Issue: Cannot install LR 5 test on PC running Vista Home Premium.

Downloaded several times, but clicking on the .exe for download does not produce anything.  I found his record.  Cause there either.   A lot of memory, too.  Any Suggestions?

Thank you, SKB

LR5 will not work on W7 and W8. Adobe supports more Windows Vista.

LR4 was the last version to run on Vista.

  • I am trying to install a printer/scanner HP F4400 on Vista Home Premium 32 bit and may not have to install.

HP has me turn off the firewall, hide windows programs, uninstall HP System.  I also cleaned the registry, disk and defrag, I also downloaded the hotfix from Microsoft and it is impossible to identify the problem or difficulty there.  At one point I could get to download the software before I would get error messages or #33472310 and 25672887.ZIP.  Now I can't get that far, I get to the point where he say he prepares the system for installation when it stops with the message "the system cannot ind specified path. I'm not now about to install I was Sunday when I started.  Can anyone help?

    Hi Julien,

Please provide the complete error message you receive when installing the printer software.

I suggest you try the following steps:

Step 1: use the Windows Installer Cleanup utility for delete all entries that are associated with the product that you have trouble to install (printing software):

Download and then install the Microsoft Windows Cleanup utility. To do this, see the Microsoft Web site:

    http://download.Microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe

Save the file to the desktop. When the download is complete, double-click the file and then follow the directions. When the installation is complete, click Start, point to all programsand then click Windows Installer Cleanup.

In the list of the products installed , delete all entries that are related to the product you have installed wrong. If there are too many entries, click select all, and then click Remove. When you have deleted all entries, click exit, and then start the installation of the product

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

  • Cannot open and view the files on a Vista Home Premium 32-bit networking machine

My laptop running Vista Home 32-bit pre SP2 has been networked with my desktop running XP V2002 Pro SP 3 for a long time.  Until recently, the files were shared back without problem.  After a Windows Update, a few days ago my Vista machine keep gel.  After a diagnosis, I have disabled some startup software Google and McAfee and services programs and did a system restore to March 31 to resolve the problem of gel.   However, I can't restore the capacity on the laptop of Vista file sharing.  This Vista laptop is able to ping the XP machine and see and access the files on the XP machine.  But the XP machine can't Ping the Vista laptop (application expires) and when you click on the list of the Vista laptop for the task force on the XP machine, it gives the error message \\Laptop is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use this network resource.  Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.  The network path was not found. I tried various fixes suggested.  All have failed. (1) turned power off the modem cable & wireless router, restarted and connected the modem and router computers in after the computer restarted. (2) Turned off all 3rd party software and even restarted the laptop Vista in safe mode with network.  Could not even Ping the laptop of Vista on the XP machine or access the notebook icon in the Working Group in MyNetwork places. (3) Made that exception file sharing and printer is selected in the Windows Firewall settings. (4) checking network and sharing Center.  Discovery of the network, file sharing, sharing public folders, & Printer Sharing set on "On".  Sharing still protected by password set to 'Off '. (5) group named network WORKING Group on both machines. (6) the fact that individual records are always set to 'share '. (7) in the properties of wireless network connections, Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) has been disabled. (8) has a netsh winsock reset on the Vista laptop.   Am I missing something else? This problem would go away if I have upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 on the laptop / Windows 7 can network with a XP Pro machine? Thanks to all those who have ideas on what the problem may be.

  • Vista Home Premium; "no audio device is installed" after update Realtek.

    Hello

I recently updated the driver from myRealtek, and after reboot as recommended, I got a red X on my sound icon and the message "no audio device is installed" under the sound engineer. Realtek and Unimodem drivers audio show that they work and I uninstalled both and reinstalled the latest versions and then uninstalled and reinstalled the original ones that came on the computer, but nothing has worked. I stopped, started and restarted Windows Audio and tried restoring the system (without success) and recovery of driver (would be successful) but I have still no sound.

I run Vista Home Premium, 32-bit, Service Pack 1 on a HP Pavilion dv6648se.

Ideas, suggestions or comments would be appreciated, I'm starting to think that I might have to perform a full recovery of the system. Thanks in advance!

  • Why the update KB 2434419 install in Vista Home Premium?

I asked the original question in this thread. I guess I have myself not clear enough. I can't install KB 2434419 on my ACER desktop computer and my HP laptop computer, running VISTA home Premium and IE 8. I don't have IE 9 yet, although I'll someday... I rebooted after installation, tried all the ideas in support, re-installed manually. Nothing works. If anyone has ideas, for a person running Vista and IE8, (if it is important yet!) I like it. • Can I use Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Pack (3 users) to install Windows 7 Edition home premium 64 on a desktop computer running the OEM version of Windows Vista Home Premium 32?

My desktop system is an Acer E700 Intel Quad Core 2.4 GHz with 4 GB of RAM and 1 Gig video running Vista Home Premium OEM 32 version. I plan to upgrade the hard disk of 1 tetrabyte before upgrading the OS.  If so, how should I do this?  I have to restore the backup to disk to the new disk before update for Window 7 64?

My second office is already running Vista Home Premium 64 so this upgrade using the family must be right before correct?  Or do I need to backup to the subject programs before moving to Win7 64?

    Thanks in advance.

You will need to do a reformat to perform installation and you reinstall the applications.  There has never been a way to upgrade from x 86 to x 64.  You will need to do is use your x 64 media to install Windows 7 on new hard drive, use your product key on the certificate of authenticity located on the side of the Acer desktop computer.  You will always be the OEM license terms, as you install the same Windows SKU.  Product keys are interchangeable between x 86 and x 64, but you will probably need to call to activate Windows after installation - usually the Internet activation does not work on current versions of Windows using the seller great modes of action.
