• SKY BLUE TO USING THE SMART BRUSH?

  I'm trying to blue sky-wash using the Smart brush to 13 items. Despite what I believe to be the correct procedure (i.e. open the image in Photo Editor, click on the smart brush, smart brush tool, choose the effect of sky blue (top-left) in the effect selector, select the adjustment brush and clicking on the photo selected area Sky does any change.) Can someone advise please?

• Smart Brush layers

  After I create multiple layers using "smart brush" and save and close the file, when I open the file it again I can not all layers to appear.  I tried "select", "all layers" and yet nothing happens.  Am I doing wrong or what I need to do to get all my layers seem to so I can continue to work on them?

  
  

  If you saved in JPEG format, then the structure of the layer will not be retained for use in a later session.

  Next time, go to file > save as, in the dialog box that appears, under Format, select PSD menu drop-down.

  Suggest that you try this on a dummy file to make sure it works for you.

  need help to find the smart brush in photoshop CC worked occasionally w 11 Photoshop but don't seem to find the same tool on Photoshop CC... Help

  He has none of these tools in the 'big' Photoshop. We must learn drunk, and so on with other tools like the brush helaing and learn the techniques of selection and masking.

• No circle around "the Smart brush tool.

  I just bought 10 items and I have troule with tool smart brush, that I do not see the circle which is supposed to be around the cross. I see the size of the brush change the numbers, but none circle.

  Any ideas on what I should do.

  To start with the easiest fix, at the far left of the options bar is a small triangle. Click on it and choose the tool reset in the menu dropdown.

  Also, make sure that your caps lock shift is not on.

  Illustrator PRODUCT BUG / PROBLEM: Image in the new version of illustrator brushes show a strange discoloration and pixelation unsightly around the edges that have any transparency, but ONLY in the space of RGB, CMYK color space color has not this problem. This moved NOT in 2015 from CC. I could create a brush image with transparency on the edges, and it would be PERFECT if I was using a color space RGB or CMYK.

  Below I'll detail the major problem that I discovered with brushes of image in RGB color mode in the most recent update of Adobe Illustrator. After having tested methodical, I created a video with my findings. I also wrote it below the video more in depth as well.

  PRODUCT BUG / PROBLEM: Image in the new version of illustrator brushes show a strange discoloration and pixelation unsightly around the edges that have any transparency, but ONLY in the space of RGB, CMYK color space color has not this problem. This moved NOT in 2015 from CC. I could create a brush image with transparency on the edges, and it would be PERFECT if I was using a color space RGB or CMYK.
  I create digital assets for a living and am a bestseller on creative market (https://creativemarket.com/dailydesignables ) and am VERY methodical about products, I create, so I did thorough testing to ensure that it is not a question that I have just. It's a universal issue with illustrator CC 2015 update. A few months ago I published a set of brushes for IA CC image and sold many of them, and I've tested for months before release. I discovered this problem when I was going to use in the new version of illustrator and to my surprise, the edges of the brushes where there was some transparency had terrible distortion of colors and pixelation.

  It wasn't a problem on the previous version of illustrator and I tested it on my two machines, I have a customer who bought my image brushes email me with the same problem. I created NEW brushes in my video demo above to show it is also not a problem with the implementation brushes from a previous version. I created brushes sweet image in CC2015 and CC2015.3 to show the problem is with the new update, and ONLY in the RGB color space. Because the image brushes worked perfectly in the latest version, I know it's possible. There is a problem with the RGB color space in the new version's efforts useless brushes image with transparency on the edges. I work in RGB, so it's a big deal.

  In addition, there is nothing to do with the performance of the GPU, I tried that already, turn it off, restart illustrator. Same results. At first I thought it was a rendering / perhaps CPU / memory problem which will make arrangements with a reboot, but it isn't. It is constant in my machines and my clients. In addition, if you paste the image (with transparency issues) brush in a photoshop doc, be it as a smart object or a raster object, discoloration and the pixelation also comes, is not only a problem of rendering of AI.

  I was supposed to get a call from Anu on case #0187946265 last week and never did. I got an email to say Adobe, they closed the case because they have marked as "resolved". I tweeted Adobe Illustrator and Adobe supported the problem, so I hope that someone in the bugs team will see this STAT! Thank you very much in advance!

  Hello world!

  Just an update that Engineering was able to reproduce the problem and are working on a fix. Although there is a workaround solution, working in CMYK mode (and then switching to RGB later) should work until the fix is released.

• Issue of Smart View?

  Our users report recently that Excel freezes when trying to copy and paste the value of the cell with enable Smart View, the steps they do are the following:

  Open the model smart display of Excel and then click on Control Panel, sharing connection, and then connect to essbase base, ad-hoc analysis.

  then control - C any cell in this model, Excel becomes frozen, they close Excel and restart.

  If Smart view does not activate, then Ctrl C and P control works well.

  Have someone in the Group has a similar question, I hate to blame Smart view for this. We have 11.1.2.5.500 the Smart view, Essbase version is 11.1.2.4

  Is the issue with this model/file?  What happens if the user is using a white sheet excel and did the same steps?

  If its this sheet only, check the display options smart for anything that seems unusual. You can also clear the metadata in the workbook, it could clear up what ever is causing the problem.  to do this, open the template, click Smart View-> Info-> Delete Sheet-> remove all metadata

  given that your username is reconnecting the plug anyway, it does not cause other problems.

• Windows 7 and Toshiba Tablet issues and Smart Board

  some of our teachers who have Toshiba tablets can use their Smartobards (and yes they have the latest smart drivers) unless we remove all the pen settings except for "use my finger." Help, please!

• Issue backup Smart Link

  I have a small business RV042 router.  I have the Dual WAN setup Smart Link Backup mode.

  WAN1 is configured with a DNS servers for ISP 1 and the specified static IP address.

  WAN2 is configured to 2 PSI with a dynamic IP Addess (obtain an IP address automatically) with no DNS information is entered.

  If I unplug the cable to WAN1 router fine WAN2.  The problem I have is that DNS fails on all my computers until the cable to WAN1 is reconnected.  If when the WAN1 is disconnected, I do an ipconfig/release then ipconfig / renew on my computers, the DNS lookups so fine function.  If I plug the cable in to WAN1 I still do ipconfig/release then ipconfig / renew on my computers again have DNS function correctly.

  Any ideas on how this can be corrected?

  Static DNS servers can be specified to the DHCP > Setup page. The configured DNS servers thus will take precedence over the DNS servers provided by your ISP, when WAN links go live.

• Issue of smart RADIUS

  The user manual is pretty clear about the objective of the smart RADIUS.  However, I have a basic question.  Can I check out RADIUS smart before or after I have selected an object.  If I do it all first, it disappears when I make my selection.  If I make my selection first, it changes radically in the selection.  What I'm doing wrong or don't understand?

  My personal opinion, this thing is worthless... You must only when necessary (again, my opinion only is never...) so after you make your selection, you can dial in the smart RADIUS.

• Issue of Photoshop brushes

  Hey I was just wondering how I get rid of this weird line around my brushes, because every time I try to fill it shows it and its very annoying

  Turn on anti-alias. It will always look like crap, just say "." This isn't a great way to do this. It is best to put a layer of blue solid behind the grey layer.

  1. after the application of an adjustment to the parts of a photo brush, I want to apply a different adjustment brush to another area of the image. How to stop an adjustment brush and start a new?

  1. Click on the word again and re - configure the sliders and continue brushing.
  2. While the tool is active, right-click (Ctrl-click) on a PIN and choose Remove. Or come back back in the steps of history up to a point before the adjustment brush has been added. If the pins are not visible, tab with the H key to hide/show the pins.

• Lack of presets for Smart Brush into 12 pieces. How can I get them?

  I bought 12 elements (MAC) to my wife just for more than a year, and she is now trying to use the active brush. There is however no available presets. We found the directory the presets were supposed to be in and there are a number of directories. All the rooms empty.

  How we can update the presets?

  It looks like your missing a bunch of files, so reinstall pse 12 seems to be the solution in order to recover the missing files.

  

• New to CS6 in CS4 - issue of palette brushes

  I like the default CS4 brushes palette vision clean and simple:

  

  I never used to CS5, so maybe Adobe mucked with the palette forms before CS6. I'm sure some of you are raving about this new interface:

  

  Can I get the default view of CS4 in CS6? I have to manually create each brush that has always been reset default size?  I like all the sizes of hard and soft brush in increments as CS4.

  If you have used both, why you like this better than CS4 style? (I would like to think that it is an improvement, I can learn to appreciate a day)

  If you like your old default CS4 brushes and want them in CS6, try this.

  Open Photoshop CS4

  Make sure that CS4 is set to the default brushes.

  Since the icon pointing to the right in the CS4 brush Panel, select Manager of Preset

  Preset Manager open, a brush to select, click on Cmd has to select all.

  Click on 'Save Set' and name it default CS4 brushes. Save it to the desktop where you can see the file.

  Drag in Applications/Photoshop CS6/Presets/brushes

  Then, you should be able to select and replace in the list under the devices menu.
