iTunes - songs of Innocence purchase

I just bought an iPhone (August 2016) and was surprised to find that the album Songs of Innocence by U2 has also appeared as my single purchase. Know that a couple of years, this was provided free of charge, but according to my records of credit card payment of £1.58 is waiting. As I have not knowingly ordered anything from iTunes and am not a fan of U2, it's all a bit strange. Any ideas?

  • How to restore Drive Backup iTunes songs

I removed the 10.11.6 OSX from my MacBook Pro to mid-2012, then restored, but my content has been removed for the most part. I was able to restore individual files from my external backup drive, but almost all of my iTunes songs have disappeared. The few that I purchased from iTunes store are only those remaining. How can I find the missing songs and playlists on the backup and restore on iTunes? I searched 'mp3', album and artist name and no luck.

  • iTunes songs before the track Cup is over

    user of iTunes game.

Behavior of the laptop (MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end of 2012):)

    * Song playback stops and goes to the next song (from the album in mp3 I import into my library) anywhere between 20 and 120 seconds to play in the song.

    * iTunes songs to Match 'Match' then toggled to the server version, never jump.

    * Match songs iTunes which are classified as "Uploaded" are always prime suspects to be cut at the beginning.

    * Same behavior as laptop - stops while exact titles "Uploaded" with the same problem.

    (4) new album, I downloaded from 1 January 2016 (not to imply the new year is the problem, just a coincidence)

    All the solutions out there?

My guess is that there is something odd about these songs MP3 files, iTunes does not like (and also affects playback on the iPhone).  No matter how it is added to the iTunes library, or through your music to iCloud library (for unloading), the problem persists.  When the song is, iTunes doesn't have a problem with the AAC to Apple Server version because it's a totally different file.  But if you convert to AAC format using iTunes, iTunes uses the MP3 file of source with this problem.

If you open the MP3 file using QuickTime Player (right click file and Open with-> QuickTime Player), he plays the song all along.  If so, use the command in the menu bar (for QuickTime Player) to the file-> export-> iTunes.  The song is converted to AAC and added to your iTunes library.  See if this version is played throughout in iTunes.

  • I already bought the movie HD, 'V for Vendetta', before it came with "iTunes Extras" but my purchased copy does not come with the Extras. Is there a way to fix this without having to buy the movie again?

I already bought the movie HD, 'V for Vendetta', before it came with "iTunes Extras" but my purchased copy does not come with the Extras. Is there a way to fix this without having to buy the movie again?

I was told that movies in the iTunes Store can be changed to include "iTunes Extras" if originally it did not come with extras. But there is a catch you get just the extras if you buy just the issue for the first time. If you have already purchased it, your version may not have the extras. This means that if you want the extras, buy the movie again.

If you now get the Extras will depend on what the movie studio did for example if they have updated the version you have purchased, or replaced by a new version (which will be treated as a separate purchase): buy and play movies with iTunes Extras - Apple Support

    My PC: Windows Vista Business

Problem: I am changing a video with Windows Movie Maker. To add music, I bought and downloaded a number of songs with my iTunes account. The songs play on my PC only when you use the iTunes software. The extension of file on the songs is "m4a".

When I try to play one of the songs in Windows Media Player, I get the following message:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file. »

When I try to import one of the songs in Windows Movie Maker, I get the following message:

Where can I find the "codec" above to download?  This will solve my problem?  Any advice to avoid this problem in the future?

M4A is not a compatible format. The simple solution
is to convert .m4a files in .wma format and
    then import into Movie Maker.

The following free Converter works for me...

    Free Mp3 Wma Converter

(FWIW if you install the converter, you can uncheck

the CD Ripper and Easy MP3 Cutter)

I joined just thinking... the free VLC Media Player

  • try to download already downloaded iTunes songs

When I buy new songs and they begin to download, they are in a queue behind several songs previously downloaded which start to download again. There is no logic for the songs in the queue, they are just random songs from different albums already purchased. My problem is that I can only pause downloading these songs, I can't get rid of them except by allowing them to download completely and then their removal from iTunes files. Probably would not be serious, but I rely on very limited and very expensive download limits each month.

Can I get rid of these songs before you start to download automatically again?

In iTunes > Preferences > store disable all options for automatic downloads. Use iTunes - official Apple support or report a problem with the links in your account history and ask the iTunes Store support team to reset your download queue.

  • iTunes renames mess up purchased albums

Back some time ago I bought Maroon 5's "Animals" on the album "V (Deluxe Version)", it seems that since iTunes time felt the need to change the name of the album on the store to 'V (Deluxe)' and thus not sync my purchase with the live servers information. When I load 'V (Deluxe)' on the store, he says that I didn't buy songs on the album and when I insert "V (Deluxe Version)" in my library it shows my purchase and when I click on the button "See the complete album" he says there is nothing to display. Also, when I go to "Complete my album" he said I can complete 'V' the normal version, but it does not list the deluxe versions. It is an example of the many times that the (iTunes) fire nation attacked, and the result is that if I buy another song from the 'V (Deluxe)' it will count my 'V (Deluxe Version)' and 'V (Deluxe)' as separate the 2 albums. No one ever thought that maybe one day I might have wanted to complete my album, but now she wants to buy the album at full price and actually pay twice 'animals '? And even if, I decided to finish the album and want to only a few songs from it, I would then have to go change the album information and make a compilation of songs merge them into 1 album review that needed to be done before that I bought the album.

As I said before this is not the first time that this has happened. I bought a time "Counting the stars" by OneRepublic "Native (Deluxe Version)" and then later discovered iTunes has changed the name of "Native (Deluxe Edition)" which gave me the same problem, to find out later that they got rid of the album deluxe altogether leaving only the album base 'Native' in the store. I know there have been more cases than this, but these are both more fresh in my mind.

I just send a support request before writing this, but the character limit is maddening. I was able to put in about half of my first paragraph, so good luck to one who gets my email to try to understand same whats going on. Seriously who imposed these limits of character and why? They really think it would be more effective to help their customers by having the customer to send in 3-4 emails with a few hundred words each compared to a with severed paragraphs that would be long of 1 read emails but at least in total?

Neither iTunes nor Apple decide how to name the albums. The album distributors are.

  • iTunes password after each purchase request

I'm trying to update my music and the purchase of new songs, but iTunes prompts me to enter my password for each purchase. I did research to find a solution, but are slow to come to one that works. Maybe I'm missing something simple, but I can't seem to find where I can disable this option.

    Any help would be appreciated.

iTunes > Preferences > Store > Password Settings > change the setting for purchases and Dowmloads free for what you want to learn more.

  • unchecked active iTunes songs after launch (without asking)

Whenever I run iTunes the first time after starting the PC, it is active about 300 songs I listened long (so I disabled, but they were always in my library).

It seems to be watched iTunes all my purchases and activated/checked again without asking.

When I restore my library, it takes only a few seconds, and the songs are here again.

I unchecked all automatically download the settings and so on, I also disabled Genius.

I don't want to delete my songs, I want to stay disabled. I also fear that they came upward then as checked and downloadable. I also uninstalled all components of iTunes in the right order, but it did not help either.

I don't know what to do, and I have not found anyone else with this crazy problem.

This seems to be a 'feature' of the current generation. If all goes well it will be set to the following. At the same time making a playlist of tracks that should be deselected, so if they are checked once again you can ctrl-click all checked in the list to uncheck all the.

  • iTunes songs on the iPhone only organized by artist

My iPhone just 6Plus upgraded to the 10.0.1 iOS.  Now, my iTunes library shows only the songs organized by artist.  There is no way for me to change that.  I tried to connect my phone to my mac and change the 'View' to sort by the name of the song, but it still doesn't work.  No matter if I look at the songs or playlists, everything is sorted by artist name.  How can I change this?

Settings > music > songs of sorting & Albums > choose "by title".
