• Problem by dragging photos in a book

  For some odd reason, I can't drag photos in an album in a book project which is almost finished. Dragged photos several times before. What could be the problem? I tried to use the option key and bringing to the top two photos and making them drag, but they will not remain in the book project.

  recently, I can't drag photos in the library module, no more, I have to use the import button and browse to the folder on the hard drive to add them to my lightroom katalogue...

  previuosly it worked by dragging just a folder in the file Explorer in the lightroom library module import, now I just get a crossed circle icon and it work does'nt...

  someone at - it an idea how to solve this?

  What happened to the file management in Lightroom? I have tons of experience using Lightroom (since version 1). I just installed version 6 and the library module is no longer will allow me to drag files from one folder to another. In frustration, I quit Lightroom and moved the files of my Finder, but now Lightroom also won't let me show it where the files and folders have been moved. Is this a bug? You will address them soon, I hope?

  Second, we are not mind readers - you tell us that you installed Lr6, very well. What is your Mac operating system and where you move files to and from.

  Providing detailed information, as this has already been asked will help those of us who are not telepathic to understand exactly what is happening.

• Why Skydrive can't handle drag them and drop folders?

  I can't believe this problem with Skydrive has persisted this long.  I just made an account about a month ago (December 2011), but I'm reading messages 2 years throughout the Internet regarding this problem.

  I have many files.  Files containing things.  Folders in the folders.

  Records represent content organization.  Reminder.  Browse.  That almost as important as the content itself.

  The suggestion?  SkyDrive, hand - create the bazillion of files I have on my hard drive and then hand - fill each SkyDrive folder with the items I want to back up.

  WHY offer this utility to the public when such a need to basis has not been addressed?

  I don't think that there will never be such a system.  From an architectural point of view, the computers do not know the difference between files and folders.  Technically, a folder is a file.  And as by clicking on a file, film or photo has different actions, the files are just files and their action is to show the other files.

  When you drag-and - drop a file, the web browser sees it as just another file, he can't see what files are 'in' this folder, because technically, no files are actually in it.
  That's why each backup, synchronization, or service requires a file-sharing program to be installed on the computer, a program that is able to look inside files and to determine how to handle the content.  The web just can't do this without a request for assistance.
  As I said, the Windows Live Sync program is indeed such help, and it can synchronize your folders (and all inside of them) on your SkyDrive for you.  Just to get the program to http://get.live.com and tell him what file (s) to download.

• Why can't just drag photos on my desktop with Sierra 10.12 and Photos 2.0?

  By dragging from the photo browser to the computer desktop still works for me.  As soon as I drag to an empty space on the desktop the pointer turns into a green '+' and I can put the photo.

  If it does not work for you, there could be something problematic about the photos you want to drag.  Photos can be edited or exported? What is the file type of the photos you are trying to drag-and - drop?

  Using iCloud photo library? You have iCloud allowed to sync your desktop and Documents folder with iCloud?

• SkyDrive displays blank thumbnails of photos. No problem in IE8

  Uploaded many photos on Skydrive. When I go into my Hotmail account I can't display an any of them - filenames are displayed, but not thumbnails. If I do the same thing with IE8, they appear without problem. Seems to be a FF issue but have tried all obvious checks on parameters etc.

  Hi Al,.

  Please make sure that you have added to the library of Essential Photosmart photo folder location. If you are not sure if it is added to the library, click on the "Import" button on the left side of the library, then select 'folder '.... ' to add the folder to the library. Once the folder is added to the library, Janie steps above should work.

  If they still do not work, here are a few other options to try.

  Option 1:
  Right click on the photo in the HP Photosmart Essential 2.5 Library and select 'create a duplicate... '. ». This will make a copy of the photo and save it on your desktop (or anywhere on your computer).

  Option 2:
  Right click on the photo in the HP Photosmart Essential 2.5 Library and select 'display image information... '. ». Click on the button 'Locate', and a Windows Explorer window opens to the photo on your computer. In Windows Explorer, right click on the photo and select 'copy '. On your desktop, right-click on the background and select 'paste '.

• SkyDrive has hunted with my photos?

  I can't get the photo to my e-mail attachments were sent to appear in the Windows Live Photo Gallery or my Kodak EasyShare so I can print them. I used to be able to do that without any problem, but it doesn't happen again.  I have a hunch this new SkyDrive is the problem, but I can't understand what this is all about.
