iTunes - stay on Win 7 64 bit upgrade, win 10 64-bit

I am running Win 7 64 bit on an older PC (disputed material 4 GB memory limitation). I have an iPhone TO an ipad mini and an old ipad.

Specifically regarding iTunes - should I stay with what works fine now (Win 7 64-bit) or take advantage of the free upgrade (?) to win 10 64 bit.

Yes, I know... a little late to ask this question. I keep procrastinating.  I search for related positions, did not find anything that general.

If you decide to improve see your iTunes backup for Windows with SyncToy library for a backup plan proposed. iTunes seems does not fare terribly well during an upgrade on Windows 10 site so it might be an idea to uninstall all Apple software before upgrading, and then reinstall later. • How can I go back to iTunes 12.3.2 12.4? Upgrade went wrong - very bad!

I let iTunes upgrade to 12.4 12.3.2 on my win 10 portable 64-bit. Subsequently, the "subfolder" which was labeled bought ' under library in my music went along with all of my downloaded music. Then I went to get my downloaded Apps and they were missing too. So I went to my old Apple ID to recover my purchased applications and music. Now I can't get back my ID for 90 days. So now, Miss me all my playlists, my 'bought subfolder' with music inside, all my applications purchased and free movies. So, how can I return worm 12.3.2 iTunes or difficulty of this version 12.4? I'm so frustrated!

  • After update Itunes 10 to WIN and Iphone 6 do not sync.  I tried most of the solutions I found in support.  Suggestions welcome.

I am more able to synchronize Itunes using the USB between WIN 10 PC and Iphone 6.  I've never had a problem until I recently installed the latest updates of ITunes on my PC and the phone.     Win 10 Itunes version 12.3.3.17 Iphone IOS 9.3.1.  Sorry that I wasn't able to thin Iphone Itunes version however was informed after checking the updates that I was using more current.   I tried most of the solutions found under Apple support, including the abolition of the lockdown on my PC Itunes folder as recommended.  Hoping someone has a solution.  Very frustrating when something worked very well and no longer works after installing the latest updates.

  • Where is my application App Store and iTunes? !!! Since the upgrade to 9.2.1 both on my ipad

For iTunes, if you do not find the app Store in iTunes then you hide it via settings > general > Restrictions?

To the App Store, that have you tried to see if that fixes it for example you have:

    -logged on and your account

-closed the app from the App Store via the taskbar of the iPad

-do a soft-reset/reboot of the iPad

  • iTunes not radio not work properly after upgrade to iOS9.2.1

Im having the problem following since the upgrade to 9.2.1

When I opened my music and select the radio option, I click one of my custom radio and it opens as if he will play, he returns to the main screen of the music and then an ad for Apple music appears.  The same happens when I try to load any station except 1 bat and NPR (which I don't, I just clicked to test).

I tried to restart my phone, use wifi or cellular data, but it continues to be.  It started as soon as I updated my software.

I have an iPhone 6, if it changes anything.

Everyone knows this problem, hopefully it fixing?  I'm out of luck until the next update?

IT has nothing to do with the update. Apple offers is no longer free iTunes Radio other than Beats and one or two other stations. You need to subscribe to Apple music if you want iTunes radio.

  • Error in the installation of the new iTunes update. Windows 7, 32 bit.

    Hi all

After download and save the last iTunes updated during the installation I received the message "Service"Apple Mobile Service"was able to start. Make sure you have sufficient privileges to start system services"pressing retry, I received the same message. Pressing Cancel, the installation of the canceled update. Ignore pressing them, I got a successful installation message. Then, by double-clicking on the shortcut for the program, I received the message "Itunes is not installed correctly. Please, reinstall ITunes.  Error 7 (Windows error 126).

I followed the whole procedure to uninstall ITunes, update the software Apple, Apple Mobile Device Support, Hello and Apple Application Support.

I restarted my computer. I ran the apdate as administrator and I'm done with the same message that icudt49.dll is missing on my computer.

I received, in addition, the message MSVCR80.dll is missing on my computer.

I went to the Services section and tried to start 'Apple Mobile Service' (it was my first error during installation). I received the error 1053, the service did not open on time.

I tried sfc / scannow without error message. In fact the screen in the command line moved up very quickly.

I visited the Itunes support page with the same results.

I apologize for this very long document.

Any idea to solve this problem? It seems that the update is incorrect. Do you agree?

    Thanks in advance. John Kanellopoulos

  • "itunes has stopped working" Win 10

    Hi all

iTunes worked very well for me in Win10, until the last update. (12.3.3.17) now, whenever I run iTunes, I get the message "iTunes has stopped working" and the program stops. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program as detailed here...

Troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates

.. .but the program still "stops working."

My system Win10 House, 64-bit, all of the updates. iTunes is 64 bits, too.

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

I had a lot of problem with my iTunes crashing / freezing - up after I've upgraded to the latest version also.

In my case, the symptoms were different, but after trying many possible solutions, which had no effect at all, I discovered the following post useful here:

    Empty/corrupted library iTunes after upgrade/crash

While the symptoms are different, because you have already tried to reinstall the software, perhaps the problem may be related to your library, iTunes, or (as in my case), seems to be a problem caused by the Apple's music, which only manifested itself during the access artists in iTunes that I have previously set to 'follow' Apple music!

After that I've disabled showing music Apple (from the tab general in iTunes Properties) as suggested in this article, all of a sudden my iTunes stopped freezing / crashing.

If your iTunes library is potentially corrupted, the following Apple article should be very useful:

If you do not see your content once you update iTunes - Apple Support

    I hope this helps!

  • Satellite Pro S300-121: Installation of Win 7 64-bit: Yes or no

I have win7 32 bit on my Satellite Pro S300-121.
I have 4 GB of ram installed.
Should I install the 64 bit version, or I will not see any difference in speed?

I know I have to do a clean install, but is it useful for S300-121 all pros and cons anyway, your thoughts

    Hello
Your laptop has been equipped with 4 GB of RAM.
But Win 32 bit can handle only 3.2 GB. So this could be a key reason to switch to Win 7 64 bit OS because the 64-bit would recognize the full 4 GB of RAM.
But if you use programs and the software that is compatible only with the 32-bit system, then I would recommend staying with Win 7 32 bit OS.
But new software can be installed on 32-bit and 64-bit systems

  • New iTunes installation problem on Win 7

As indicated in the title, I am facing this problem when installing iTunes on my win 7. I tried to uninstall my previous iTunes before you run the new installer, but that didn't work either.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

PC came with Home Premium preinstalled, so have only startup disk and not the cd of Windows 7 Home Premium full to perform a complete reinstallation.

    Hello

I had similar problems with my laptop 64-bit Windows 7 & iTunes.  Finally, I have iTunes installed 10.5.1.42, thanks to a friend who has downloaded onto a CD using their Apple laptop.

The installation of thin attempts, where the previous CD was working using the direct download did not, despite trying many options, such as turning off the firewall and virus checkers and using another Manager download (Softonic) instead of iTunes.

Downloaded Softonic iTunes 10.4 despite my 10.5 selection, and despite it, saying he was downloading 10.5.  iTunes installed 10.4 successfully, unfortunately I needed 10.5 to update my iPhone OS.

When I saw the 10.5 iTunes download (downloaded via iTunes), using 7 - zip, the message "broken file" appears next to each file in the screen of 7 - zip.  It seems that the problem was with a corrupted download.

Once I installed iTunes 10.5.1.42 from the CD, I went to update my iPhone OS via iTunes and my computer laptop 64 bit of Windows 7, but guess what... download corrupted file iPhone OS.  If the same friend upgraded my iPhone OS using their Apple laptop.  I then synch had the iPhone with my own laptop.
