Hi all

I use Oracle JDeveloper 9i and OAF: 11.5.10.6RUP

I installed Jdeveloper and try to run a simple exercise to Hello world that appears in the index file.

I put the .dbc file in the C:\setups\JDeveloper\jdevhome\jdev\dbc_files\secure folder.

I did some basic steps in this exercise, such as creating a new page and create a custom package to store files asoracle.apps.ak.hello.

and adjust the runtime connection.

In fact everything in connection TIME I gave the .dbc files.

and I made a silly mistake here I remove the default user name and password and put my new password username as apps/appsdev

Bydefault username is fwktester and not sure any password but now I put as a welcome.

Application short name: AK

key responsibility: FWK_TBX_TUTORIAL.

When I ran the page it displays an error such as;

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: DNF, name of the Message: SYSTEM ERROR. Chips: MESSAGE not = no driver. (Could not find message because there is no connection to the base)

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: DNF, Message name: FND_GENERIC_MESSAGE. Chips: MESSAGE = java.sql.SQLException: no driver is appropriate; (Could not find message because there is no connection to the base)

I guess the problem is with my name or short with my user name or password.

You can get responsibility_key and application_short_name for a responsibility by using views fnd_responsibility_vl and fnd_application.

I just installed Coldfusion 11 on a new version of Windows 7. In addition, the latest version of WAMP (to develop my databases).
I created a data source and using MySQL5 for my driver. When I try to connect to my database (created in WAMP) I get the following error:

Simply download the driver - MySQL: download Connector/J

Extract the jar file. Then put the pot in the CF11 install lib directory. Which Windows is C:\Coldfusion11\cfusion\lib by default.

Restart CF11, and check its loading up by looking at the system settings option in the administrator of CF or by adding a db connection.

It occurs when the database is completely down.
But it could happen if the database is blocked and you try to create a large number of connections.
Watch this forum for more information on too many files open.

Here it is the settings used by me:

DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:oracle:thin@localhost:1521/XE","hr","hr")

the driver being used is oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

the used container is ojdbc14.jar is

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

We tried to replace the jar. (ojdbc6.jar, xdb6.jar, and xmlparserv2.jar) files in the following path

Server put potted path: / opt/infra/cesb/apps/domains/dev/custcare-asdc-dev-domain/lib (project specific).

However, this does not work.

Then we tried comparing the driver JDBC-OCI of both environments, i.e. the sandbox and the scene. Both have proved to be different.

The final changes that gives no error in the processing of the application are;

1. now, we use the JDBC-OCI instantclient-basic - linux.x 64 - driver 11.2.0.3.0

2. our environment:

-WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.6.0

-Oracle Service Bus Version: 11.1.1.6

When I click on the first time on lov torch his works very well and return values...

Run ADF Model Tester I got the error (java.sql.SQLException) invalid column type. prompts to insert a line. I used instead of timestamp date by getting the same error. Any ideas?

You can copy the complete stack trace? It works if you change BigInteger in full (recent fix, it was a bug with the JDBC driver)
