  Personally, I find these very annoying transitions. The first thing I do after installation of Captivate is open Style of the object manager before opening a project and I have change all these transitions to the default object to the Transitions of No styles. Once this is done, I am rid of them for all future projects. With your way of working (apply the style to all similar objects in the project), you need to repeat for each project and each type of object.
