    Hello Whippetcat!

You're eager to start your iTunes game after getting a new computer now.  We will check!

Go ahead and download iTunes configuration of game on the new computer, but without adding her cleaned file of music to your iTunes yet. Once iTunes game is configured, you can then Select all (Ctrl + A) to highlight all the songs in the library of mutilated.  Then delete them.  Go to the Store menu at the top of iTunes (eventually hitting CTRL + B to make it appear) and choose Update iTunes game.  In this way it scans that all music is part and implemented to date.  From there, then you can add your folder cleaned up music to iTunes, update iTunes new game and let it start downloading your desired songs.

After the recent update to iTunes, my computer is not recognized in iTunes game.  I am subscribed to iTunes game. My library shows the status of iCloud, and yet when I go into the Match iTunes from the iTunes store, it asks if I want to add this computer.  When I connect and ask the computer to add, nothing happens.  Shouldn't iTunes recognize my that my computer is a Subscriber?

    Hello

Connect to iTunes. Go to Menu > iTunes > Preferences > general and make iCloud sure music library is checked.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

Once iTunes to work properly, you should be able to fix your device.

  • I signed up for Apple music and since then I can't synchronize playlists from my computer to my phone because it says I have iTunes game turned on, but I do not subscribe to iTunes recently Match (ish). How to make this stop?

I signed up for Apple music and since then I can't synchronize playlists from my computer to my phone because it says I have iTunes game turned on, but I do not subscribe to iTunes recently Match (ish). How to make this stop?

    Hello

You cannot synchronize in usb or wifi if you subscribe to the Apple's music. The basic principle of the AM is that your iTunes library is scanned to determine what can be matched or must be downloaded. Once completed, all the music you will be available to listen to or download on your iOS device.

  • iTunes game duplicates (after re-download songs without DRM)

    Hello

I recently signed up for iTunes game to upgrade all the pieces purchased between 2003 and 2009, which were laced with DRM (digital rights) and unplayable on my SONOS system. After the Match has completed its process, I found that a lot of songs have been duplicated in my iTunes library, see the attachment.

I read on this Forum that the answer is simple: simply remove the redundant tracks, which I am ok to do (even if it's a lot of work...). But my question is: WHICH of the 2 I should delete the iTunes library? Those with the little cloud + Basel icon (kind = "purchased AAC audio file"), or those without the icon ('audio file AAC matched')?

This is iTunes on an iMac with OS X Yosemite.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    PL

It is unusual that iTunes could correspond to files that have been purchased through iTunes. Most of the time all your purchased tracks should have already been available for download on high without DRM sampling rate and should not count toward the limit of your correspondence. The only ones who * would * match would be albums that have been deleted after having bought and added later, iTunes library may be an another aggregator or etiquette or reissue.

Files without the icon are real which exist in your library. Those with the icon cloud is in the cloud. I guess what's happened here is that you have the original version of cloud when you bought the files and now you have matched the actual downloads therefore to new versions of the albums in the cloud. If the bit rate is the same (not precise in your screenshot above), then I would like to delete the corresponding versions because I would not count towards the limit of my game files that are already offered to me to my iTunes purchase history. This is just one example where iTunes has replaced the versions of these files that you have purchased with other versions on the store.

  • iTunes game is automatically downloading songs on the phone

What is happening here! I used iTunes game of the years without any problems. Yesterday, I decided to add some new music on my Mac for shooting in game because the limit of songs have been reunited. The next thing you know I see warning on my iPhone being full. Took a look and the iPhone has been automatically download all the new music that I had added to iTunes on Mac.

  • Cancel the iTunes game that changed versions of my music to different

I downloaded a lot of music from a CD over the years and then added to my iTunes library on my phone. I recently got a new phone and used the cloud as my backup. Now, a lot of songs are different versions than the original that I downloaded and I don't want any. Can I delete iTunes match to recover the originals? I had not never asked the iTunes service game in the first place and I hate that they change just the album covers, titles, and even the song itself!

    Greetings maddiejoanna,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support and congratulations on your new iPhone! It's very exciting to get a new iPhone.

I see that you have downloaded music from a CD to your iTunes over the years, and after you have restored your iPhone, a lot of songs are different versions than the original. You want to disable iTunes game (or, possibly, iCloud music library as they provide similar functionality) and recover the original songs. I understand perfectly. I want to help you find your original songs.

You will need to disable iTunes game, iCloud music library or if necessary both in iTunes and on your iPhone. The following articles will help you locate the music library iTunes game and iCloud on each device. Just make sure that you disable each:

Use iTunes on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch game

Use your subscription to Apple's music to get your music on all your devices

In addition, if you prefer not to use these services, you can use the following page to check that the necessary subscriptions were cancelled:

View, change or cancel your subscription

    Best regards.

  • iTunes game load all music iPhone mu

After registration to match and activating iTunes iTunes game on my iOS that the library device starts to download until it completely fills my phone. If I delete the albums as albums more download. All this makes my iPhone unusable 6s. Note that I've settled out automatic downloads. It happened a few times now. For correct I disable iTunes game and remove all music. Don't know how else to add music. My 2008 macbook Pro OSX10.7 running iTunes 12.2.2.25 but is not compatible with my 6s (which would have been nice to know before bailing on my 5s).

I use iOS 9.2 on a 6 s. Is all or nothing? I want just a few albums on my iPhone?

On the advice of a friend, I turned off iTunes game. Restarted my phone and waited two days before putting the game on my phone and that worked! All is well now. Apparently game needed more time to the music of the index of my home music server.

I also find an upgrade to OSX 8.5 which should make my my Mac 6s.

  • If I have iTunes game my music will take even up to 10 GB of my iCloud space?

If I subscribe to Match iTunes my music will take still a part of my iCloud save the "cloud"? Music and photos do not count when iCloud is out, but after that work is suddenly wasn't. So now I have 20 GB backup and its almost full. I wish I had iTunes game, but it wouldn't make much sense if he did not save me some space on my iCloud drive! I don't have even a third of my music imported in my iTunes library or on my iPhone, because I have no room for it. I have a very large library. If I get the iTunes game I would have access to all my music, or at least most, but if it is still used my iCloud backup space then it would be foolish to pay for iTunes game, then have to pay more for even more storage on the cloud! I hope this feeling!

The music is not part of your back upward.

If you do not use iTunes game it will not use your iCloud storage space either.

  • iTunes game

I had a problem several weeks that my iPhone 4S lost connection when I was near the border of the United States. When I rebooted, it all my iTune game tunes have disappeared. Titles appeared, but were grayed out and my playlists, which are many, were empty. I tried to reboot and tried everything suggested by Apple, but nothing helped. I have an exceptionally large library so it's the only way I can access all my songs. Now I have that the most recent purchased available air. Even the music I have purchased from iTunes over the past 11 years is largely disappeared from the Cloud. I had game since the beginning and have never had this kind of problem. Clues? I see that many others have had similar problems recently.

    Russell Johnson2 Hello!

I know how it is important to make sure music is properly sync on your iPhone 4. Without knowing exactly what you have tried, I recommend later in this article: get help with iTunes game

If you do not see your library of iTunes on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch game

If your iTunes library Match is missing, restart your iOS device.

If you can still see after reboot:

    1. Turn off iCloud music library and then turn on again.
      1. Go to settings > music.
      2. Turn off iCloud music library.
      3. Close the settings.
      4. Go to settings > music.
      5. Turn on iCloud music library.
    2. Sign out of iTunes , and then sign back in.

Also, check out the following steps:

If some of your songs are missing or the names of the song are grayed out

If the songs you have purchased are missing or the song names appear in gray, they could use the digital rights (DRM) management. You must allow your computer before you can play these songs.

Once you allow it, choose file > library > update iCloud music library on the bar menu at the top of your computer screen.

I hope these steps help! See you soon!

  • Download from itunes game problems

iTunes game is of no use to me. I have only had it hoping that it would save everything before that my hard drive has been replaced, but no luck so I didn't renew. I downloaded all the music to my mac and my iphone, however, do not renew the service, music that had certainly been downloaded on my phone (indicated by the phone with a checkmark icon) return soley on the cloud that I have to pay $25 for. Someone else has experienced this problem or know of a way around having to spend more money to get my music? (Apple keeps the history of purchases for more than 4 years, so more that 3/4 of my library cannot be simply re-uploaded. I contacted apple several times on the recovery of past history of purchase and that the only response that actually my question that I thought they could try to search for individual songs of each order number, which I had no idea that I had to keep for thousands of purchases).

If the media is always on your iPhone, see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device. Have you changed your Apple account information. I have purchases dating back to 2007.
