JDeveloper 10.1.3 ADF Faces & BC: how to get the hostname of h

Hi all

How can I get the hostname of the server that your application is deployed via the request form?

I know that on a javax.servlet.ServletRequest class, the method is called getLocalName(). Is there a way to access this information in the am?

Thank you
Wes

Wes,

Something like that?

try {
        InetAddress addr = InetAddress.getLocalHost();

        // Get IP Address
        byte[] ipAddr = addr.getAddress();

        // Get hostname
        String hostname = addr.getHostName();
    } catch (UnknownHostException e) {
    }

  • [Table ADF Faces component] How to save the current state?

    Hello

    the ADF faces table component is great!
    You can drag-and - drop columns, sort columns...

    Now, we have an obligation to save the State of the table for subsequent sessions.
    The return of the user wants to get the same State as last time (order requirement or sort of column), even if he comes back a few days later.
    Is this possible?

    I discovered, that this information is stored in the session cookie. But this cookie is discarded in a few minutes...

    Any tips?

    fschulze,

    If you use 11 GR 1 material - you can read about MDS in chapters 33 and 34 of the Fusion for the ADF Developer's Guide - it does exactly what you ask... an update, don't know if it will save the sort order, but the documentation specifically mentions column reorganization as being recorded.

  • JDeveloper 10.1.3 ADF Faces & BC: how to refactor a data control?

    Hi all

    Don't know if anyone else has experienced this problem, but as our application is iteratively, we ran in the case of uses of "Dialogues LOV' being required for several modules of the application. According to my experience as a swing developer, we can easily refactor a class an arch 'common' package-specific module and reduce code redundency. However, due to the nature of JSF/ADF and the mashup of technoglogies, this isn't a process in a straight line forward multiple dependencies (pageDef, viewobject/am/faces-config xml files, etc...) Does anyone have any suggestions on how to better approach question?

    Thank you
    Wes

    Hi Wes,

    I can say that things in r10.1.3.x of refactoring-based ADF BC is going to be a little painful.

  • How to get the hostname of proxy OSB service

    I would like to get the hostname within a service proxy so that I can build a url replyTo generically.
    For example, I have a proxy service that publishes on an external web service that meets another proxy on the OSB service. I can code hard the host in the url for the replyTo, but when I install the OSB project on another platform, I would need to change the proxy service for the hostname of the new platform. I'd rather build the replyTo url using the host name of the installed platform so that when I left the thisHost to thatHost project, I don't have to do any additional configuration. So, is there a way to obtain the host name of the platform within a proxy service? Thank you.

    Here we did it with a Custom XPath returning System.getProperty ("weblogic. Name")
    a legend of Java can also be used, citing the same code.

    Alternatively, you can call JMX (look at the HyperCard methog here):
    http://www.javamonamour.org/2012/08/WebLogic-finding-health-state-through.html)
    but it's much more complicated.

  • How to get the selected row in a programmatic table of the ADF (table generated from a bean)

    Hi all

    We use JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 12.1.3.0.0 and deployed on GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3.1.2.2 (build 5) and connect to the SQLServer database.

    How to get the selected line in a programmatic (using a SortableModel custom not a display object) ADF table (generated from a bean)?

    We are trying to get the selected row in a bean of a programmatic ADF table to retrieve data based on the selected line.

    Any idea?

    Well, you can use selectionListener to set the selected line to a variable of bean (but this bean must be in extended view or some superiors)

    Something like this: http://www.awasthiashish.com/2015/07/get-selected-row-singlemultiple-from.html

  • How to get the values of the table of the ADF to bean class?

    Hi all

    My 11.1.1.6 Jdev

    Here I do not use BC ADF in my project.  I'll put values in the ADF table with bean.

    In the table, I put a checkbox. When I selected (Checkbox) a few rows in table and submit. In the submit method, I want to get all the values of line checkbox selected in my bean class.

    How can I get the values. ???

    Here my table UI code

    < af:table var = "row" rowBandingInterval = "0" id = "t1" value = "#{pageFlowScope.BinderSolutionsBean.uiBinderProperties} '"

    < af:outputText value = "#{row.status}" id = "ot6" / > "

    < / af:column >

    < / af:table >

    follow some above recommendation such as the creation of additional attribute. You will also need the key in your collection, while making the data for your chart.

    You must write a custom selectionListener. On valueChangeEvent of box, get the key of a line and add the line at the bean.

    The common technologies used to build web service applications is AXIS or CXF. What Jdeveloper technology allows built web service application?

    It depends on the option selected during the creation of web services (if I remember correctly, there are several options, style J2EE 1.4 RPC style JavaEE JAX - WS 1.5,...)

    For example, to get the ip address of the compatible with jax - ws web service, you need to inject the context in your service class with:

    @Resource
    WebServiceContext wsContext;

    and then inside your method:

    MessageContext mc = wsContext.getMessageContext();
    HttpServletRequest req = (HttpServletRequest)mc.get(MessageContext.SERVLET_REQUEST);
    String ip = req.getRemoteAddr();

  • How to get the value of varStatus in managed Bean

    Hi all

    I use jDeveloper 11.1.2.4 version.

    I had a table with table with departments view object. I added an extra column to the table to display the serial numbers of the lines like this.

    < af:table...

    varStatus = 'vs' rowSelection = "multiple" id = "t1" binding = "#{ReferenceBeans.departmentTable}"> "

    < af:column id = "c5" headerText = "varStatus" >

    < af:outputText value = "#{vs.index + 1}" id = "ot1" binding = "#{ReferenceBeans.varStatus}" / > "

    at the bean, I get all the values of the selected line, but I don't get the varStatus value of the column.

    If I use

    Object varStatus is getVarStatus () .getValue ();.

    System.out.println("varstatus::"+varStatus);

    That's the impression first value only, but not the values of the selected line.

    varStatus.jpg

    How to get the varStatus value in the bean selected lines.

    Best regards

    Claude Reynier.

    You can get the index of the line of the ViewObject.getRangeIndexOf (row) method. Something like this:

    empIter.getViewObject () .getRangeIndexOf (currentRow)

    example:

        RowKeySet selectedEmps = getTable().getSelectedRowKeys();
        Iterator selectedEmpIter = selectedEmps.iterator();
        DCBindingContainer bindings = (DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
        DCIteratorBinding empIter = bindings.findIteratorBinding("EmployeesView1Iterator");
        RowSetIterator empRSIter = empIter.getRowSetIterator();
        while (selectedEmpIter.hasNext())
        {
          Key key = (Key) ((List) selectedEmpIter.next()).get(0);
          Row currentRow = empRSIter.getRow(key);
          System.out.println("FirstName" + currentRow.getAttribute("FirstName") + "  - Row Index= " + (empIter.getViewObject().getRangeIndexOf(currentRow) + 1));
        }

  • How to get the message to debug all to running page request OFA?

    Hello

    How to get the message to debug all to running page request OFA? do not use JDeveloper

    Thank you

    Renon,

    this.writeDiagnostics will be work AM and not CO. You mentioned that your code is AM, which is why I give (this.writeDiagnostics).

    You get an error when you use what to ? AM

    in CO, you must use pageContext. writeDiagnostics();

    You don't need to put any profile (other than DNF: Diagnostics), you just need to go to the Diagnostics - select the log on screen and choose the level that you used in the writeDiagnostics method.

  • How to get the 6th element of a C.V. value column

    Hi all

    I use Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.7.131017.

    I have a column with the following formula: C.V. ("Tickets". "Number of tickets"), but since we want to only show the values advocated by the past 6 months and which is an accumulative column, we added the rank function in the filter and placed as: grade (C.V. ("Tickets". " Number of tickets')) < = 6 and for the final formula, we need the minimum value that is placed in 6th place...

    My problem is how to get the value assigned to this position?

    Here's the column values:

    30719 (value I pretend-> min)

    31357

    32025

    32595

    33652

    34616 (I also use this value-> max)

    Any idea on how to get the value placed on tier 6?

    Thanks for the help and have a good week.

    Kind regards

    Frederico.

    I found a solution (poor, but it works)...

    As a minimum I want is always located in the row = 6 I put a case when row = 6, then returns the value I'm pretending, else return 0, so after that I need only the max of all values, as they are 0 or the value that I'm pretending, like this:

    MAX (CASE WHEN (GRADE (C.V. ("Tickets". "Number of tickets')) = 6) THEN of C.V. (FILTER ("Tickets"." Number of tickets' using 'status '. ((("" Resolved "="Resolvido")) END ELSE 0)

    I want to thank you all for the help, normally I post in the forum of the ADF but its good to know I can get a lot of support here as well...

    Many thanks to all,

    Frederico.

    AdfCustomEvent.queue (event.getSource (),

    "mycustomserverEvent,"

    {param1:exceptiondata},

    (true);

    Returns true;

    }

    -OutputTextCase11.java

    public void handleServerEvent (EC ClientEvent)

    {

    String param = (String) ce.getParameters () .get ("param1");

    RichOutputText outputText = (RichOutputText) ce.getComponent () .findComponent ("ot1");

    outputText.setShortDesc (param);

    outputText.setValue (param);

  • How to get the values of page jspx (view layer) to the custom method defined in AM

    Hello

    I have 1 text field and 1 submit to homepage.jspx. When I click the button submit, it will call the custom method defined in the 'Module of the Application' java class (ApplicationModuleImpl.java). Can I know how to get the value of this text field in this custom method.

    I used the getter and setter method, however it didn't work as it is defining the value correctly, but get method returns null. Its not allowing to use FacesContext. Could someone please tell me how to get the value of the text field to this custom method (that is, using ADFContext,... something like that)

  • How to get the text have the same effect as the video?

    Hello

    For the first time post here, but I wonder how to get the text of the titles have the same effect as the video behind her.

    For my video, I use 'bad tv' and other effects such as Gaussian that obviously changes the appearance of video, creating the look of VHS. However, I then inserted text via the title, but it normally appears. How can I make this text have the same effects as the video behind it?

    A friend told me I might need to add text to the video first, then do the effects, I have not tried, but wonder if there is an easier way, as this would require me to restart.

    EDIT: That's what I'm looking for. https://youtu.be/7_2PHQI89dI?t=24s The text has the same effect as the video.

    Thank you

    One way is to create a clip made up based on the title and the original clip. Then apply the effect.

    Another way is to use an adjustment layer.

    Good luck.
