  Just curious, is there a control of the expression that allows a user to enter a string that could be read by the expression?  I don't see on the submenu Sub "> Effects options for expressions", but thought I would see if anyone has any ideas how to proceed without having to reference an external text file.

  Yes, it's possible, of course, and to make things even less intrusive, I couldn't access comment a layer attribute rather than rename them the current layer.

  But in my situation I am desirous of an AE to select artist in a closed set of channels.  I don't want to enter their own data for fear that there is something wrong with the formatting, etc.  I'd rather have a drop down of sorts for the selection.  Thus, creating null items in the project Panel, naming them with unique names, then dragging in the model and by applying an expression control 'Control of the layer' layer in quesiton, AE artist can choose one of these layers, and then my script can read the value of the control layer name.

  I use the COM adapter to interface with TestComplete.

  My current setup is that I have a Master file of sequence that contains two sequence files (one for each trial).

  The individual called movie file have 4 steps as indicated:

  Get property: Create the new object

  Calling a method to open project

  Call the method to run the test, and then pass the parameter in TestComplete

  Get the result of the property

  My problem is that if I want to spend a different setting in the step to call the method to run the test , I have to create another sequence file to do this.

  Is there a way to create one Type of step to call the method, run the test and pass parameter to TestComplete?  and how will this affect the other steps in this sequence file (for example to create new object, open a project, Get property resut)?

  I have Windows xp and I have sound problems and I get answers as no card available and or no active mixer device. I read some outings. I'll problably do a full restore. But there's the right driver for the Realtek sound card.  I went from the top of the files down, checking the drivers and to see if there were those that could be updated. I have found only one and he said that all the rest are the best and all performed correctly.  I have sound if I play dvd but the only control I have is the speaker controls.  The icon in the task bar disappeared and my sound more of the keyboard are inopertive to.

  You most likely corruption sndvol32.exe, which is what allows access to the sound engineer and other sound controls in Windows. The solution is to restore from restoring your system. Following the steps in this tutorial on the way to install Windows Volume control should solve the problem and restore the normal functioning of your sound on your computer. The only thing to watch is to make sure you know which drive is actually the restore disc, because that can vary from the procedure described in the tutorial.

  I have try the DSC module to connect with a temperature module, but this, does not meet the MODBUS registers addresses, for example to read the temperature, I should ask a 0 x 03 at address 1001.

  

  But for DSC for a request of 0x03, it expects to addresses like 4000, so since 1000 addresses belongs to coils, SDC makes a request of 0x01

  

  My thermometer has even coils register.

  The problem is I want the jsps to compile with a java compiler 1.4 - unfortunately, I have to start my eclipse with a vm of java 1.5 (or higher) and the * < wlappc > * task seems to adopt this setting so the JSPS obtain precompiled with a greater than 1.4 java compiler. Later, during the deployment and execution of the application, I get several NoClassDefFoundErrors (StringBuilder) in the JSP pages because when the string concatenation using StringBuilder you will get an error in java 1.4 (the class was introduced in java 1.5).

  The text on this page, I've specified in Dreamweaver 12 pixels and it seems correct in the chart view in Dreamweaver, but in Safari, on the web, it is much more. I think that text cannot go so small on the internet in HTML and make it smaller, it must be 'frozen' in a chart of the image where it is no longer text but an image. Is this true? Is there a way to get the text to display in 12 pixels online as if it were in Dreamweaver?

  PS: Weird line breaks are because I made the line breaks by using shift + return that makes the text look perfect in Dreamweaver to text 12 pixel size, but because it shows more in the real world of the web posting, line breaks are messy.

  You can not.  Line breaks, spaces and paragraphs empty are not a feature of page layout and should never be used as one.

  Use headings, paragraphs and lists and let it go at that.

  My guess, it's that I need to do a print screen of type in the correct format and then insert it into the page as an image.

  If you do this, you will be yourself shoot yourself in the foot.  The page contains images of text that can be indexed, searched, or translated by web helping devices.  More important still, the images in the text are often pixelated and difficult to read by sighted people with perfect vision.

  12px fonts are too small to read on high-resolution screens.  16px and especially by default is located in most browsers these days.

  On other tables, how to decide if you should use the range/list/hash partitioning on our tables.
  
  Do I need to recreate indexes for the tables after you create the partition tables.

  Partitioning of decisions are based on how you can access data.

  If you access date then partition by date.
  If you go through a list of values and then use the list.
  If you there is no model and you just need to break the data up into smaller compartments using hash.

  I don't see why, based on what you wrote, partitioning by date range would be not worthy of consideration.
