Is there a way to plug a 2333HD Samsung SyncMaster to Windows 7 computer?

I have a HP Pavilion p6140f and a Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD. I use the SyncMaster as a 16:9 screen to my computer using the DVI standard. I have considered buying a tuner TV to my desktop PC, but thought it might be another solution. Is it possible to run the HDMI or DVI - D from the SyncMaster to a USB port in my computer? Do I have to buy a Hauppauge (or something like type of tuner and run in my computer) and install this software?

In addition, all sites that you would suggest to review the TV Tuners? C-Net comments are quite obsolete (at most from 2006).

Thank you
Sam

Your computer must have an output port that matches one of the input ports on your Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD.

I think that it has a built-in tv tuner.
The Site of Information of Tuner HDTV is an excellent site for associated review or here: -.

  • Is there a way to make an EXE LabVIEW built on Windows XP on Windows 7?

I have a request that I build (LabVIEW 8.6) on Windows XP, that installs and works fine on other XP machines.  However, after installing it on a Windows 7 computer, I get an error stating that "The procedure entry point CsrNewThread could not be found in the dynamic link library ntdll.dll".  When I look at ntdll.dll (in C:\Windows\System32) with a tool dependency walker on XP, I see the CsrNewThread function listed, but its function is missing from the same DLL named on Windows 7.  So I guess that somewhere along the evolutionary line Windows this function has been removed from ntdll.dll.  My first instinct was to try overwirting ntdll.dll on the Windows 7 machine with one copied from my Windows XP computer.  However, our system administrator only gave me permission to replace this file on the Windows 7 machine.  I could ask him to give me this permission, but I'm not sure it's the best way to go anyway because the other programs in Windows 7 can use ntdll.dll.  I tried to copy the WIndows XP version of ntdll.dll in the local folder on the Windows 7 machine containing my LabVIEW application, but this has not fixed the problem.  And when I look at my application in the dependency walker tool, I see that he is always looking in the ntdll.dll file in the WIndows\System32 folder and not in my local folder.  Yes, is there a way to make an EXE LabVIEW built on Windows XP on Windows 7?  Or I have to do a version for Windows XP and one for Windows 7?  Still, I am using LabVIEW 8.6.

    Thank you

Keep in mind that LabVIEW 8.6 is not officially supported under Windows 7.  You may want to consider switching to less than LV2009.

    Hello aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,.

At this time, Microsoft does not offer this feature.  It would be interesting to see this technology, but as Pegasus has pointed out, everyone would be able to hear your password.  Or if the operating system could make you read a sentence and could confirm your voice.

Take a look at "get system directory". In particular, use the entry "application files. See if it meets your needs.

recently I had washed my second rocket (grrrr) and decided that I would try to repair it with parts from my old that works fine until I realized the two ribbons have been decimated by the time I was fixing broken items and now everything works fine except the Center and the wheel button.

as is a side note that randomly, I was able to listen to all the songs when I turned on once but could never again possible to play without using the buttons in the Center

I don't think it would be serious. the answer you are looking for is no, there is no way to control the functions of the player from the computer.

I have a BB 8830 World Edition.  They is some way I can download my text messages received to my computer.  If so, how?  Thank you

To backup/store your messages using the Blackberry Desktop Manager software.

    1. Connect your device to the computer.
    2. Run the Blackberry Desktop Manager
    3. Select the "Backup and restore" icon on the application window
    4. Click on the "Advanced" button and select the information that must be kept.

When the backup is complete - there is a file *.ipd on your computer created. It contains all the necessary information.

At the moment there is no such standard application to read messages stored on computer PC.

Try to find third-party applications for it.

  • How to decide which updates to accept? Is there a way to uninstall an update if it turns off the computer?

Windows 7 updated 1 week ago disabled certain functions.  Could not get the printer to work until I had spent more than a half-hour in line with HP technical support.   He has kindly changed my settings so that updates do not load automatically.  Now have the message there is new update.  How decide whether or not it is safe to accept it?  If it screws to the top of the computer, can I uninstall it?  Should I just ignore the updates and keep the computer that works not changed?  I am a 70 year old doctor and do not spend days trying to fix the problems with this computer.

    Hi lagodasailing,

I understand that you would like to know how to find out if it is safe to install an update or not and if there is an option to uninstall or cancel the installation of this particular update when they create a mess in your computer.

First of all, I recommend you to continue the installation of any Windows Update, you are prompted to install. Windows updates are developed to close open ports, where a malicious user could get in your computer system.

If an unlikely result occurs after you install the update, you can perform system restore to return the system to its previous working state back. If it is not-so-good result is caused of the newly installed updates more than 1, it is recommended to try to install the updates one at a time to separate or to know that it really caused the problem and after that the results back here so we could help more you or give you advice.

  • Is there a way to change the video settings before reinstalling windows?

I have a screan broken on my laptop, but due to a problem with the BITS and other services associated with windows update.  Is it possible to put BACKS to send videos to my S-Video output and keep it this way when performing the clean install?

    Hello

Are you able to nothing appears on the screen?

When you perform a clean install, all your files, settings, and programs will be erased.  You cannot send video files to the S video output via a command prompt. You can
try to copy the files and send them to an external hard drive using the command prompt.

    See this link for help:

You can apply the same procedure to copy the video files on an external hard drive.

    Hi Kazim,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

In addition, I really appreciate your efforts by providing descriptive information on the issue. However, I would like to know some more information to refine the question and provide you with better assistance.

    1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
    2. The problem is specific to the built-in weather app?
    3. Do you use a proxy connection to connect to the internet?
    4. You have security software installed on your computer?

The question may arise if there is a corruption in the specific application, due to internet connection proxy, date and time incorrect or due to one-third of the anti-virus firewall is blocking the connection. Therefore, in order to diagnose and resolve the issue, I suggest you to try the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Please go to the link below, download the file and run it.

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 2:

I suggest you try the steps mentioned below and see if it works for you.

    Step 1:

Ensure that User Account Control (UAC) is enabled. Press the Windows key and from the splash screen, type "UAC" and on the right, select settings.
Select change user account control settings and check here.

    Step 2:

Check that the Date & time zone is correct or not:

Follow these steps to change the time.

    1. Double-click the current time on the lower right of your screen.
    2. Then click on change time date, and then click change time zone.
    3. Select your time zone and check automatically adjust the clock for the time, then press OK.
    4. Then press on apply and OK.

    Method 3:

If you got in third-party antivirus installed on your computer, I suggest you temporarilydisable it. The third of the anti-virus firewall sometimes became a major cause of the issue.

If the problem does not occur after you turn off the anti-virus, try reinstalling the anti-virus.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attack.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.
