Issue of Home premium Windows vista bit 23. ___

I reinstalled windows vista as it kept crashing and I've been advised to do, now that I reinstalled vista it asks me to activate even if it's the same pc, and it says that I can use the same key on the computer even if I do not and hardware changes - which I did not.

If asks me to activate within the next 2 days or "break windows".

  • Windows Vista Edition upgrade Home Premium Windows Vista Business

    Hello

I recently bought a HP Pavilion dv6 1199EE laptop and it has a version of Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 system Type 32 bit installed.

Now, I want this transition to Windows Vista Business full Edition without formatting & reinstall OS because I don't want to lose the features & programs came with the lap top. I would buy the Windows Vista Professional with the product key on the local market in my country.

First of all, I want your advice what is the best Vista professional should I buy?

Second, what are the professional measures to update without formatting the hard drive of my laptop?

    Concerning

    Mr. Sayadi

You cannot upgrade Vista Home Premium to Vista Business.

It is not a Vista upgrade path.

You have clean installation, back up ALL your data and reinstall all the programs.

    Upgrade paths:

-of Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate.
-from Vista Home Premium to Ultimate.
    -from Vista Business to Ultimate

And there's no. Vista Business Ultimate version.

You will need to purchase a full version of Vista Business and do a clean install.

OR buy a Vista Ultimate upgrade version and do a upgrade.

If you do an upgrade to Vista Ultimate, it SHOULD be with a 32-bit Ultimate Upgrade disk.

There is only a single company of Vista, but you can buy the full version 32 bit or 64 bit OS and do a clean install...

All depends on the amount of RAM for the need to use.

I installed the new fromrecovery reinstalled hard drive disk tried to upgrade my copy of Home premium update in windows vista says upgrade closed clean istall that only I lose all programs from vista basic none of the features of Home premium my hp compaq is not listed for the upgrade to windows 7

You should be able to upgrade Vista Basic to Vista Home Premium.  To do this, you must first reinstall Vista Basicand activate it.  THEN, you can use the new disk upgraded to Home Premium.  You just can't use the disk to upgrade directly without installled Vista Basic and is running and active.

Since it is a recovery disk, you must contact the manufacturer to explain why you cannot upgrade and help you as the recovery process is to them - not Microsoft.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows vista edition Home premium: Windows Vista

I have windows vista and my creations of hp photo just stop working.  How can I solve this problem? In addition, my hard drive reads the discs for a few minutes and then gives me an error.  How can I solve that?

    Hi Stephanie.

Looks like there are several problems with your computer.

The question of the HP Photo Creations may be due to a conflict with Internet Explorer. (Although normally, you use another browser, Internet Explorer provides substantive services that use other programs). If so, reset Internet Explorer should help.

Here's how to reset Internet Explorer:

    1. Open Internet Explorer and select the menu Tools (gear icon).
    2. Click on Internet Options.
    3. Select the Advanced tab.
    4. Click on the Reset button (at the bottom of the window).
    5. Close Internet Explorer.
    6. Restart your computer.
    7. Launch of HP Photo Creations.

If this does not help, then uninstall and reinstall HP Photo Creations could be a next step. Here are a few pointers:

    Reinstallation of HP Photo Creations

  • Home premium Windows Vista, 32-bit, cannot log in Mode without failure.

I got to help the customer. I want to delete some files from my registry and program files. They told me to restart in safe mode and then delete the files listed. I followed the instuctions to get in safe mode by pressing F8, everything as it says, but she begins just up on a regular basis. While I'm pressing F8 there is a signal from the Office Tower. Is there another way to get into safe mode? Thank you in advance.

You're pressed F8 too soon. You must just right time. Wait just after see you the screen to start the computer mftr. tap-tap-tapping, and then start it. If F8 does not work, then try F5. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • can upgrade you vista Home premium to vista professional in order to install windows 7 Professional upgrade?

Husband bought the windows 7 Professional upgrade.  Of course when it did not work and the message was to do a "clean install", we both had type light headed as we thought it that will take all day and probably does not work smoothly since is the most "literate" computer.  I did some internet research and according to microsoft, windows vista business upgrade to windows 7 Professional is an upgrade and not a clean install.  Is it useful to try and uprade my 64-bit edition windows Home premium windows vista professional in order to upgrade to windows 7 Professional?  I don't think we can get our money back because the packaging is open or I would say just that we trade it for ultimate.  If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.  Also I don't know even where to download vista business or haow only as much as it would cost.  Thanks in advance.

N ° there is no way to go from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional OR Vista business without what you call a 'clean install', so there is no point in spending money to upgrade to Home Premium to business before the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional.  Upgrade Vista Home Premium only allowed on-site is ultimate.

Use Windows Easy Transfer to keep your files and settings.  Then, start the computer with the Windows 7 dvd installation and moving forward.  Do not remove Vista.  Windows 7 upgrade installation should detect a copy installed Windows so that you can use the upgrade product key.  Once you reach the installation type selection screen, you will see the upgrade option is grayed out.  Choose the custom option to continue.

If you want to do a clean install, you can use the tools on the installation type selection screen (until you click on custom) to reformat, etc., but this is not necessary if you don't mind remove the old Windows folder later.  If you start with a blank hard drive your upgrade license will be a problem then don't attempt is not a clean install of the old way.

Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit not updated, the error code 80070005.  Have tried little about everything without success. • I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L305-S5894 with Windows Vista Home Premium installed (32 bit). Unable to get a backup to a flash drive. Error: 0 x 81000029

Original title: I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L305-S5894 with Windows Vista Home Premium installed (32 bit).  Unable to get a backup to a flash drive.

After back back, very many updates of windows, my computer is full of problems and it is not representative of the restore points far enough back to correct.  I want really to save my data and programs for flash drive (s) and then go for a full recovery of the system (return to factory).  When you try to do the backup on a 4 GB USB key I get an error including 0 x 81000029.  I have seen posted answers to this.  Everything is included to aid Vista disk from the window which was not included when I bought my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

The following article should be useful. To use system recovery options, you have Vista installation disc. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) repeatedly will install on the computer Windows recovery environment. To cross check if it is installed, try the following steps.

1 start the computer and press the F8 key continuously to get advanced boot menu options.
    2. on the menu advanced startup options, check if the Startup Repair tool is in the list.
    3. If so, select it and press ENTER.
    4. If not, then you should organize a Vista installation disc.

You may receive error messages when you try to perform a backup operation on a Windows Vista-based computer

32-bit and 64-bit versions exist. There is no way that all of us can
tell from your post that you have.

Hold down the Windows key, then press Pause. Break. It will tell you
