You will need to purchase a full commercial copy of Windows 7 and do a clean install. You cannot use a Windows XP hacked as an operating system that you are eligible for an upgrade. Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.

A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

    Hi all

Since a few days, we are on 11.1.2.3.500 and using IE 11. In IE 11, we can use Oracle EPM Suite only in Enterprise Mode, otherwise only "Bindows" appears. Now, my question is how can I disable (or remove) the Popup Message "the current compatibility setting is not supported. Turn off compatibility view before you run this web page. "because it's really embarrassing that this message whenever I start a planning application, Manager of calc or what ever.

Thanks a lot for your help.

You can go to tools > compatibility view settings and you should be able to remove the Web site / uncheck compatibility view so that you won't get this message

  • When you move to a link * in * a Web page, want to right-click menu drop down for "this e-mail link" line

When I read a blog and you want to send a link of thread/topic/from own section, I don't want to send the whole blog (I could do with the Menu file, send this link), I want to send the link to this thread * in * the blog. Only see it 't to do is right click hover on the title of the thread (which is a link), then copy the location of the link, then go to my mail... application which is awkward and time-consuminb
What I want is another line of right click menu that would be "location of the Email link. None of the Add-ons I've looked at seem to do. Or am I missing something?

Sorry my mistake, completely missed this sentence in your post. I'm so glad you found what you are looking for good.

  • "There is a problem with this Web page then it has been reloaded" in Safari on my Mac.

When I go to Google Docs, the page may not load and the message "is a problem with this Web page then it was recharged" keep appearing until page reads "a problem several times occurred with xxx. It is also accompanied by a message saying "web content Safari quit unexpectedly. This problem occurred only when I try to access a document on google docs, and google no drive. It happens on multiple google accounts, so I guess that the problem is not in the account.

I tried to remove the plug-ins, extensions, modules, clear my cache, erase my browser history and go on a guest account, start up and none of them worked. I have a macbook air.

Does anyone know the solution to this? Thank you.

Hi, it happened to me as well and made me mad, I've sorted this problem out by updating FontExplorer XPro (from version 2 to version 5.5), check your font app situation, if it is old, if you corrupt fonts etc.

If you use font book, select the fonts and post them and if the problem persists then go to FILE) restore the Standard fonts.

It seems that this is a problem caused by your application of policies or corrupt fonts, to give it a try.

    Good luck

  • This Web page could not be saved.

Lately, I noticed that I could record is no longer a webpage via Internet Explorer 7. I thought it had something to do with the release of the new version, IE 8. Finally, I installed IE 8, thinking that the problem could be solved, but whenever I try to save a Web page, still appears the message "this Web page could not be saved.". I also remember that it used to be something like "this webpage could not be saved because one of the files is missing" or similar, when I still had IE 7. I tried to save .mhtml using another browser, and there was no problem.

What could be the problem then? If my computer has been infected by a virus/malware, etc.? Or only what setting I need to change (but I doubt it)?

How can I solve this problem? (I really prefer IE 7 or 8 on other browsers).

    Help me please... Thanks ^_^

    Hello D30.

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft answers Forum.

    (1) uninstall IE8 since you were still presenting the same issue with IE7.

    (2) check if you have active modules. If you do, then try with disabled modules.
Go to IE, click on tools, then click on Manage Add-ons, this will show if the modules are on or off. To temporarily disable all add-ons:
Click the Start button, click principally made programs, accessories, click System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

    (3) If you are still not able to save, you have User Account Control (UAC) turned on?
If you disable UAC, you are able to save a web page?
To disable UAC, go to start, Control Panel, Security Center, choose other security settings.
Expand the arrow to the right and you see the user account control. If it is selected, clear and
try to save a page again.

    4) go in Mode safe mode with networking and see if you can save a page. If Yes, then another program or software is interfering and not allowing you to save a page IE.

-Restart your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when you see the boot menu.
-When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select Safe Mode, and then press ENTER.
-Log on to Windows by using the administrator account or any account of a user with administrator privileges.

NOTE: In Safe Mode, your display system and the Bureau will look and perform differently than in Normal Mode. This is only temporary. To return the system to Normal mode, we can simply restart the computer.

If please reply back and let us know if these measures have helped with your question or if you need further assistance.

    Thank you

  • When I open IE msg said "a problem with this web page caused IE to close and reopen the tab."

I have a Compaq CQ60-202US about 3 years and all of a sudden, without making any change in the software that I am aware, whenever I try to open Internet Explorer, it gives me this message, "a problem with this web page caused IE to close & reopen the tab."  I can open Google without any problem. I upgraded to IE 9, but that made no difference. I don't really know what it takes to solve this problem.

    Hello

You can try resetting Internet Explorer as follows: be aware that this will remove bookmarks and saved passwords etc

Open windows control panel, open Internet Options, click the Advanced tab, and then click the reset button.  Click 'Yes' or 'Ok' for all additional guests needed to complete the process.

In case of failure to correct the problem and you are using Windows 7, follow these steps.

Click on the Start Menu and select Control Panel.  Open programs and features, click on "Windows turn features on or off" and remove the check mark next to Internet Explorer 9 click Yes, then OK and then when restart the laptop.

When Windows has restarted, click the Start Menu and select Control Panel.  Open programs and features, click on "Windows turn features on or off" and re-enter the checkmark next to Internet Explorer 9.  Click Yes and then OK and when it is finished installing, restart the computer again.

    Kind regards

I frequently get a pop up that says "' web page addresses do not cause of long-running script." "  It's maddening.

It's all web sites that do, or just a specific or both? If its just one or two sites, try them as 'compatibility mode' - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11

If this does not help, it occurs to these sites if you run IE (assuming you're using IE) "mode without modules? ( [Internet Explore (No. Add ons)])

If still no joy, then see if anything in this article allows --- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/308260#cause it is a long read but has a few things to try for script errors in Internet Explorer.

Cannot get on internet, ebay or by e-mail. I get the page that says - Web page not available-. How can I fix?

Make sure that you are connected to your WiFi network and make sure that an internet connection could be established since the modem (the area where past the line cable or phone) and the router (the box that connects to the modem via ethernet).
