  You can try to go to System Preferences/iCloud and checking Mail synchronization. If this does not work, go to Finder and select your user folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Select Library/Mail/V2/MailData and copy this folder on the portable computer.

  Here is something you can try:

  With your file open and assuming that he has all the settings of bookmarks:

  Simply export as HTML (file > export > HTML > I chose HTML 3.2). This should create a HTML file.

  Open the new HTML file and the first thing you see is a list of all bookmarks!

  Unfortunately there is no function to copy and paste your calendar events.

  When you create your event, under how often, you can define the event in the daily, weekly, monthly, etc...

  If the option you are looking for is not available, you can configure your calendar via IE, and it syncs with your calendar application.
