Smartphones blackBerry or broken phone battery?

Two nights ago, I loaded my Blackberry Torch 9800 and when she reaches 65% it said it was fully charged and it loads more. I unplugged, lose 5% of costs, and then it let me load it completely. Then I noticed that all day I wasn't using it much however the battery very rapidly decreased. I thought that this could be a unique however I woke up this morning after having put my phone on the charge again last night, I found he had reached 70% and refused to charge more until I unplugged and reload again. Once again the battery life decreases much more quickly than usual. I have not recently downloaded everything that could cause this. My apologies if this has already been posted, I did try and watch, but I couldn't find anyone with this problem. I wonder if someone could help me before I have to pay and get a new battery to try. I don't know anyone with the same phone as me so I can't borrow parts.

Thanks in advance,

Liz

On device, go to Options, device, application management is a great way to see what your applications with your use of the CPU on Smartphone. Simply drag bar greater than CPU and see what happens. Also touch the CPU menu to see other time variables. I discovered that an application has been eroding CPU cycles on my own

Disable Compression on the memory card? go to Options, device, storage

using a custom theme? Try it for a day that factory by default to avoid your theme

remember the ESC key to close most applications, with the exception of GPS and some chat clients. other applications must use the menu and then exit or close. The key furthest to the right is a key to the House and does not close on its own apps, but will put an end to the calls.

    Hi clearebragy1

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums

If you talk about the device password then simply change SIM card will not disable the device password a user defined here device. But if we enter too bad password (default is 10) then our device will begin a wipe removing all user data of this unit and must start all over again.

But if it's BlackBerry ID password, then it will be different! If we go in too bad password for our BlackBerry ID then it locks us, first for 15 minutes and so on. In this situation, must reset the BlackBerry ID password, but it will never be allowed to wipe our BlackBerry, refer to this Article:

  • Display different IMEI Smartphones blackBerry in the phone and the IMEI glued to the back, behind the battery

I just bought a Blackberry curve 9360 and the problem is the PIN & IMEI that appears on the phone is:

    IMEI: 3 * 5899

    PIN: 2 * C3

but the IMEI sticker stuck to the back of the battery and as well as on the boxshows:

    IMEI: 357965042073448

    PIN: 2 * 4F

It's really frustrating. Also I can't use the BIS plan that is already activated, because whenever I ask you to join the host routing table, it returns with none.

I use Airtel India as my carrier. Help, please.

You already posted this. Return the unit where you bought it. It's been tampered with.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Curve 9320 phone charger exploded during the charge.

I put my BlackBerry Curve 9320 on charges this morning that the battery is running low. Plugged into a wall jack, and after 1 hour, the charger went pop! Fortunately, I was sitting next to and off the charger to the power outlet before unplugging. Used cable comes with the phone and is plugged into my laptop (I know very risky) and hey presto on the phone was OK, so was the USB cable so that the fault was the charger plug! Jack was OK as my other half is an electrician and he said that the outlet was OK also. I am waiting for a new charger be delivered by Royal mail while I'm typing this. A lot of people who have this phone have the same problem? I was just lucky that I was able to disconnect immediately without any damage to the phone thanks to God.

Yes, the tat is thought too. Generally use a surge protected socket but used a regular wall outlet this day there without thought. My husband is an electrician and was told that the used was ok, the USB cable was ok, but the damage has been done to the charger and saved the phone thank God! My other half, with my permission opened the charger and one of the items was burned and stank! Have since been replaced charger and had a free USB cable included in the package that I'll keep it as a spare.

  • Smartphones blackBerry only showing phone keyboard not

I have a Blackberry Storm 9530.  When I call my voicemail or get a phone call, I do not see the keypad, so I'm not able to delete phone messages.  Also when I call an automated service of routing/answer to I am unable to press numbers to get routed to the appropriate service.  Very annoying!  It has been like this for more than a week.  I took the battery and put it again, I went through all the options and preferences, any keyboard by default, I select, I can't work.  Help, please.  It started to happen when I upgraded the software to v4.7.0.114 (Platform 4.0.0.143).  Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones blackberry wiped my phone device manager!

I am so angry, I can't even begin to express my anger here.

Its almost 01:00 in the morning here, in South Africa, I loaded the blackberry Device Manager on my phone and tried to communicate between my laptop and blackberry, but and this is a big BUT, ad nauseam BB Device Manager kept asking me a password for the device. I typed and retyped my password a few times 4774!

Finally, on my 10th attempt he wiped my phone!

I'm so so upset, because I had some really important numbers that I saved this handset today.

I mean, tomorrow, I can't contact a business for a very important meeting.

I have this in my life right now. I am so angry, I'm spitting up, bile, honestly.

Can I give this phone, that's what I sincerely believe that it is right now!

This is an age new phone with numbers imported from my old phone.

Do not ask your old phone!

I've read a few posts on the BB reading of numbers as words... but I mean the devil WT?

Surely the people at BB can see that this is a common problem and DO SOMETHING TO STOP this PASSWORD THING.

    With Device Manager!

    EDIT: Removed censored words

    Hi apothecary.

Sorry to hear the loss of data in your BlackBerry.

In fact, it is a default feature for the safety of the aircraft, where to enter the password 10 times in a row is going to wipe your device. Is your device BES (business service) or BIS (individual service). If on BES so you can recover all PIM data that do not exist on your desktop e-mail program.

It is recommended that you always keep a backup copy of your data from the device so that you can avoid these unexpected events.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry red watch then battery with Flash

Hello, my blackberry 9300 curve, first shows a red light, and then a battery with a lightning bolt on a black screen after 30 seconds, I loaded my charger for all 8hours after this error came. He need to know? I tried a new battery. Help, please

What you're saying here, you entirely finish the first process 4h15m, without success. However, completion of this review is also necessary to really know what can happen from what you say here, finished only half of the other test... full. Half of the test, with the result that you mention, directs us to make your BB who is at fault, but which cannot be conclusive enough, until the rest of this test is finished.

If only half of the test is successful, your BB is indeed the culprit. And it's a hardware problem, which cannot be treated internet remotely. If you have warranty, seek assistance through that. If you have no warranty, assessment in hand by a qualified technician in a local store (for you) would be the next step.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones blackberry turnt off with battery sign with red cross

Yesterday morning my phone completely dead, when I put it on charge a battery sign appears on a black screen with a red cross through it. I tried to load all day then took the battery overnight and its still doing the same thing. If anyone else has had this problem or knows what is the cause? Thank you

Your battery is drained. You can try to connect more time (Yes, I mean more than a day), if the battery continue to receive charges, you will be able to use it normally. Otherwise, you will need to consider ordering a new battery.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Blackberry 8220 Flip phone - problems with downloads

I ran into two problems with the downloads, and I wonder if anyone has the same problems?

#1-I downloaded 'facebook' on my handheld and once the download is finished, my phone was cut off and when she came back on once again, facebook has not acknowledged my email/password.  I registered using my blackberry email and password, and that's what I used to try to connect to facebook.  Finally, I deleted my downloads facebook, because I didn't really know what to do... so I thought I would try here.

#2-after you remove Facebook, I thought I want to download Yahoo! Messenger, as I am familiar with that.  The only thing is, after the download, I could not find the icon to get into Yahoo! Messenger anywhere.  It wasn't in my downloads folder, nor could I find it anywhere else?  I found added to my 'normal' profile on the phone, he was at a loss to know where to find the shortcut?

I have not read all the forums (my bad - I'm a newbie, but I watch!), and it seems that no one had discussed these (yet) download problems.  My apologies if they were considered above - is there a solution for the latter?

  • Smartphone blackBerry 8700g - record phone messages?

    Hi-

I love my 8700g (I know - Old Style!), but wondering - is - it possible to record telephone messages, another only by clicking on "SAVE the MESSAGE?

I've done a few times, and the messages were saved, but then mysteriously "disappeared" (I'm sure that there is a limit of 30 days or something I don't know).

My RS is in Iraq, and I want to save her phone messages I can hear her voice... but some of them have disappeared "in some way.

Thank you in advance, Oh BB geniuses!

    Pamela

Pamela, Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

How long your voicemail messages is preserved, is a service and the service of your operator, not the BlackBerry or the RIM. These message records are NOT stored on the device, but on your company's servers.

Some will allow to the various save lengths. Some you can listen again and re - save and extend the deadline.

Thus, a precise answer to your question must come from your provider.

In the meantime, you can use a like YouMail voicemail service, which will ALSO send you a data file saved from your voicemails received... you can keep forever.

  • How can smartphones blackBerry we separate phone and e-mail messages?

I'm new to the blackberry and do not see a way to separate my phone messages from e-mail.  There is an icon for my email inbox (marked my email address) but these messages also appear on the "messages" icon mixed between the activity of my phone.  What I want is to have only phone messages/activity (missed calls, etc.) under an icon and my email under another icon.

Is there a way to stop the e-mail of projection under the icon of 'messages '?  Can someone explain how to do this please?

    Best regards, Tim

It helps me a lot.  I still prefer having two distinct though - one phone and one for only by e-mail.  I just out of luck, or are you aware of a shareware or spare parts program that can achieve what I'm looking for?

    Best regards, Tim

Hmmm, seems that I just give you the necessary instructions for this. ALL your e-mail will come to the electronic record.

All your phone call logs appear in the call log display and not in the messages folder.

  • Use of Smartphones blackBerry OS5 OS6 vs battery

A have you noticed a difference in the consumption of the battery in the upgrade to 6?  I noticed that it seems to be a GREAT power drain hidden somewhere.  I seem to get half of the battery life I did when I was 5, and the change was the night when the transition to 6.  Any other experiences?

Honestly, I noticed the opposite.  My phone TO fully discharge the next day and now he still has a decent charge in the morning.  Do any of use you BBM?  When I had installed BBM I noticed more power in 5.x, drain when I removed it the drain of power was lower.  When I upgraded to 6.0 BBM was, once again, installed and I had to withdraw again.
