iTunes automatically checks all my pieces purchased at random times

It absolutely makes me in the wall. For some reason I don't understand quite, iTunes checks ALL the songs that I bought in iTunes which seems to be totally random times (but it looks more whenever I do something with iTunes these days, it happened twice this week for example).

For example, earlier I ripped a new CD in iTunes and I wanted to download on my iPhone, but I got an error message because there is not enough room. Well, as you know, there is not enough place because all of a sudden, every song that I bought on iTunes in the past is now checked, even if I uncheck them the other day because it's the same thing; I don't really know why a check mark appears in front of all these songs. I can't even begin to express how sick I am that. I don't really like wasting my time because the software Apple apparently has a mind all of its own... What could be causing it? I would be really grateful if someone could help with that because it makes me crazy...: \

This new audit of the slopes unchecked seems to be a bug in the current generation. In some cases, it seems to affect purchases and may be triggered by a timing device.

The purpose of the check indicator is not primarily to control what is synchronized. It's more than a flag 'ignore this track, unless I deliberately chose to play. The verified status is a poor synchronization control mechanism. The flag can easily be changed by mistake if you accidentally Ctrl + click on a checkbox while trying to select the tracks for other purposes, can prevent play you the content that you are out of your device and don't cut any if you have several devices.

I recommend that synchronize you with selected playlists. You can make a list of everything you want on the device, or make a list of everything that you want to exclude, and a list of smart playlist which is all in the music that is not in the list of exclusions. The second approach means that new acquisitions are always added to the device without extra effort.

  • Why iTunes automatically 'check' all my purchased songs?

After recently updated to 12.3.2.35 and subsequently sign with my apple ID to download their new album, all of a sudden ALL my never purchased pieces were marked as checked and started to copy on my iPhone.

I had carefully unchecked several of these songs over the years of decision making on who I wanted and that I did not. Now, in a moment, all that work has disappeared. It comes to thousands of songs - no easy solution.

Why what happened? Is there a way to cancel it?

    It's infuriating.

    Hello

You can uncheck all of your songs purchased only once. In iTunes, select bought in the sidebar, then click inside the list songs and command + A to select all. CTRL click here and in the menu drop down go down and choose uncheck selection.

I don't know how to restore your original checks, unless it could be done with the iTunes backup restore in Time Machine.

Edit: You might try iTunes / preferences / Store and uncheck the box for music in the automatic downloads.

  • I used him copy / paste to add several checkboxes on my form, but now in preview mode when I check the first box it automatically checks all the boxes.  How can I stop this from happening?

I used him copy / paste to add several checkboxes on my form, but now in preview mode when I check the first box it automatically checks all the boxes.  How can I stop this from happening?

For later use, it happened because your fields have the same field name, and fields with the same name automatically have the same value.

So all you had to do was so each had a unique name and it would have worked, but using the command create several fields is preferable because it renames the fields for rename you them.

  • The iTunes Store is impossible to process purchases at this time?

I have an iPad and for some reason, he's got a message popping up everytime I open YouTube, App Store, settings, etc. that repeat the message "the iTunes Store is impossible to process purchases at this time." I didn't purchase a thing on this particular application, I've ever had!  My iPad is a 4th generation and my computer is the most recent update so... What is going on? Is someone hacking my account?

There seems to be a problem with some services from Apple at this time.

  • When I click on the account it says "iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time."

Whenever I try to update I get the message "the iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Try again later. The same thing happens when I tried to go on my account. What should I do?

There is currently a problem with stores, Apple needs to fix something on their end - keep an eye on this page for when it is fixed: https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

    Try this extension:

The following error, which never happened to me before, started happening to me on the afternoon of 2016-06-02:

The iTunes store cannot process the purchases at the moment, please try again later.

The above error happened on my iOS iPhone 6s 9.3.2 running and my PC Windows 10 (fully patched) as soon as I tried to download some applications updated via the 'Update' tab on the iTunes Apps 12.4.0.119 page.

Since it has * NEVER * happened before * AND * it happens on two different devices using two different networks, I hope it is a temporary problem with the Apple servers.

    1. everyone knows of this issue before?

2 - is a question related to the Apple server that had nothing to do with your devices?

    3. how long took for Apple to fix their server so that you can resume the download of applications (news or updates to existing ones)?

There are a lot of posts on this subject, iCloud and stores are down - keep an eye on this page for when it is fixed: https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

  • ITunes is downloading all items purchased from my iPhone, including tv shows and movies, using all the memory and batteries

ITunes is downloading all items purchased from my iPhone, including tv shows and movies, using all the memory and batteries, does anyone know how to stop this?

    Hi anthony248,

If you don't want the automatic downloads enabled on your iPhone, follow the steps outlined in the article below, except that you will turn off the switch rather than turn them on.  I'll also include a link about the storage capacity of your iPhone and how to delete items that you don't want.

    Turn on automatic downloads

Check your storage space on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

    Take care

  • iTunes will import all content of my Ipod.

Help please... I got a replacement PC running windows 7 and loaded the new version of itunes to she and I plugged my IPod classic and managed to synchronize, however all the songs will not play and I get an error box that says "the song cannot be used because the file is not found... you want to find it.

I checked that the content is on my Ipod and plays, but I can't load in Itunes for some reason any... Need help with this one please...

By design, iTunes sync is generally in one direction, from the computer, iPod.  The exception makes songs purchased on the iTunes Store, iTunes can check the property for these songs; There is a command in iTunes (menu bar) to file-> devices-> transfer purchases...  Otherwise, if your iTunes library lists a song, but his song is not on the computer, you cannot use iTunes to transfer the file of the song off the coast of the iPod.

However, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like 'the ipod transfer', you should get links, including a CNET article

  • Looking for a plugin to automatically update all my favorites.

I've used Opera for a long time and I remember that you could get the plugin it could check if the links to all the bookmarks that you have stored are valid and download icons fav for them. Is there something like this for Firefox?

I have no personal experience, but you could check what is available on the website of modules. Here's a Google search to help you get started:

  • I have about 14 000 songs in my library, about 4 copies of each of them. Try to remove duplicates, but can only do one at a time. I spent many hours, check all the files I want to delete only to find out that I can't delete them both?

I have about 14 000 songs in my iTunes library, but really there are only about a quarter as much because there are so many duplicates. I don't know how they got there in the first place, and try to remove them is infuriating! I have already spent several hours going by checking all the files I want to remove (thinking that I would delete then all files at once) - only to find out that I still have to delete them one at a time. There must be a better way! Help, please.

If you don't know that you want to delete all checked the songs in your library:

    • Create a new smart playlist with the following rules:

This will show then checked all the songs in your library.
    • Select all the items in this playlist (Ctrl-A)
    • Hold the SHIFT key and press DELETE - follow the prompts to remove songs from your library and (if necessary) your PC media files

In case of problem, you must back up your library before you do just in case the results are not what you expect - see tips to the user of turingtest2 on your iTunes for Windows with SyncToy to backup library for a suitable and recommended method.

There is no 'simple' way to reliably remove duplicates from a library, but see the intelligence in this threadon the use of a scripted for removal of duplicates (for example).

Long-term, try and avoid adding anything in your iTunes library that already exists in it - that's how arise the duplicates (unlike an opinion apparently dispersed, iTunes not of is duplicate anything in normal operation).  I've seen several comments suggesting here a few users to correctly copy their library from an old computer to a new one and then add the content of its media files - guaranteed way to finish with a copy of database entries or media files.

  • Try to remove duplicates, "show exact duplicates" check all instances of some songs

I'm trying to remove the duplicates in my iTunes (in thousands) library. I view "replica", but for some songs, it checks all instances of the same song, so I can't delete checked without losing these songs in total. Is there a way to fix this, or what I have to go through the entire library of the song?

Using the latest version of iTunes on a windows PC.  I read the instructions for the removal of duplicates, but my situation is not covered.

    Thank you

If an entry in a list of audit checks another which makes me suspect that you watch a playlist in which the same elements have been added more than once, rather than the main list of music. The boxes are global in iTunes. One of the phases in my deduper script mentioned below clearly these duplicates of playlist, however, in its current form you need to run it on every playlist where you have this problem if only would you fix this type of problem. For the cleaning of the library to start with the source music in the view of songs and use exact replica. The current version requires counties to disk and the number of titles to match who I'm not sure was always necessary. If you don't see any duplicates that you would expect that maybe why.

Official notice of Apple on the duplicates is here: find and remove duplicates in your iTunes library. This is a manual process and article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as the lost coast and membership of playlist, or sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library as well as a removal and recycling the file will break all the others.

Use MAJ > view > show items to reproduce exactly to display the duplicates because it is normally a selection more useful. You must manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sort the list by Date added can make easier select appropriate tracks, but it works better when executed immediately after the dupes were created.  If you have several entries in iTunes connected to a same file on the disk hard then don't not send to trash.

Use my DeDuper script (Windows only) If you are not sure, do not want to do it by hand, or want to maintain ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this background thread , this post for detailed instructions and Please take note of the warning to back up your library before deduping.

(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to temporarily view or CTRL + B to keep displayed.)

The latest version of the script can put away the dead links as long as there is at least a double live to merge his stats and membership of the playlist and must deal wisely when the same file has been added through multiple paths.

  • Is it possible to load the CD (that I put on iTunes years ago) on an iPod Nano to iTunes 9.0.3 (15) on an old MacBook? This is my last chance, as the later versions of iTunes have deleted all this precious music, so I can't be wrong!

Is it possible to load the CD (that I put on iTunes years ago) on an iPod Nano to iTunes 9.0.3 (15) on an old MacBook (OS 10.5.8)? This is my last chance, as the later versions of iTunes have deleted all this precious music, so I can't be wrong!

It is unclear what you are asking, but if the question is (retired), the can transfer songs that are on an iPod nano (and nowhere else) to my current computer?

You cannot use iTunes.  By design, iTunes sync is generally in one direction, from your computer to the iPod.  The exception is purchased songs on the iTunes Store, iTunes can verify ownership of these songs (command in the menu bar iTunes -> devices-> transfer purchases of [name of the iPod] file).  However, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like 'the ipod transfer', you should get a few links, including a CNET article.

Once the files of the song on your disc, you can add them to your current iTunes library.

  • My computer is no longer automatically recognizes all the devices inserted in the disks.

My computer is no longer automatically recognizes all the devices inserted into readers, like a CD or SD card photo. Recently I bought a micro sd card for my phone, but when I insert in the USB port, it recognizes that no more. How to do that everything works again. I have XP Service Pack 2

    Hi Danny Bralski,

-Did you change on your computer before this problem?

Follow the steps listed in the order.

Method 1: Check if the USB port is defective.

If you connect a USB device to a defective port, the device will not work. Try connecting the device to a different port. If all USB ports are in use, disconnect one of the other devices and plug the problematic device into that port.

Method 2: Check if there is a problem with the device.

If you have another computer that is working properly, plug this computer to see if you encounter the same problem. If you have the same problem, there could be a problem with the unit.

If you believe that your device is defective, contact the manufacturer.

Method 3: Run the troubleshooter from the link given below:

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows
