  The problem is that there are a number of system of folder names that have been changed in later versions of Windows after XP.

  Examples:

  C:\ Documents and Settings is now C:\Users

  C:\Application Data is now C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming

  Parameters of C:\Local is now C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local

  C:\All users now is C:\ProgramData

  And there is a lot of changes in name/location.

  To make it even more confusing, each of these folders that have been changes of name/location includes a junction , which is the original XP folder name, at the original location of XP. These junctions are used to redirect software more old programs installed that are hard coded to look for the old XP to a folder name. These junctions are recognizable by a shortcut arrow on the folder.

  Well, you could stop using EPS for beginners.

  It's an antiquated file format. Use instead HAVE or PDF from Illustrator.

  And one more thing, stop send native files to a print and send a PDF file. Who will take care of all your problems.

  All that being said, I suspect somewhere in EPS files, there are still some information from the police, but without seeing them I would just guess.

• Inserting Image mystery using the attribute in the structured element

  I work in FM10 on Windows XP Pro. However, the models at the company where I am currently Contracting have been developed over the years, since the FM 7 or 8, with different authors and developers to refine their. Which makes them difficult to decipher at times.

  Currently, I'm trying to understand how elements of the notes works so I can fix it to work when you bind the FM source files to RoboHelp. When you click on the 'Note' parent element, you can choose from four different attributes (as shown below for ESD): note, tip, caution and warning.

  When you choose one of these attributes, it automatically inserts a graphic symbol (exclamation point, star, pencil, etc.). You then choose the next child element that creates a paragraph directly to the right of the graphic symbol.

  The problem is, I can't understand where this chart comes in the parent element and associated attributes. I thought it must be extracted from the style of paragraph, either as an image of the reference page and or symbols of the numbering of the paragraph Designer section. But I'm not either of those things anywhere. For what it's worth, the graphics look like they come from a police (see screenshot).

  The word "note" comes to the next child element and the associated paragraph style, it is designated in the numbering/AutoNumber Format: box with an associated font. The lines above and below it are similarly advanced/Frame Above / Below the FMP: setting. All this is quite easy; the attribute image... not so much.

  Can anyone tell me please where to hunt for the source of this image attribute insertion?

  In summary, I think that the images are caused by prefixes text inserted by ESD for the element, using the Zapfdingbats font.

  There are a whole bunch of prefixes text in there, but most use the Zapfdingbats font. This font is just a bunch of small icons as pencil your screenshot shows the image. For example, the line:

  .. .will be insert a tab, then a slash in Zapfdingbats. I bet that if you apply Zapfdingbats to one of you to the paragraphs, and then type a forward slash, you will get one of those pictures you've been see.

  The evidence would be to change these characters in the prefix rules and see if the images change. Because I have not the police, I can't do it. But because I can't do, it proves to me that the source is indeed the police and the prefix characters. Make sense now?

  I'm new relativaly in LabVIEW (experience only about 2 weeks). I am currently control a stepper motor using a structure of the event. Similar to the sample code given by LIFA, I entered my settings how the engine not move away, then press a button on the windows before, and it works this way. I also have other equipment that works as well in LabVIEW, as a transnational step; all components operate individually.

  Now, I'm trying to make the more automated system and to ensure that all the different equipment work in the same code. So, I tried to implement a structure of the event using a text as an input file to try to control events. The text file has a table 1 d of numbers going down vertically (only the line numbers change). So, I used a table of index function to take the numbers one by one, use a loop (while loop in this example) to go to the bottom of the column of numbers. However, the event not register the change, even if the indicator shows the value is changing.

  Attached, it's my test code and the text file that I use to try to control the structure of the event. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

  Oh, now I understand what you tried to say. I'm using a loop and a case structure to activate different events with the entries in the table. I thought case structures and event were the same, but you taught me the event structures are used just for the façade stuff. Thank you all!

• Right-click in the structure of the event for Mac OS

  I put a right-click to activate a case of event (with the mouse down? function) in a structure of the event. It works fine in Windows 7.

  But when I try this in Mac 10.10. This does not at all.

  I connected an indicator in the "button" in the case of the mouse down and found the two clicks left and do a right-click returns 1.

  In Windows 7, left click returns 1 and do a right-click returns the value 2.

  Does anyone know how to activate the right click for the structure of the event under Mac OS?

  Thanks for your inquiry. The attached VI uses programming structures: while in the loop, the structure of the event and structure of the case. You'd have to change is in fact the case structure. Before going to, let us go through the different structures. Open the block diagram by going to the Menu bar of the front panel and go to the window-> open diagram.

  

  The while loop resembles a Do loop in text-based programming. It runs until a condition is met. Since the attached VI, it stops running when you click the exit button.

  The event structure is a structure that consists of sous-schemas. The structure meets the interactions with the objects of the front panel. For example, if you click Start or stop in the façade, the structure of the event will be a case that corresponds to this interaction. In the attached VI, the case, which corresponds to the interaction with the button start or stop, called 'Start', 'Stop': change the value. Each box contains an event handling routine.

  Structures of the case are like spending statements in the programming of text. Take a look at the 'Start', 'Stop': value change event. It contains a routine which consists of a box structure. The case structure meets the called Start input terminal (which is in fact the Start button on the front panel). The case structure switches between cases according to this entry. To display the different case just browse the structure of the case by clicking the left and right buttons. There are only two cases: true or false, as the entrance is a Boolean value.

  Now let's take a look at the VI. Take a look at the case "Timeout" of the structure of the event. This is where the change should be made. Change the structure of matter by editing the case. Change the numbers in the structures of the case: ... 20000 to ... 50000 and 20001 at 50001 This should do the trick.

  My GUI application have increased over time and the structure of the main event now contains upward 150 events triggered GUI, mainly buttons both autonomous and in custom controls.

  The performance of the application are no problem but I experience occasional freezes the application that freezes everything just the GUI and what I suspect most code running in the background. It is cleared by clicking anywhere on the front panel of the application and the same problem occurs in the development environment and in a bed .exe. To clarify, the application not falling down or stop, it all simply pauses or freezes and then resumes execution when the mouse click occurs. This happens randomly and at least a few minutes between.

  I'm currently trying to track down the problem but thought id ask here if someone has experience of first of all structures of the event which handles a large number of events, or perhaps seen the same freeze happen in their application?

  My question is how can I prevent an end of line, back being inserted when I wrap a word in an element, specifically an element 'indxflag '? I use structured FM 7.0.

  The screenshot shows 3 things here - part of my document in a window of FM (with the indexed word pointed out), the display of the structure of this document, as well as the definition of element indxflag in ESD.

  With the DTD I use, to create an index I wrap words in an indxflag element. My problem is whenever I do that it inserts a hard return (return of paragraph, press the Enter key, call it what you want). How can I prevent that (return) from happening because that obviously when I print to the PDF format (or paper) I'm starting paragraphs where I don't want them.

  Van, you could be right, I hope that Carl stops new and clarify. What I suspected, it is that it uses a sort of post processing with XML system for clues, don't use do not items to index in FrameMaker. I based on this statement:

  Certainly, without a plugin or a FrameScript, there's no way to optimize the structural markup to create an index of the image. It would be a powerful addition to PAO of the framework functions if an index can be built using markup. Someone has to write a plugin.

  In later versions, Oracle provides more detailed information for plsql via PL/scopeunits.
