    If you want a WP site, using Wordpress and see their API and guides for creating themes and customizations. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Muse. You simply cannot just create a site of Muse and hope that it will work with WP.

  • astrophotography. I want to know that the focal length is to determine the field of vision?

    I'm interested in astrophotography.  I want to buy a camera for my telescope.  You can find the field of vision, if you know the focal length of the telescope.  But what is the focal length of a camera with a fixed lens?  If I have a 50 mm lens, is the focal distance 50 mm? or do you need to know the distance from the camera of body image sensor and add it to the lens focal length?  Thanks in advance...

    If you have a 50mm... lens focal length.  The focal length is the distance between the end of the lens and the image plane.  If you look at a digital SLR, there is a symbol on the body (usually the top of the body and often near the viewfinder) that looks like a small circle with a line through IT... which line marks the position of the focal plane inside the camera.

    There is a friction more... If you have a 'simple' goal, it would be the focal length.  Many modern lenses are technically able to be physically shorter than the focal length they provide... because of the types of 'glass' and the configuration of optics.  So the focal length is based on how long a simple goal should be to provide that same value (even if you were to physically measure it and not get this value.)

    All telescopes list their focal lengths, but also among the specs of the telescope focal reports.  I have a refractor of 540mm with an opening of 101mm... so it is 'roughly' f/5.4 scope.  I have also a larger 14 "SCT with a focal length of 3556mm and it is a stretch of f/10.

    The distance "flange to focal plane" on a camera Canon is 44 mm... in the grand scheme of things with a telescope, it will not substantially change the focal length of the image.

    Depending on the scope, you can use either a "focal reducer" or a "barlow" to decrease or increase the focal length.

    One last thing... many designs of 'Newtonian' type telescope is problematic for astrophotography.  This is because most of the glasses and catadioptric telescopes are designed with the intention that a person would use a diagonal of 90º with their eyepiece.  "The diagonal has a tendency to add"roughly"2" to the overal of the focal path length.  If you are using a camera you take this "diagonal" and simply attach the camera for a shot "straight through".  So even if you have lost the focal length 2 ", created by the diagonal... the camera adds"roughly"the same amount of back in.

    BUT... When you use a Newtonian telescope of reflector design, the eyepiece is near the front and there is no "diagonal" in use.  This means that when you add a camera, focal length gets longer, it would be with an eyepiece.    Pull door-eyepiece tube has some development trips... but because the camera is the longest focal length, you end up having to run the focuser completely 'in' to shorten the length of the focal length to put the image in focus.  And that's where you are having problems... very often on a Newtonian telescope, you exceed the limit of traction of focuser (you can't shorten the development any more that you have) and the image was just starting to focus... but it's still pretty fuzzy.

    This problem not to poison all the reflectors of knighting... some can accommodate cameras and still come to focus.  You really check the specific scope.

  • Lot: Open Bridge "Stacks" in the form of layers in PS CS5 + run action. Is this possible with script?

    A couple of days, I posted this topic - I did not know this forum/group so the thread is displayed in Photoshop scripts and windows of the bridge. I did find a solution on these forums - can help any person here?

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/880777?TSTART=0

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/880779?TSTART=0

    I would like to automate a part of my job, which is to open the images superimposed (in Bridge CS5) in the form of layers in Ps CS5 and performs a PS action than the layers of composites and processes the image. Something similar to 'Process Collection' in Bridge CS5 only with my own action instead of merging HDR/panorama.

    Apparently, it's possible with Mac "Automator" - I can do in Windows? I have no experience with writing scripts, but have friends who can help. Can someone tell me if its possible and point me in the right direction please?

    This must be a batch process. I know how to open images in layers of the bridge so that I can manually run action PS - I deal with automatically batches of images in this same way.

    To clarify, if possible script must

    (1) find the first battery (in bridge [in the selected folder])

    2) open as layers in PS

    (3) run PS action

    (4) save and close (like psd retaining layers)

    (5) find battery new bridge (selected folder) and try again.

    I mean by "stack", a set of similar files (for example same scene-2 EV, 0EV, + 2 EV)

    Function 'Collection of process' of the bridge is great because it recognizes very skillfully similar images (I think that you first need to stack them) opens to them and either treated in a hdr or panoramic image. Instead or hdr or pano, wouldn't be great if you can run your own action.

    The bridge Image Processor is fantastic to open a package of individual files and run your own action of treatment, but it will not be open to groups of images ("Stacks" or sets) in the form of layers.

    What I need, is essentially a hybrid of the two.

    In case missed you my end added in the other thread, you can watch the auto collection script that comes with the bridge and use it as a basis for what you want to do. You can also to the controller of the creation of your batteries if their timestamps are nearby. Overnight Auto Collection Script now performs two types of battery HDR and Panoramas.  You may be able to modify it to a third type of battery. You stack type and use your stack of transformation of the process instead of mearge of HDR or PhotoMerge.

    The help of Bridge:

    The script Auto Collection CS5 from Adobe Bridge assembles sets of images into piles for treatment as a high dynamic range (HDR) or composite panoramas in Photoshop CS5. The script collects images into stacks based on capture time, exposure settings and the alignment of the image. The timestamps must be within 18 seconds for the Auto Collection script to process the photos. If the exposure settings vary according to the pictures and content overlaps by more than 80%, the script interprets the photos as a HDR set. If the exposure is constant and content overlaps by less than 80%, the script interprets the photos as part of a panorama.

    Note: You must have Adobe Bridge with Photoshop CS5 CS5 Collection car is available.
    1. To activate the Auto Collection CS5 script, choose the command Edition > Preferences (Windows) or Adobe Bridge CS5.1 > Preferences (Mac OS).
    2. In the Startup Scripts panel, select Auto Collection CS5 and then click OK.
    3. Select a folder with the HDR or panoramic and choose stacks > Auto stack Panorama/HDR.
    4. Choose Tools > Photoshop > process Collections in Photoshop to merge automatically and visualize the result in Adobe Bridge.
  • Is it possible with javascript to compile the data entered by the user in an easy format to excel?

    I have a form in which the user enters several lines of data as well as additional information on these data.  I would like finally to export data, so I can manipulate the Excel.  This is possible because javascript (or otherwise)?  Here is an example of what I mean.

    The form of a table in which the user enters each of the names of his friend, their favorite color and their age.  I want the name of the specific friend linked to their favorite color and age so when I export to excel I can see how many friends has the user whose favorite color is red.

    If the form data would be as follows:

    Friend1name

    Friend2name

    Friend3name

    Friend1color

    Friend2color

    Friend3color

    Friend1age

    Friend2age

    Friend3age

    When I export the data as entered above, the results of each field in another column.

    Anyone has any ideas for that?

    It is possible with JavaScript. You can write the data to the JavaScript console and then copy & paste into Excel, or write to a file as an attachment (aka data object) and export it. Here's a sample script that writes the field data in the JavaScript console:

    Table of domain names

    Invoke the var = ['Friend1name', 'Friend2name', 'Friend3name', 'Friend1color', 'Friend2color', 'Friend3color', 'Friend1age', 'Friend2age', 'Friend3age'];

    Browse the fields and write the field values in the console

    for (var i = 0; i)< afields.length;="" i="" +="1)">

    Console.println (getField(aFields[i]).valueAsString);

    }

    Display console

    Console.Show ();

    You can place this code in the mouse event to the top of a button and click the button to run it. This last line of code displays the console and you will be able to copy & paste the data.

  • Economy twice during an action as the same file extension possible with Photoshop without overwriting the first backup?

    Hello, first time submit a question to the Adobe communities.

    I would like to be able to record twice during an action with the same file extension; How is that possible? I tried a number of methods such as: save a JPEG as a copy, renaming jpeg in jpg format, adding a line to underscore the SMALL Word after it, etc., and it keeps overwriting my first recording. I'm still not recording "in copy" feature when saving a jpeg file. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I think that if this box is not grayed out on my second record I would be able to add the copy at the end of my file name that would create my second jpeg.

    I need this is because when I save the little and the big jpeg for our company store, I would just create an action that saves as two different sizes and then closes the file to move to another. The site on what I download is Four51 and they take a reorganization of the files, so a single method, I tried was to save the second time into action as a png but it makes it transparent and I need a white Uni.

    Tried to go into the options and disabling transparency PNG but that only works with quick export that will not register within an action (even abroad). It is a dilemma for some time, and my only way to work around it is to create the action doesn't follow: resize to 300 px wide > save as Jpeg > end of action. I play action and hit the command option I have change my size to 100 px wide for the thumbnail, then click on control shift s to record success and right arrow to add details and then save, order q, tab, space.

    If it makes no sense to anyone, I would be grateful for your advice. The only thing I can think that I have not tried is to change my background from transparent to white and then create this action: command option I have 300 px wide > order s (jpeg) > command option I have 100 px wide > command shift s (png) > w command

    I guess the only way to change your default background to white instead of transparent is to create a new document and put in place without transparent background then go further, my new documents will have white backgrounds. Do not see under my preferences?

    Thank you

    Something like the following action could work.

    A couple of notes:

    Image adjustment is under file > Automate > Fit Image and resizes the image to fit the specified size.

    For example, if you enter 300 in the two fields, photoshop resizes the longer side at 300 and the other dimension including the size proportionally as when you use Image > Image size to maintain Proportions checked.

    Photoshop uses the copy to JPEG files if the image of your savings has one or more layers or is not 8-bit/channel, because do not support JPEGs of layers or say 16 bits/channel.

    If you have only a background layer, then photoshop uses a copy when saving a jpeg file

    Thus, during the recording of the action you probably want that one-step flatten so save the first does not include copy in the name.

    To get the action record adding copy to name, open any image, add a layer, and then record save as jpeg for copy adds the jpeg save as step

    Created the snapshot of the original image open, so the second resizing using the original instead of resizing the image already resized.
