Photoshop Elements 9?

I actually prefer to get Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3, because this product seems to be more powerful.  Did anyone here know if Lightroom 3 has a watercolor filter as well?

Thank you!

Although I suppose it depends on your definition of a watercolor filter and the effect you want,

Photoshop elements 9 has a watercolor filter and many more.

Without knowing what kind of pictures or changes that your dad loves to do, it's hard to say

What is best for him, but it seems that photoshop elements 9 can be a good choice.

Lightroom is not a watercolor filter.

A watercolor filter is available for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

My father want for Christmas photo editing software and its only requirement is that it has a color of the water filter.  Personally, I'd rather him get Lightroom 3 on other products, because she seems to have a lot more versatility for real high-quality photo editing, but I don't know if a water color filter is available for this product.

  • Attribute filter incorrect filter elements

    Hi all

I had this problem using the attribute filter, and I don't know if it's because I'm using the tool incorrectly or simply a bug in FrameMaker (but I suspect the former).

Basically, I import an XML document into FM that looks like this:

    < root >

    < elem1 / >

    < elem2 attr = "true" / >

    < elem3 attr = "false" / >

    < elem4 attr = "true" / >

    < / root >

And then I use a filter attribute to apply a condition (let's call it "Changed") to all elements which have attr = 'true' by using the expression: (attr = "true")and another condition ("Unchanged") to those with attr = "false" using the expression: (attr = 'false')

However, the results I get are exactly the opposite! (attr = 'true') applied the condition of "Changed" to all the elements that have the attr = 'false', and (attr = 'false') apply the "Unchanged" status to those with attr = 'true '.

If someone could get an idea about why this happens, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you

    Carl

    Carl,

You're not the only user who find filter by attribute is counterintuitive. The underlying model seems to assume you want to keep the content to an expression and filter the content that does not match. However, the only items that are put to the test to see if they match are those with values, explicit or default, for all attributes mentioned in the expression.

Thus, it seems that filtered text are made up of elements that have explicit or defaulted, values for all attributes which appear in the applied expression but which do NOT match this expression. Therefore, if you want to apply the condition Changed to items with the value 'true' attr, use the expression NOT(attr="true"). to apply the condition Unchanged, use the expression NOT(attr="false"). To apply one or the other condition to each element that defines this attribute, apply the two expressions.

If no default value for attr is assigned on the FM band (independently), or expression will apply a condition on an element that does not define the attribute. If there is a default value, the default value will determine how the elements that do not define the attribute are treated.

If you change the setting of the attribute, reapply the expressions, checking remove it if previously applied box.

  • Apart from the scope, is there an advantage between elements of application elements of page zero vs?

It's the kind of best practices of the question type.

I understand, the application parts are available throughout the app Page zero points will be available on the pages where page zero is used. But there are basically the same.

So, outside of the scope, is there an advantage to using application elements vs zero page elements for items that will be used on most of the pages? My use is I have these reference values of almost all the pages and there are some pages that will change the value of this variable. They are not constant.

    Thank you!

Do you need constants then?  IK them would define as page 0 items that are hidden and cannot be changed otherwise then I would use elements of application to a minimum.  For the most part, I also do not recommend 0 page elements, because they are not passed in and out of shape but are only accessible...

In a perfect system, you pass in a page, what suits him and, according to the elements of the application and page elements 0 is dangerous in my mind...

  • Is there a bilateral filter existing library?

    Hello

I am looking for a method of convolution preserves edge written in AS3, but it's really difficult to find one.

Bilateral filter is one of the most popular product of convolution edge where are kept.

Any of you have seen a bilateral filter library written in AS3?

If not, can you tell me an image processing library good opensource as OpenCV in flash, if there is none?

    Thank you

I know this isn't quite an answer on your question but a little while back, I did an edge detection decent speed using this library (AS3 version (slow) and a (quick) PixelBender available, but old version): http://blog.inspirit.ru/?p=297

I don't know there's a little more out there but he detected edges very well when I used it. With this, you can simply make a mask. Then all you need to duplicate the image, blur the background image and use your gradient mask generated to multiply the original image on the image blurred to show the original sharper edges.

If you find a library, please share it!

  • decimation (decimation.vi there a pass filter down?)

    Hello

I have a question about the decimation (decimation (continuous) .vi) function in labview. Has a low pass filter to take care of the aliasing, if so it's a zero-phase filter. Basically, I'm looking for something that can decimate 20 kHz signals sampled at 5 kHz.

    Thank you

Depends on your version of LabVIEW and installed toolboxes.

The Digital Filter Design Toolkit has a decimation VI which includes an AA LP filter.  Open the help of LabVIEW and search "decimation" and "filter" to see what tools are available.

  • LR appears in the library photos for 18 of 22 raw images.  There is no filter device.  Why the other four do not appear?

I've been editing photos, working with virtual copies of a raw file.  Now the original raw or poster file or appear in a search of LR in the name of the file.  It is located in the directory.  It has not been deleted catalog because when I tried to import them, it shows has already been imported.  I don't know what happened or how to remedy the situation.
    Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Follow these 4 steps in order

    1. In the library Module, on the left in the catalog Panel, click "all photos".
    2. Disable all filters (ctrl-L or cmd - L once or twice)
    3. Develop all batteries (picture-> stacking-> develop all batteries)
    4. Use the filter bar to search for these photos by file name

Probably you meant 'filtered' rather than 'sort '?

I tried to replace the code in the default selection list and it did not work. There must be another code, check the filter.

In the Group APEX 5.0 calendar application, the filter is implemented in line 20 of the schedule area source query:

    select e.event_id,
case when et.display_color is not null then
                'apex-cal-'||
                (select lower(cp.color_name) from eba_ca_color_prefs cp where cp.bg_color = et.display_color)
          end css_class,
          e.event_name,
          case when e.display_time = 'N'
                then trunc(e.event_date_time)
                else e.event_date_time
                end event_date_time,
          to_char(e.event_date_time,v('APP_TIME_FORMAT')) disp_time,
          substr (
          case when to_char(e.event_date_time,'MI') = '00' then
                ltrim(to_char(e.event_date_time,'HHam'),'0')
            else
                ltrim(to_char(e.event_date_time,'HH:MIam'),'0')
            end|| ' '||e.event_name,1,255) disp_col
      from EBA_ca_events e,
          EBA_ca_event_types et
    where (:P1_EVENT_TYPE = e.type_id or :P1_EVENT_TYPE is null)
      and e.type_id = et.type_id (+)

with P1_EVENT_TYPE being included in the property of the region and by using the action Elements of the Page to send dynamic update schedule to trigger a refresh of partial page in the calendar area.

How can I add my own list of selection and filter calendar events based on that select list option is selected?

1 create your filter as a copy the item P1_EVENT_TYPE item.

    2. replace the LOV definition by the code you need.

    3. Add the necessary filter predicate in the WHERE clause of the query source region.

    4. Add the name of your filter element to the region of the Items property of the Page to send.

    5. Add the name of your item to the Items property in the when section of action Dynamics to update the calendar .

  • Adding filter "All" online dashboard Obiee 11g

    Hi all

    I use ver 11.1.1.5

My requirement is to see all the data in the dashboard guest like it should be another element of its 'ALL' that returns all of the data.

    Example:
There is a filter to dashboard on a field type (as: value1, value2), our customers want to see the data on the filter (like: ALL, value1, value2) will filter the boat Value1and value2.

    Please explain with steps.

    Hello

If your guest, entry user's choice/radio button list/box / list box select... after "includes all values in the column"... you should get 'All the values of the column' in the command prompt.

    Hello

Let me assure you that I understand.
Last time, we were looking for the PO_NUMBERs who have been partially put into correspondence , i.e. groups of rows in the order table with the same po_number, which some had corresponding lines in the table Bill, and some of whom have not. It was essential that there is at least 1 line and 1 row without connections with the same purchase order.
Now that you are interested SUPPLIER_INVOICE_NOs who are partially paired, i.e. groups of rows in the table of po with the same po_number and supplier_invoice_no, some of which have corresponding lines in the invoice table, and some are not. ("Supplier_Invoice_No" is quite a mouthful. "We'll abbreviate as sin in the future.) However, the final selection is based on po_numbers: If a po_number has partially matched sins, then we are interested all po_number. For example, the result set must include = 529132260 SIN, even if that sin is completely, because there is a partially matching sin (529137831) with the same po_number (P0142245).

As this problem revolves around partially matching sins, let's call them Cardinal sins . We can calculate match_cnt and total_cnt based NAS as well as po_number. Then, we can use another analytic function so see if the po_number has all cardinal_sins, like this:

    WITH joined_data AS
    (
         SELECT i.farinvc_invh_code
         , p.supplier_number
         , p.supplier_invoice_no
         , i.farinvc_item
         , i.farinvc_po
         , p.po_number
         , p.run_date
         , p.po_line_number
         , COUNT (i.farinvc_po) OVER ( PARTITION BY p.po_number
                                            , p.supplier_invoice_no
                               ) AS match_cnt
         , COUNT (*) OVER ( PARTITION BY p.po_number
                                            , p.supplier_invoice_no

                                      AND i.farinvc_item = p.po_line_number
    )
    , got_cardinal_sin_cnt AS
    (
         SELECT joined_data.*
         , SUM ( CASE
                        WHEN  match_cnt  >= 1

                  ) OVER (PARTITION BY po_number) AS cardinal_sin_cnt

  • 'All' filter in the dashboard Obiee 11 g

    Hi all

My customer's requirement is to see all data in the guest dashboard like it should be another element of its 'ALL' that returns all of the data.

    Example:
There is a filter to dashboard on CustomerType (as: GOLD, SILVER), our customers want to see the data on the filter (like: ALL, GOLD, SILVER) ALL will filter the boat GOLD and SILVER.

-I think that its very common, but I can't make OBIEE.

    HI oraclezia,

Go to your prompt and change need you option is the choice. You can check all option and save the prompt.

Then you can see all of the data according to your guest column.

Allocation of points, it is useful.

    Thank you
    Satya
