• How to install the SSD for Inspiron 14 3452?

  Hello - I think I'm over my head here. I just bought the laptop 3452 Inspiron 14 model with 32GB of HDD MEM. I opened the back of the box, thinking it would be relatively easy to install a SOLID-STATE drive. However, I see is an empty slot for the HARD disk with no pins for the SSD to enter. Don't know if there is anything else I need to open? I could not find instructional videos and am afraid to do great thing with this. Please help, of course I am a novice when it comes to these things. I already used a SSD drive as external storage solution, but wanted to install this time around within the laptop.

  I am amazed how little information there is on the web about this: I bought this machine for the use of the lamp from my laptop main goes through a process of repair.

  I saw this on the black that deals Friday for 160 taxes included and made the big jump... I thought: I will modernize the HARD drive with a 250 GB drive I have lying around and I bump the ram to 4 GB.

  To my surprise:

  There are 1... Yes a SINGLE SLOT of RAM. and there is an opening for the HARD drive but no cable. After further review, I came to the conclusion that it is indeed not possible or viable to improve the storage on this machine. Yes, I stripped the computer down to his mother, and it's like they took the entrails of a 10 windows Tablet and put them on a laptop cover.

  So, I had a few spare parts lying around and I got a 8 GB SO DIMM that I decided to try:

  Worse: the bios bump the RAM up to 4 GB as his as he goes.

  2. - are subject to the creator of windows media (internet) and install a windows own 10. too much bloatware installed on this humble machine.

  3 - buy a card SD 64 and install apps in there.

  and there you go here! a laptop USD 160 with an upgrade of the 30 dollar DIMMs and one card 64 GB sd to work its magic.

  Microsoft has lost it completely. Not even Vista could poison me but Windows 8 and beyond seems to be out of tangents which will take users on the roads better not fly.  I think that my experience today has convinced me to migrate to Linux completely.  For the record, this humble Dell little performs rather well on different distributions of Linux, such as Zorin, mint XFCe 15, mint 15 MATE 64 - bit, mint cinnamon 15 (and I did look like a Mac) as well as PearOS.  All material work rather well, there is no compatibility issues, it is extremely robust and stable, but also very safe to use. Some reason that Linux is virtually free of viruses because of a much smaller basic installation.  Truth is that security lies in its operation; It would be just as safe even if all 7 billion have been using it.

  Dell comes with Ubuntu on some models, even on Alienware and I can certainly recommend. The learning curve is there and noobs need to learn new tricks, but the same can be said for MS Windows and MS Office.  Best of all is that every piece of software comes free and updates are also free.  The upgrade or installation is as easy as check a box and a click of the mouse.  It installs seamlessly and rarely do we need a reboot.

  My Linux does not use never more than 1 GB of RAM and it starts in less than 180 MB!

  I'm trying to publish a 75-page booklet using an educational version of InDesign version 3.1. Is it still possible with this humble version? What is the best way to implement the pages? Previous books have been produced using PageMaker 7, but there are always problems when he was sent to the printing industry, a situation which I try to avoid this year using InDesign.   It's exactly what I mean.

  Exit pages (imposing) is the work of the person who made the exit. Only, they are able to know how they want to adjust it to their equipment. If you do for them, and you do it wrong, the best case they will spend a lot of time to fix things (for which they will charge you), or the worst case, it's that they can't use your file at all.

  I spent half a day trying to figure out what CPU of is to apply to my database. I know that JAN2009CPU is the terminal of the CPU for this platform/version yet I see April, July and October CPU when looking for patches and updates on my support. Can someone enlighten please this humble soul?

• The pop-up Mozilla Humble Bundle is a scam? Never seen before today.

  I saw a strange pop-up today when I connected to my computer and loaded up Firefox. It was relative to the usual sign / search page. It transforms the login page typical for a chart of the 1980s style and has a character of research blockish telling me to "click here". It looks like a fraud and my being a virus, but want to know for sure. Mozilla sends this and promote a kind of "Humble bundle" of the game software?

  It is only useful when using multi byte character set for your database. Characterset bytes multi means that the database stores a character several bytes. It can use 2-4 bytes, and it can be vary even within a single character set. I mean for example that al32utf8 can store an English character in one byte so that it can store a Chinese tank in 4 bytes only.

  VARCHAR2(10 Char) means that you set the maximum length of your column in characters, regardless of the number of bytes needed to store them.

  Yes mainly. but for other characters multibyte defined

  You can use one, but you can change the value in your sessions. and you can combine definitions of length of CHAR and BYTES column in a table.

• Why won't this script work?

  Well so yesterday I posted a question I had with join InDesign files, I thought that I had found a solution and I was wrong. Nothing is as humbling as script... anyway the gist of what I'm trying to do is trying to combine a lot of InDesign files in a single large document. The problem I encounter is that InDesign crashes. What is strange to me is that a single iteration of this script works oddly, however when I try to do with multiple InDesign files * the bed.

  Any help on the figure, it would be much appreciated.

  Indy Version: CS5

  (1) selecting a folder.

  (2) get the files.

  (3) open one at a time, and duplicate pages in another document. (Which I call OCD because I basically that is what I want to do with the giant document.)

  (4) close the source file without saving the changes. Pages should not change, but better safe than sorry.

  (5) close the (TOC) destination file and save it with the new pages to this subject.

  Couple of thoughts: the code is kind of a mess. I don't understand why you are opening and closing of your doc of destination with each iteration, or why you have stuff separated in another function, or why you have not any vars. As a general rule, I try to work on spreads rather than pages where possible. I avoid also itemByRange() because of the strange plural object that it returns. Here's one (in my opinion, in any case) cleaned script:
