  Christmas recording in the groups tool shows that you have chosen can have a default value, workspace. This means that users are in a group and can be added to the workspace - individually or in groups. The addition will have to be done manually.

• Contacts, which I just added to the phone does not show the phone but visible on Mac

  I don't know when, in recent weeks, what happens to the show started, but I just noticed today. I just added a few contacts to my iphone race 5 the latest iOS, and when I find or search in the list, they appear. For example, I added a person whose surname Honda, and when I search, I can only find the name of the Honda dealer I've added years previously, not the new contact with the surname Honda.

  However, when I look in my mini Mac contacts, new people are there! I can't understand why they are not appearing on the iPhone, which is where I really need them to be.

  I understand your position when you add a contact on your iPhone 5 it does not appear in the Contacts application, but appears on your Mac. I know how important it is that you are able to see all the contacts that you create on your iPhone.

  I check the Contacts and make sure that all groups are selected. Press Contacts > groups (upper-left). Make sure that all your groups have a control on the right side. Also, make sure you see hide all Contacts. If you see all the Contacts, click View all Contacts.

  Windows, start your task manager, go to the process tab, then scroll to CCLibrary.exe * 32, select, and then click the button complete the process down to the right. It will ask if you really want to end the process, click on end process. The process restarts automatically and your libraries re - will appear in your CC applications.

• Cannot sync the new songs from IPod after transfer library external HD

  A few days ago, I consolidated my library on my external HD to clear a space on my PC (Surface Pro 3). Then, yesterday, I downloaded a new album and even though my iPod shows on ITunes it has not added the new album.

  Music sync is unchecked, but I don't want to lose what is now on my IPod to Sync music. I tried to do the thing "Choose library", but when I click on the ITunes Media folder on my external hard drive it opens just the folder. It won't let me set it as my library.

  Any suggestions on what to do?

  Sound like you may not be having the media on external rather than the entire library. If so the shift Start iTunes, use the option create and make a new iTunes library called iTunes at the root of the drive, move your media folder in the iTunes folder and then add content to the library. See make a library of portable split for some information on the Organization of the library.

  See also recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device. You may be able to recover ratings and playlists to the device.

• iTunes won't let me not sync my phone more?

  So I've recently updated my 5 c to 10 iOS iPhone and usually, if I connect my phone to my laptop (it's all a Dell Inspiron 15 with 10 windows), iTunes will automatically open and start to synchronize. Before, I had an older version of iTunes and it said that there was an invalid response received on my phone so I uninstalled iTunes and got the latest version. But now with the new version of iTunes when I connect my phone to my laptop, something which is called "Phone comparison" appears instead of iTunes and I don't know what to do. If I open iTunes manually, it does not recognize that a phone is connected and the option to show the information of my iPhone is not there.

  What version of iTunes are you running? Where did you downloaded it go?

  I back up my data to an external drive for several reasons.  The first is my data - if I put on the cloud, someone else has control over it, they can see what I have and change the preferences to what they see of marketing.

  Almost as important as that - if I had to rely on the cloud whenever I wanted to update my playlists on my phone, I need a better internet connection I have now (working at sea).  To get the best out of the cloud, you need a solid link to home, work or mobile.

  As a spin-off - I hate the fact that Apple take away a feature in their software updates and then allow an app to be sold in their store to replace this feature - or worse still, some features that were available before the updates are now "cloud only."  And Yes - you have to pay for the cloud.  I like most of the people do not appreciate the 'accomplished fact. "

  From the back of the external hard drive ASI downside, is that to be safe, you need to store outside in a separate computer place.  If keep you them together, if one is lost, probably, they are both.  That is to say for me a full backup before you travel, then a new upward as soon as I go home.  Downside is how much data may be lost between the two back ups if I needed to restore.  For me, its worth the risk.  If I was away and say had bought a ton of new music and couldn't go home anytime soon, I can always head to the store and buy a new external drive, they are massively expensive.  Even if my computer has to go for repair and my remote is to halfway around the world - I want to buy a new one.

  Now, some will say that once you buy a new external, you spend more than you would on a cloud subscription.  It's true, but in the 6 years following the purchase of Mac that I've only had to buy a new external once - so with a little luck and planning - it works.

  I left took well - I am not a subscriber of cloud, nor do I want to be.

  I have iTunes game and have all my music downloaded on my Mac and my iPhone with is my preference.  I understand that if I start a subscription to the music of Apple, my downloads will be deleted and I'll have to go through the process of downloading all my music again for both devices.  Is this true?
