Make sure that you relink all executable files/programs once you make the upgrade and before starting the services.

Hello, could you help me solve these two issues?

is 1 - possible to migrate BPM 11 g running instances of 11.1.1.5 and FP 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6? If so, could you give me a specific documentation on how to do this?

    2. is it possible to migrate projects BPM 11 g (source files) 11.1.1.5 and FP 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6? If so, could you give me a specific documentation on how to do this?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Joshua
    1. When you upgrade existing RCU 11.5 + FP, UCR 11.6 using the utility of PSA, you should be able to continue to use the old processes/tasks created using old rcu 11.5 + FP. Because it's the very basic thing, we expect to work. Usually, I have not seen, there are NO major changes to the DB level of a version of another type of 11.4 to 11.5 11.5 + FP, etc. 11.6. When you mentioned that they do not function correctly, you did, get all db old processes such as some columns not found error or something in that sense. If you have Oracle Support, I'd definitely recommend to open a pension case and make them take a look.

    2. Yes, the other option that have already explored you is to create a NEW REVISION of the old process and you will have 2 revisions both running. If really necessary, I'll go in this direction. If you spend just old code workflow to use the new libraries of 11.6, then it should work. BUT as part of the upgrade, if you change the workflow code and add a few new components as any new task, gateways or certain services, so definitely come back with a new revision. Because the old processes will not be one of these new components and they can fail.

Just as in Production make sure, you have some utility to perform a backup nightly full RCU Database (soa_infra, mds, etc.). There are many tools out there from Oracle. And it is at the level of DB and nothing to do with soa or weblogic. Worst case, after the deployment of new code if something goes wrong, you can reset the code as well as the UCR database.

Firefox 3.6.6 came out on 26/06/2010 to solve problems that some were plagued with the new crash protection feature introduced in Firefox 3.6.4. NOTE: Version 3.6.5 has been used for another product, so there is a "jump" in the version numbers.

  • Running the Single Instance and RAC on the same server of different homes.

    Hi guys,.

I already have 4 node RAC12c installed on OLE 6.

I'm planing on some of my other 12 single instance databases on other migration for RAC nodes.

Please correct me here if I am wrong...

My understanding is that, to be able to use DBCA or rconfig for conversion of database instance RAC, the only instance and RAC cluster must run on the same server or machine node.

Thanks to this understanding... Am planing on the installation of a binary single instance on one of my cluster node node1 say and then use RMAN to duplicate the single instance or just an RMAN restore from the node of the instance that is unique to this node1. Am capable of this plan must then use DBCA or rconfig to convert the CARS database.

Now, my question is can I run a single instance and RAC on the same server for different homes with different database ports?

    2. for these unique instance that runs on the server RAC 1 node, can I use the RAC database listener that runs from the House of the grid or I have to create another auditor?

Thank you in advance and also let me know if I can use DBCA or rconfig when the only instance and rac database are on separate nodes.

    K

Fix. And that's what I would normally do. In general, I would have just an ORACLE_HOME directory that can be used by the punctual and RAC databases at the same time.

    See you soon,.

  • Coexistence of 10gR 1, 10 gr 2 & 11 GR 1 material "runtime" services on the same instance

    Hello

Our current staging is db 10.2.0.3 / owb 10.1.0.4 and we would like to migrate to owb 10 g 2 or 11 GR 1 material.

Is it possible to maintain the 10gR 1 owb runtime and install the server 10 gr 2 control service... and use both on the same instance?

= > run the flow of 10gR 1 connection to 10gR 1 run time in parallel with the flow of 10 gr 2 connection to the control center of 10gr 2!

Thank you very much in advance for your comments,.

    Sébastien

It must be well - as long as you install in a separate gr 10 2 House, create a new repository of 10 gr 2 and start a service of 10 gr 2 control centre, installation of 10 gr 2 should have no impact on the existing installation of 10gR 1. Each installation will work independently of the other.

The only problems you have are if you deploy objects in gR 10, 1 and 10 gr 2 the same schema target. OWB should only allow deposits to deploy on the scheme target (due to the requirements of audit for mapping). If you decide to reuse the same schema target for 10 g 2, then you will not be able to run via 10gR 1 mappings. I suggest using a separate target schema to avoid confusion.

A month ago, I got Thunderbird set up with three profiles,

Both computers are / were only Windows7 64 bit.

Thunderbird opens on the default if a profile
    or
The Profile Manager is responsible to ask at startup it will allow you to choose which profile to open if it opens the last used profile...

Thus, it shows a profile at a time within a single instance of Thunderbird.

However, only one profile can have multiple e-mail accounts.
for example: I run 4 e-mail accounts in a profile.

If you had not reinstalled Vista, we helped you recover the product key of Vista for running old, Vista activated using specific programs.

But, as you have wiped the hard and reinstall Vista, we will not help you recover the product key.

    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

Using recovery disks is normally not need to insert a product key.

  • How did each service assigned to one of the many instances of svchost on startup?

You use Process Explorer frequently, and I noticed that when the pointer is placed on one of the many svchost processes, there are at least twelve bodies. Procexp displays a tip listing the services it supports, the number of items listed for each instance is different between these instances of active significaltly. Manager tasks indicates that the statistics for the active instances vary widely between these instances. I tried to answer this part of the question myself, but I have not find any instanceswithonoy service except fot some where the [Stop] button is not active.

The registry entry for each service can contain a value that specifies the group to which it belongs. The groups are listed in the registry key HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\ServiceGroupOrder.

The Service Control Manager maintains a database of services and services start-up control.

You can change the group to which belongs a service or specify that it runs in its own service host using the sc config command. Forcing service is running in an isolated host can be useful in debugging a problem.

  • My experience and a further debate on "the previous instance is still active.

    Hi, expert,

I came across this problem to my application UI last a day and spent some time in this. The reason of the root, I discovered, is that the code does not call a code specific to one of the close method (last screen), so the following will not be cleaned:

    1. my entire user interface application is put into running store

2 global envent listener for my application Ui

After debugging, I discovered that this is due to the #1.  However on debugging time, I found that this problem is actually very difficult to debug because reproduce is inconsistent. So, even every time, I don't clean my application user interface of the store of my last screen of UI runtime user close, the will of "the previous instance is still active" appear after a certain (it seems to me that I should also leave my open screen for just a little bit time as well). So although I could not reproduce this problem anymore after the method of the last screen you add code to clean up close, I can't say 100% here that I solved the problem.

It would be appreciated if someone would confirm the reproduction behavior of his that I've seen here.

In this position, he also spoke against putting the entire application in the TERM store:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/UiApplication-put-into-RuntimeStore-vs-make-...

I think that I should remove the code to put together Ui App store time anyway.

I also searched the forum, I think the following 2 positions are most useful:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/previous-instance-still-active-issue/TD-p/37...

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/help-with-quot-previous-instance-still-Activ...

In the post, he said that he should be careful with the external auditor. For my purposes of background, I used the earpiece of the phone and found out that he would be called to the phone application. However, other headphones I've used as follows, I haven't not because they are called to external applications (must be in the thread principal current substantive application event)

  • Impact on the Thread.sleep processor

    Hi all

Someone knows what this impact of the Thread.sleep on cpu perfemance BB?

    Thank you

    UDI

Thread.Sleep simply takes the current thread on the Scheduler to send for a certain period of time.

I guess my best answer is that there no direct impact on the performance CPU - CPU runs all the time, at the same speed than it was before.

    Thanks for the help guys.

    I created wlfullclient.jar and added instead wlclient.jar

    1. go to the server/lib directory.

    CD WL_HOME/server/lib

    2. use the following command to create wlfullclient.jar in server/lib directory:

    java-jar wljarbuilder.jar

    3. you can now copy and group wlfullclient.jar with client applications

After that, I got error about not activate remote JDBC. Solution:

    /Oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains/ECMdomain/bin/setDomainEnv.sh

    WLS_JDBC_REMOTE_ENABLED = "-Dweblogic.jdbc.remoteEnabled =true"

After these steps, I waited to succeed =) but once again an error:

    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/sql/BfileDBAccess

Solution: add ojdbc6.jar to the project

Now all the perfect job. I hope that this statement will help someone!

  • create dblink to asm of the RDBMS instance

Have a metric solution on a database that queries all RDBMS instances for different indicators, applications, and administration and reported to the users/admins via apex.

You want to use to report the news datagroup ASM but need a dblink to ASM to run the query of the RDBMS instance, is it possible?   I can check it in EM or run a query on the host itself or the same sqlplus via sysasm connection but would like to do if possible a procedure, but would need a link

You can do that, because a link needs a dictionary of data at the other end to authenticate.

I did it using Java in the RDBMS instance to connect to the instance of the ASM, and then run any query/DML/DDL. I can't give you the (intellectual property) code, but you could contact my employer (details in my profile) to see if he would release it.

I use VirtualBox on Windows 7, I tried several times, first with the OS as Oracle Linux 6, then Oracle Linux 5 (learning to update the version of Java of fun!).

It always happens at the same point, and then it just seems do nothing - no progress, but no error no message on the screen (see below the log files). But it seems to use less than 5%... the use of the processor and 10 hours of waiting makes no difference.

After that I got tons of Google to search, I tried increasing my paging file, adding more memory and disk space (12 GB of RAM and 10 GB sap) and 20 GB of free space on the hard disk, but still nothing has changed.

In post #2 of this thread, I'll give you separately the registration details that I hope will be useful.

    Thanks in advance!

    Darren.

PS: Moderator, I tried to create this thread in other spaces, because I did not know this 'Portal JSK' specific one, which is why my son was rejected? NO REASON WAS GIVEN. If that IS the reason why, I must say that it will be almost impossible for anyone who is able to help me actually FIND this thread here because as I said I don't think specific for ONLY JSK portal. (But I'll post it here just in case this is the reason for previous releases)

    Hey Darren -.

Installation with installation "office" is not the problem - no conflicting package it.

I did add a short and FULL in/etc/hosts domain name and use the HTTP_SERVER_NAME option.  (But again, that shouldn't cause any problems during dbca.)

I didn't install VBox extensions, since I'm just using a text installation (and created a corresponding configuration for VBox and vSphere), but I don't know that this is unrelated to all the.

Regarding packages, if the database installs fine (which did you), your packages may very well.

Here is my kickstart file - maybe you can try to use it, and then we can rule out configuration problems.  After the kickstart, everything I do is copy the installation files (in fact, I have them on a separate vmdk I just ride), and:

    (in oracle)

    CD/mnt/orainst/install & mkdir WCPortal_JSK_Linux.x 86-64 & WCPortal_JSK_Linux.x 86-64 cd & unzip /WCPortal_JSK_Linux.x86-64.zip...

    CD /mnt/orainst/install/WCPortal_JSK_Linux.x86-64 &. / runme DOWNLOAD_DIR = / mnt/orainst/installation INSTALL_DIR = / u01/app/oracle/product/webcenter HTTP_SERVER_NAME = wcportal.localdomain INSTANCE_PASSWORD = weblogic1 BIENVENUE1 = ROOT_PASSWORD

If you want to make a desktop installation, delete the text, skipx and office packages (I added a few comments around that part), and it should work fine.  Don't worry about VBox extensions until you have a JSK running successfully.

Fingers crossed it gets you more... Let me know.
