Is powerful enough to run Creative Suite of MacBook Air?

I have completed about about my Creative Cloud 30 day trial and would sign. However, I am also picking a new macbook to run it. I have not a laptop for the time that I was using my iMac for everything. What I want to know, is the new MacBook Air, which was launched yesterday powerful enough to run Adobe creative applications? A macBook Pro looks the obvious choice that like it's my second computer and I used to use it as much as my iMac I focus mainly on the weight and the price - I wil he uses mainly on a trip a few months each year, but I still need to work efficiently with creative cloud. Can you please specify?

Yes, any MAC that exceeds the 10.6.8 can run creative cloud.

The specification techniques for various applications of SC 6 can be verified here: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tech-specs.html

Hope it will help you decide better. !!

  • Which versions of Adobe Creative Suite my MacBook 1.1 support?

I bought the Production Premium for a new office, but need to install at least Photoshop and Illustrator on my laptop.  It's a MacBook 1.1.  After spending a day installing (including one hour with a technician apparently no idea on the phone), I did what he said and downloaded a trial version (Creative Suite, because I didn't want any other programs and have little place in my memory).  Have downloaded successfully, but then when I tried to open it, I got the message that my MacBook did not support this version.  I can't work without these two programs.  I already uninstalled CS2, which did not support documents created to work (on CS5.5).  Is it possible to update my system or downgrade my backup (5.5, if it works), or do I actually have to buy a new laptop?

or do I actually have to buy a new laptop?

Yes. The first generation of MacBook do not support the required stuff to the most recent versions of Adobe products. A final which might work on your system would be CS4, but 2 obsolete versions and it would not yet for example open InDesign CS5.5 files. And no, there is no way to "downgrade". Adobe (and its resellers registered) only to sell the latest version.

  • Licenses of Creative Suite: Downgrade from Version of Photoshop

We currently have a number of users who are allowed to and running Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard on Mac. As you know, one of the applications that is included as part of this suite is Photoshop CS6. I am told by our designers, that there are some Photoshop CS6 version-specific changes that simply do not work for them and they need to run Photoshop CS5. My question is Adobe allow the decommissioning of only a single application, Photoshop CS5 version if the rest of the suite is CS6? I guess we wouldn't need to buy a license of Photoshop in this scenario, but I know that Adobe can be funny with their licensing rules.

    Thank you!

I talked to our representative of Adobe license and discovered that Adobe allows only the decommissioning of all the creative range, not just a single application, it contains, such as Photoshop. The only way to run Creative Suite 6.0 and Photoshop 5.0 would be to buy a separate license of Photoshop in addition to the Creative Suite license we already have. Just an info in case any who was interested in the answer.

  • Creative Suite 3 Installer error

    Hello.

I'm trying to install Adobe Creative Suite 3.
At the launch of the facility, I encounter this error:

    http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/2986/ojvu.jpg

I have no idea how to get rid of this, Adobe Support Advisor was unable to determine the problem. I tried running Creative Suite Cleaner but after deleting the files and reboot, I always get the question, as it is not allowing me to allow the old files of previous Adobe installs?

Any suggestions on my next course of action?
    I'm on Windows 7 32 bit.

    Grateful for any help.

you will need to check your Setup logs to identify the problem, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html

  • Creative Suite 2 Premium for Mac download problem

I have Creative Suite 2 premium for Mac and have tried to install it and have been directed to http://www.Adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/ to download a version that works. According to installation WHAT PDF there should be 7 files to download, I can only see 5. There seems to be 2 missing files for the premium version, where can I find these please? I was sent to the forums by a member of the team of live chat from Adobe.

Wosseneb41815803 Mac version requires a PowerPC processor.  Modern Mac computers are unable to run Creative Suite 2.

  • "This processor is perhaps not powerful enough" message with WS 6.5 update

I just upgraded to 6.1 (?) to 6.5 and now my VMs give the following message is displayed at startup:

    --------------------------

This processor is perhaps not powerful enough to run VMware Workstation with good performance.  Your estimated processing speed is 105 Mhz.  Refer to http://vmware.com/info?id=4 of the minimum requirements for this product.

    --------------------------

The OS is XP SP3, AMD Athlon XP 64 Dual Core 4400 +

I am aware of the Cool' not easy questions and tried to turn off the feature (via bios) but no change. I also followed the instructions given here: http://vmblog.com/archive/2007/08/24/help-vmware-fixing-time-keeping-problems-with-the-guest-os.aspx

    but again not luck.

These virtual machines ran very well until applying the 6.5 update.

I have attached a log of one of the virtual machines (this happens at a meeting of Arch Linux, but the problem occurs when, for example, XP SP2 as well guest).

I see the .log file that you used the following setting in your config.ini file: host.cpukHz = 4400000.

I do use AMD processors myself, but is it the right value to enter for your particular processor?  I thought that AMD processor names do not necessarily reflect the true values of MHz...  According to this web site ( http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUResult.aspx ), a Athlon x 64 Dual Core 4400 + 2200 MHz to 2300 MHz works.   You might want to try using 2200000 or 2300000 in your file config.ini rather to see if that helps?

Except that I don't know what else to think.  Maybe someone else on the forums has an idea.

  • CS Creative Suite 5 can run on several computers?

I have 5 CS Creative Suite that I run on my desktop and laptop. I know that I can uninstall it from one of them and install the rest on another. In the end, I want to Photoshop CS5 to run on three computers because my daughter is old enough now to help with editing.  What are my options? Y at - it a license should I buy to run all of the suite on a 3rd computer? Would it not cheaper to buy Photoshop CS5 just for his laptop?

    Thank you

    Art

There is no option to simply add a third computer for a license to the standard CS retail.

Really, your license is a license for one person with two computers that are used by a single person and not at the same time. Even if you have only one computer, you would be violating the EULA (End User License Agreement) to install on your computer to girls and to run this software.

In your case, it would probably be better to get your daughter a copy of Photoshop by itself. And you can check if your daughter may be eligible for a student very underestimated or the educational Photoshop version if it is considered as a student (see the Adobe website for more information).

In addition, CS5 is not common. You can only buy Creative Suite CS5.5 now from Adobe.

I have the Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium (CS3) until recently, I was completely unable to make it work on my Mac desktop running Yosemite (2009) 10.10.3 until what I downloaded Java. It worked for about three days until what I tried to open Illustrator / InDesign /Photoshop and I got the error message that says I should contact Adobe because of your activation code. I have the serial code for this creative Suite - but the problem is I bought a box version and I don't have the CD (I emigrated to New Zealand from the United Kingdom leaving - think I wouldn't need it)

I read in a forum that I needed to uninstall and reinstall the programs but when I came to this it prompt you for the CD that I do not have access to. So, what can I do?

  • I have CS5 [was: Creative Suite, Creative Suite 2] on MAC running MAC Mountain Lion. They will work on Yosemite or Elcapitan?

I have CS5 [edit: Creative Suite, Creative Suite 2] on MAC running MAC Mountain Lion. They will work on Yosemite or Elcapitan?

My iMac and Powerbook pro both run processors intel based. The operating system is 10.8.5 Mountain Lion.

Do you mean you're under CS2 on OS X 10.8.5?

It is not possible in a native Mac environment (unless you use the Windows of Parallels or Bootcamp on Mac version)...

CS2 is a PowerPC application designed to run on Mac computers with PowerPC processors. When Apple has switched to processors Intel, Apple briefly provided a translator called "Rosetta" to run the applications on Macs PowerPC to Intel processors.

Rosetta was not understood or supported since OS X 10.7 "Lion". If (including CS2) PowerPC applications does not work on OS X 10.7 go.

2 days ago my MacBookPro disk failed. The computer was 4 years old and running OS x 10.6.8. I was running from Adobe Creative Suite 6 - purchased 07/05/2012 order number DELETED. This command does not appear in my order history and I do not understand why it doesn't work? (And I don't understand why Adobe doesn't have the opportunity to speak to a support person.)

Suggestions or guidelines on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated
