatively, test your battery to a well-known player).

You can buy a new battery for not a lot of cash, but as prices fall on these players I think it becomes less advisable to buy spare batteries make more sense to just buy the whole player.  For example, there was an e250 renovated on woot.com one day or 2 there are something like $23.99 shipped.  If a battery will cost more than half a lot delivered...  I don't know, maybe I'm just too much of a bookworm electronic pack, but you never know when some of those spare parts could come in handy.  If you have lost a button, for example, or if you cracked the front plate (but not the internal LCD screen), or if your internal flash drive went wrong (and if both players are v1 models), or if you lost a part of the small screws on the back of the player, well, you get the picture.  There are a few interchangeable parts that can be useful.  Unfortunately, the elements are not replaceable (taken from helmet and LCDs).

    aanyone else having this experience

I think it's supposed to happen. It allows to maximize the total time that you get both the case and phone batteries. iPhones relatively quickly load up to about 80% and charge time then slows down. The case would consume more energy if she tried to charge your phone above 80%. I do not use the case myself, or product information tells you when exactly it starts to charge your phone, so I can't give you specific numbers as to when it will start to charge your phone, but it should at some point, probably very less than 80%.

  • Smart battery business effects on the phone battery?

    Hello

What is your contribution regarding the effects of the case continually recharges the phone?

First of all, I'm confused that the case feeds the case when the phone is 100% or if it is just trickle charge the phone and keep it 100%. I read a few articles such as (http://fortune.com/2015/12/14/apple-iphone-battery-case-review/) saying that the case battery fully powers the phone. However, I have reason to believe that the case is simply trickle charge the phone.

If the case was simply charging the phone on charge of compensation, he would have no adverse effects on the long-term phone battery? As (http://www.powerstream.com/li.htm) and (http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/charging_lithium_ion_batteries) does point out that trickle charge a Li-ion battery can have negative effects on the battery. I much prefer fresh case of how Mophie battery, I can turn it on when I want to and end it before 100%, but I prefer by far holding the handle of the smart case in my hands.

The management of the battery of the phone is very smart. When the battery reaches 100%, it stops to load. Completely. When the phone is 100% power is connected powering the phone, and the battery is ignored. If you could leave it plugged into the wall for weeks without interruption, and it wouldn't hurt anything. In fact, you SHOULD leave plugged in overnight, every night and allow automatic backups iTunes via WiFi or iCloud. In this way the most you can lose is a day data.

As a result, the case feeds the phone up to exhausts its battery, then the battery takes over. If the battery is not fully charged when you connect the case he will first charge the battery.

  • I phone battery on iOS 9.2 6 percentage

I've heard say that Apple is looking at a bug for I Phone s 6 and 6SPlus and battery percentage "stuck" or do not read correctly...

But I'm having this problem on my I Phone 6.

    The scenarios I've experienced:

The percentage will read 100% for hours after removing the charger...

SO thought I would ask the question that is happening I have 6 phone as well.

  • Smartphones blackBerry or broken phone battery?

Two nights ago, I loaded my Blackberry Torch 9800 and when she reaches 65% it said it was fully charged and it loads more. I unplugged, lose 5% of costs, and then it let me load it completely. Then I noticed that all day I wasn't using it much however the battery very rapidly decreased. I thought that this could be a unique however I woke up this morning after having put my phone on the charge again last night, I found he had reached 70% and refused to charge more until I unplugged and reload again. Once again the battery life decreases much more quickly than usual. I have not recently downloaded everything that could cause this. My apologies if this has already been posted, I did try and watch, but I couldn't find anyone with this problem. I wonder if someone could help me before I have to pay and get a new battery to try. I don't know anyone with the same phone as me so I can't borrow parts.

    Thanks in advance,

  • BlackBerry Smartphones too small for the phone battery?

    Hello! I need help.

My sister has a curve (8520). She overcharge the battery, so of course, it is inflated. We got him a new battery, which now seems to be too small for the phone. The only thing I can think is that the phone has somehow expanded, but that seems very unlikely to me. I don't understand how that would have happened?

Could someone help me on this, because I spent twice that the phone is a value, over a period of time, trying to get this fixed up for her, and I have neither the time nor the inclination to deal with service providers.

    Thanks in advance.

First of all, a swollen battery does not mean that the battery has been overloaded. It does not mean it probably needs to be replaced but I saw him slightly swollen batteries work fine.

If the new battery is 'too small', then it is likely, that you have the bad battery. The device did not inflate with battery.

  • My satellite phone battery does not light and the battery won't charge (rest on 2%)

Basically, my laptop is 3 months old and I don't know why it's acting weird. First of all, when I bought the laptop in June 06... the first week the laptop has no power in battery mode. So I stopped using the battery mode and still had to use my power adapter to power my laptop.

Now 4 weeks later, I removed the battery to the rear and put again. Guess what the battery started working. Now 2 months later the same problem occurs, only that this time after removing the battery to it still turn on and the battery says 2% and also fails to load.
So I m stuck with my son again... can anyone help?

    Hello

In my opinion the best solution is to confront your local dealer with this problem. If I were you I wouldn't waste time. Unit is fairly new, warranty still valid and unit should operate.

Perhaps is there some problem with electronic supply power.

  • My battery percentage is not accurate, I will let it charge all night, I wake up and it's on 80 so so I cut my phone to make it precise. Also my alarm clocks do not go to sea, and it's starting to be a problem.

I need a solution to my battery unaccurate percentage and help with my alarm clocks that they leave mounting

    Hi there alara11,

It seems that your phone battery does not charge, and your alarms do not seem to jump when you value. We should be able to solve that with troubleshooting software, so I would like to start by leaving the clock app and the settings:

Force an app to close the iOS
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201330

    1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
    2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
    3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

When you did this force restart the unit with the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons as described in the following article and test questions again:

iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset
    http://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201559

I don't think that, but if the problem persists, save your device in iTunes, then restore it like new and verify that it works.

How to clear your iOS device and then set up as a new device or restore from backups

If this is the case, restore your backup either check it still works and just reinstalled software or circumvent the problem in the backup file itself. Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, let us know how it goes!

This is a common problem, or I have a duff/phone battery. I ' v has the unit 3 weeks always powered off during the night. Sometimes it drains, sometimes not without reason

  • iPhone battery 5 vs 7

My iPhone 5 is almost unusable with 4 years of regular use. I heard the iPhone battery 7 isn't great, but how it rates compared to the iPhone 5?

Of the iPhone 5 - technical specifications:

    • Talk time: up to 8 hours on 3G
    • Standby time: up to 225 hours
    • Internet use: up to 8 hours on 3G, up to 8 hours the LTE, up to 10 hours on Wi - Fi
    • Video playback: up to 10 hours
    • Audio playback: up to 40 hours

    From http://www.apple.com/iphone-7/specs/:

    • (Wireless) of talk time: up to 14 hours on 3G
    • Standby time: up to 10 days
    • Internet use: up to 12 hours on 3G, up to 12 hours, LTE, up to 14 hours on Wi - Fi
    • Wireless video playback: up to 13 hours
    • Wireless audio playback: up to 40 hours

7 has much improved the battery life on the 5. Also your current phone battery has degraded over time, because it's natural for the batteries, so you will definitely see a significant improvement.

  • iOS 10 message app consumes too much battery

I upgraded my iPhone SE iOS 10 today with the percentage of the battery to 90%

After a few hours update, my phone battery is 53%, when I checked the battery I found the message app has consumed more than 20% of battery.

My iPhone is used for the last 2 days until now.

Update after a few days, the battery issue seems to have disappeared, it could be due to the upgrade.

No problems and I'm in love now

  • Why apple store lies to my face on the performance of the battery?

My phone battery use to last all day. It only makes now 3-4 hours with use of the lamp and (mode).

I went in the store to apple of Williamsburg, NY have the battery replaced, and they ran a diagnostic test. I told them that I don't mind paying for the new battery and service no matter that says diagnostic tests of preforms. The test showed 300 cycles and 103% of the capacity. They said that I don't need a new battery, but they will sell me a new iphone 6 for $300. They argued that the diagnosis is correct, and they will not service. If I need more capacity I should buy a case.

My phone turned off also just 7% if I try to open an application or make a phone call too. This is no sewing that my battery is at 103%, not even close. I think I'm getting 20% of the battery life that I use to get out the phone when I got it.

After one year. There is no reason for me to buy a new phone if I have a phone to work perfectly with a battery that dies quickly? Does anyone else have this problem? It is insulting to be told that I don't know what I'm talking about because they have information about the diagnosis on a screen.

They do not lie. They tell you the truth. The battery and charging system passes Diagnostics. Have you tried all troubleshooting at all to try to determine if there is a software problem?
