• Connectivity issue Smart View RA framework

  Hi all

  We have enabled SSL in our env using port 443.  When connecting in Smart mode to access the framwork RA using the active ssl link https://servername/raframework/browse/listXML , its does not display anything.  But when we use the non-active ssl link http://servername:19000 / raframework/browse/listXML, it displays reports.  When you check the RaFramework_BrowseServlet.log log file in the path of E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\RaFramework0\logs, we can see the error message below

  java.io.FileNotFoundException: answer: 404: not found ' URL: ' http://sername/epmstatic/wspace/SmartView/version.XML '

  Hi all

  Right after I installed and configured all EMP 11.1.2.3 environment Windows 2008, I had to stop all services and restarting the server for maintenance, after start all services of EMP RA framework stops after began and the following message appears in the event viewer.

  "The description for event ID 0 in source HyS9RaFrameworkAgent_epmsystem1 is not found. Either the component that triggers this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

  If the event is on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

  The following information has been included in the event:

  Java Virtual Machine has finished with a code of 0, the service is stopped.

  the message resource is present, but the message is not in the string/message table.

  What does that mean?  Could someone help me on this?

  Indeed, the question was about the ports.

  I ran the command:

  netsh int ipv4 set dynamicport tcp start = 49152 num = 16384

  and the service looked with success.

• WOOF Application Framework install issue - for Oracle Utilities SDK 4.0

  I hope someone can help me, I'm really confused.
  
  I have a working of MDM 2.1 installation and everything works.
  Now I need to install the SDK WOOF to start coding in JAVA, but since I got a new mstill to this I don't really understand where is the application server. I though that I have that installed already. But it is not found in C:\ouaf\demo.
  
  I have the framework installed, I do not understand why the SDK says bad file.
  Oracle Utilities Application Framework V4.1.0 multiplatform is the one that I installed it.

  Go to support.oracle.com and search article 1210804.1 knowledge base. It has links with the SDK, you must work with WOOF v4.1.

  I use flabell mp3 player on my web page, I have created frameworks for that so this mp3 player comes in frame when I click on the link of the other frame, every thing is normal but the music is not playing, this problem is with mozila only because I tried chrome and IE, it works fine with that , but mozial it does not work.

  We have seen some reports that adding code transformation or transition to the frame is causing issues.

  I am currently using a retina 15 MacBook Pro running OSX El Capitan thumbs. To increase the security on my computer about a year ago, I installed AVG AntiVirus which I sometimes run to check for some security issues. Recently, the antivirus has begun to warn me for some potential threats that seem to be connected with most of my apps (VLC, utorrent, appzapper, etc...). I uninstalled apps, and every time I try to reinstall AVG appears a window with a warning. All of these problems seem to be connected with "Sparkle Framework. Can someone please explain to me what is happening and if it's a real threat or just a malfunction of the antivirus? Thank you!

  PS: I do not know what triggered it, just started to happen somehow

• Unit Testing Unit Test Framework when the expected production is just a table of NaNs to report a fake PASS

  I remember having this problem with the old version of the unit testing framework, but alas, it is still present in the new version.

  To do this, I use LabVIEW 2015.

  A customer contacted ask me what to do, because the expected output was table of NaNs and the VI under test returns an array of numbers and yet, the test was passing!

  My suggestion to use as a solution was to create a defined trial user who would test for the table of NaNs. I was wondering if someone here had found this problem and if you have further suggestions other than user defined Test.

  Until someone suggests we turn to JKI VI tester for this project, I can tell you that we use UTF and tester of JKI VI not because the client is in a regulated industry.

  Question: Is using a user defined Test is the best approach? We missing something in the way that the Unit Test is defined which translates the fake of the Test infrastructure Unit reports that the test successful?

  I was able to reproduce the problem on my machine and I have observed the same results. What I see in the video, it looks that you are setting the unit test. I think that this is a bug rather than your test configuration, so I presented a report on this issue will have to be reviewed by the R & D.

  Go ahead, I agree that a user defined Test is the best solution in this case. If it meets the needs of your clients, I recommend you take this option.

• Windows XP does not level net framework 3.5 service pack 1 or service pack 2. Error code 80070673. Also, don't look for new updates - error code 80070490.

  My windows xp tried to upgrade with the 3.5 framework - net framework 3.5 SP1 update family (KB951847) x 86 since 07/08/09.  History shows that he has failed every time.  He also tried to install service pack 2 (KB948465) since 07/08/09 and has failed each attempt.  When I try to check new updates, it says "windows has not can find new updates" with an error code 80070490.  When I try to upgrade with the framework 3.5 service pack 1, it says "some updates were not installed" with an error code of 80070673.  History shows that all other updates have been installed successfully.  Please let me know what I need to do to fix this problem.

  You will need to fix the OS before trying to fix the rest of your problems. If the OS is unstable, then nothing else will matter. Make sure you have backups up-to-date of all your personal stuff and know where the product keys etc in case you should reinstall. That your OS is stable/fixed you can follow instructions from PA Bear re updates of the framework.

• 1706 error trying to install Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 and finally 10% demand netfx.msi file, which I did not?

  I try to install the update for Net FrameWork 1.1, the SP-1, at the end of the installation fails with an error 1706 code because I can't find netfx.msi install file. I don't have a disk. Am running XP Pro SP3. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

  2 are you able to install some other updates on the computer?

  3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

• Has no Framework SP1 in WU updates

  I received an update of important safety from windows update for my system Vista Bus 32. I chose it may times (13.7 MB) and each time it fails to install. I saved a screenshot of all the failures if you want that I send it to you. Should I uninstall SP1 and reinstall? Which will allow the update to join?

  I received the error code 643. By selecting 'help with this error' has produced a list of codes 8xxx, which none apply to me (or I could determine appropriate).   I followed the link you gave and tried the "fix" for the record to update MSI software... He ran, but did not return any info as to whether or not it has fixed the problem, so I clicked on the cleaning tool.  Read the warnings, and then downloaded, installed and ran it on .NET Framework 1.1.  He removed 1.1 and indicated that the process was successful. I rebooted.

  I don't know if I need to reinstall .NET Framewook 1.1, so I chose not to. I guess that if Windows Update judge took it, it will appear as a download (let me know if I have it wrong).

  The update of security has disappeared from my downloads.  Thanks again for the link. Right now, I would say that the issue has been addressed.

  the .NET Framework is required if you are running a program that
  requires it. When do not need to install has no effect your
  computer, positive or negative. If you used a .NET program
  and did not have the installed runtimes then your program would not
  work or load the runtimes when installed.
   
  Also just FYI in future issues on Windows XP should be posted in
  the forum/group specific Windows XP rather than Vista forum
  make sure you get the most effective and targeted advice.
