• BBM BBM and Blackbeery ID surveys

  Hello

  I have 2 blackberry fones, a Q10 and recently acquired a Q5.  I seem to have issues with the BBM on the Q5 as my blackberry ID on the original fone which is Q1 - doesn't seem to work on the Q5.  Trying to implement BBM on the Q5 is impossible in treating it as a new device indicating "ID is already associated with another device and wants me to pass my BBM of the Q10 for the Q5.

  I have two fone because I have different contacts, although contacts are also on the two FONES.  Can I use the same ID for two fones as the BB site I can says.  Please someone heeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllppppppppp.

• BlackBerry BBM/EMAIL on 8310 Smartphones

  I was digging through these forums for hours before finally slamming my head on the desk over and over again because I see no issues with the BBM which correspond to my problem.

  I have a data plan with a t-mobile... and all my applications (i.e. Ubertwitter) works with internet...

  But...

  for the life of me I can't understand why I can't add contacts on my BB Messenger. or even use it.

  I asked people add me, and I tried to add people... I just get waiting applications on my end and rejects on them.

  I'm kinda new in the world of BB, but it doesn't make sense to me.

  Second, I tried to fix my email yahoo on the 8310... but when I went to the Setup Wizard it asked if I had a BB Enterprise account or some jive like this OR ignore the e-mail setup... no option to add a personal account or anything like that!

  My sister bought me this phone through EBAY and I am sure it has "unlocked".

  If anyone has any advice on why this does not work Please HELP!... until I get brain damage more.

• Issue of calendar entries sharing with groups of BBM blackBerry Smartphones BB Curve 8520-

  I am currently using a BB Curve 8520. I have a problem with the birthday entries sharing with my BBM groups.

  When I add a birthday entry to my contacts from the phonebook, the phone will ask whether or not you will share this date with the BBM groups calendar.

  If I select No., birthday entry will continue to BE SHARED to your BBM groups.

  So I have to go to the calendar of the BBM groups to delete manually created entry.

  Can you help me to solve this problem with my phone?

  Follow the steps; below

  1. take a full backup of your device.

  2 reset the device (Do a security wipe)

  3 register your device with Netowrk.

  4. return the maintenance book.

  5. If more than one e-mail account then delete pulled CICAL service book of reset. (but keep a default for CICAL service)

  6. now, do a restore advance except BBM GROUP and data.

  7. now, create a new entry in the calendar.

• Issues with BBM blackBerry Smartphones 2

  Hi, first I have a Bold 9700 and my contract covers everything (internet/email/bbm, etc.). (Edit: and I am on Orange, to the United Kingdom, if it makes a difference.)

  But whenever I've been on BBM it has not looked like all the manuals of the user here say it should - I don't see the display picture of anyone, and I can't add my own. When I looked at the online books and tried to follow the instructions, the layout / interface was different textbooks suggest it should - and I tried a number of different versions of more textbooks, is not that I am looking at the wrong version.

  However, I did check and noticed that I was on a version 4 something BBM. I had the link to update sent to my phone and updated. However, now the BBM icon has disappeared from my home page and I can't find anywhere to get back. I had been able to always get him well "switch application", but I restarted my phone and now I can not even find BBM through the application of switch option either.

  I noticed something here on the RIM, I guess that's the issue, but I don't know why it would be. I did not add anything like that to my phone, but as I say, the complete package of my service provider, so I could not see any reason why I wouldn't be able to upgrade my BBM on my device.

  Any help to recover the icon would be massively appreciated (while I want the display pic problem to work, I'm more interested in being able to get on BBM himself first!)

  I would say this: use your BlackBerry Messenger feature to back up your contacts, you have now, and also, do a full backup using the Desktop Manager.

  Then go into Options > Advanced > Applications and scroll the Messenger app and do not click it, just highlight it. Click Menu > delete and remove the application.

  Now, do a restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install again the Messenger application.

  After installation and reboot if necessary, check your instant messaging, or downloads of the application folder.

  You can restore your contacts from the application of v.5 BBM or from Office Manager > Backup/Restore > advanced.

• Sending of BBM issues on Android phone

  Have not had any problems with BBM on my Galaxy III until dec 14. I sent messages just fine in the morning, but tonight nothing would go and have not since. I get messages very well, but my answers are sent and end up with a red X box on them. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

  Customer service suggested trying to BBM with a different contact. Everything worked properly when I did. Reported that customer service and they concluded that the problem is not with my phone/BBM program but with my contact phone/program.

  After my upgrade has completed, I realized that when using BBM surveys I don't see what I'm typing before hitting the SEND key because the white band Milky superior of the keyboard is covering the dialog box

• BBM Android update 2.4.0.9 wifi issues!

  Hello, as many other users reviewed, new update presents a very annoying problem with WiFi on android, when you switch from mobile data, wifi, bbm works you just manually stop and re-open it again so messages can go through, send or receive both... Is there a fix... BBM is aware of this huge problem? Is actually unusable on platform android from now thanks!

  I am pleased to announce that BBM for Android 2.4.0.11 was released yesterday morning and solves this problem.

  Please update when this is possible, and let me know if you still see problems.

  Whenever I charge my phone or restart I notice my bbm dates back to ancient times, I get previous pings and current pings will no longer appear, also dp displays more peoples. I decided to back up my contacts, delete and re install the app but realized after the reboot, I can download is no longer bbm as he shows me app World, bbm is already installed, but can't find anywhere in my phone. Please help I need my bbm back

  If you already verified and that you are unable to locate your BBM icon, then you should try reinstalling the BlackBerry Messenger application, it may be useful.

  To do it from your home screen to go to Options > device > Application Management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

  KB10040 : How to view or delete the application installed on a blackberry smartphone 

   

  Deleted once perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a min. and then reinsert this return.

  Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the most recent version available. After installation, restart your device once more, connecting with your BlackBerry ID and check if you are able to send BBM to one of these devices.

  Please try it and let us know of your progress.

  I just bought a BlackBerry for a parent especially to be able to use BBM with him, knowing that he will soon be abroad;

  The problem is that I can not add him to my contacts: scanning the bar code don't work, for what is to type the PIN code or text. I even tried to send him an email. There, for example, can add me, and none of the latter work neither.

  Question: The BBM Messages are not in delivery or receipt.

  I can type out messages and send them, but they are not being delivered and I don't get the bbm messages. I can send the same message from 10-15 times and it can be delivered.

  Text messages work, and my browser works, both on data and wireless. Was working fine last night, the problem started today. Made of soft and hard reboots no change.

  Do not know if everyone has the same problems, but my Rogers BBM to Bell BBM my wife (sometimes messages delayed until the time these last time)

  Could be a slowdown in the BIS server.

  Rogers, yesterday, on the last night, reported an interruption of some data to BlackBerry services. The scale and services where delayed or even down, I don't remember.

  But this is probably the explanation. Give today and see how it goes. If no improvement, thanks for posting here.

  Just got a BlackBerry q10 and discovered that every time that I upload an image on the bbm screen is always blurred.

  How big are the files that your download of the BBM display?

  I receive an invitation by email, I read the email, the instructions are very basic (and perhaps not designed for Android), instructions appear to be very wrong like by clicking on the link gets me nowhere (just to fill another invitation) and using gets only BBM me back to the invites sent, there is no prompt pending etc.

  I should mention, I sent an invitation to the person who sent me an invitation back then it's two out of two people I know of so far with this issue.

  How can I add messenging, no other system has been this hard...  It needs a "pending acceptance" and invite by BBM option.

  BBM turned off to a very rocky start, I'm almost ready to give up and I wanted to have a go...

  for me the "accept button" also was not send but in the bbm itself in the section where it shows "waiting for guest" or something like that

• BBM app receives not messages

  I have encountered a problem when trying to listen to the messages sent, because the listeners are not never been triggered. This brilliant application can just send messages but not receive and have one of them.

  I know that the application sends messages is based on the fact that invitations are sent and received propperly.

  Below, an explanation of my problem and my workaround:

  A connection ensures the communication between multiple instances of the application that can be set, public or private.

  According to BBM, to create a connection, you must create a listener of the connection and the messaging service allows you to set the listener and retrieve a connection, as follows:

  MessagingService messagingService = platformContext.getMessagingService (); BBMPlatformSession session = messagingService.createSession (new MySessionListener()); / * BBMPlatformSession and BBMPlatformChannel are BBMPlatformConnection childs as their respective listener share the same relationship.*.

  The issue with the example above, it's that the connection is not useful because the connection or the connection listener is related to the mail service. And that's because the mail service will attempt to use the connection returned by voicemail service listener, which is not the same connection created above.

  Workaround

   

  Create a listener mail service for the created connection and recipient of the connection, as follows:
