Is the product key invalid, because I already used it once even if I'm not on 7? Can I buy just a key somewhere or I have to buy a new copy of 7 again? It installed fine that I just can't turn it on.   Because the free update of Windows 10 used the license to the retail of Windows 7 as an eligible basic license, you cannot transfer it elsewhere or you reuse.

  You will need to purchase a new license of Windows 7 or buy a license for version full Windows 10.

  My recommendation to waive the license of Windows 7, I would buy a full version license Windows 10.

  When did you purchase the license? You are entitled to 90 days of free technical support from the day you turned on. If it's 90 days upwards, you can't get more.

  In the start screen, open the charms bar, then the search tool. Type wordpad and it should be indicated.

  If the key of Windows 7 is not an OEM key, it should require only a Windows 7 DVD for installation work and be legal.  See if you can borrow an installation DVD for someone who already has Windows 7.  Of course, the key will allow only Windows 7 Home Premium to install.  The DVD will ask if the installation is an upgrade or a full or custom installation (I forgot just how the question is asked) then simply use the key of the sticker.
