  (1) it is a technical question. Please move to a technical forum (database - general would seem appropriate).

  (2) when you post the question a technical Forum, I could explain the problem you are experiencing and ask not crack the password. Requests to crack passwords are likely to lead people to assume that you're up to no good. And the password in your case of cracking won't be necessary. What you need is to use OS authentication to connect without a password Oracle. Display the operating system that you are using will be useful for the correct instructions for this task.

  .. .the links will be fine but the absolute links will break.  Before the site is moved to the field of archives, is it possible for me in Dreamweaver to run a link check and convert all absolute links to relative?

  If so, is there a way to do it on the server rather than the local copy of the site?  The reason why is because I don't have the entire site on my local computer.  I download only the pages that I need to edit locally, and then put back them on the server.

A problem that has bothered me for years lies in the fact that when Firefox is open and I change my audio output device by default, Firefox does not respect this change and continues to play audio through the device that was used to originally.   I run FireFox (FF) for years and love. I'm running FF 3.6.18 am thought and upgrade to FF4. However, a friend upgraded to FF4 and I notice that the tabs for different pages are very high on the screen, away from the pages concerned, instead of just at the top of the page being displayed, where they are more easily found and used. Having the tabs at the top is really annoying and it is a change that should never have been done.

  My question is this: is there a way to FF4 I can change this so I can have the tabs just above the pages, as in FF3.6.18?

  Yes! Click the new tab button ("+") or a blank space after the last tab and uncheck tabs on top in the context menu.

  If the tabs on top does not appear there, you can use the view menu:

  Menu view > toolbars > uncheck tabs on top

  If you have the Firefox orange (abbreviated menus) button, press the ALT key, or press F10 to display the classic menu bar to join the view menu.

  My computer crashed so I had to use my recovery disks that are about 8-10 years. When I reinstalled Windows service pack 2, the system recovery tools and several other microsoft tools not have installed on my system. Is it possible to recover these tools? The command prompt tells me that they are not on my system and get help from the Server Manager in the service (Net HelpMSG 2185) option. Can you tell me what that means and if/how I can do this?  I can't find a tab from the system restore on my computer. I guess that's because I have more access to these tools. My messages when I try to update things like Windows Media Player tells me that I can't set a date of restoration and that if I lose my installed programs that they can not be recovered. Guess that means I have to use my recovery again disks?
