JDeveloper 12 (Studio Edition Version 12.1.3.0.0) and JSP tutorial

Hi all

I'm new to JDeveloper and at the moment I'm trying to follow the tutorial the "day 2 + Java Developer Guide 12 c Release 1.

I managed to create all things up to querying the data from a Java Application on page 4-7. The query shows the correct data.

But I'm stuck with the part where the JSP page is created.

I can create a JSP page used, jsp, but the Visual Editor missing the button style:

2 additional problems I have are:

In the section components for CSS there is no shown CSS:

and

When you drag a usebean to the Visual Editor and using the properties usebean No. appears.

Can someone please help. Is this a configuration problem?

Best regards

Snoesky

Well, the tutorial actually is more for the database of 12 c and uses Jdev 11.1.1.0 for developing the jsp page. JSP pages are not state of the art in 12 c. Here, you use jspx or better jsf pages. However, they are little different wworka. In other words, you cannot use this tutorial using Jdev 12 c. You can download a version of 11.1.1.x Jdev and try with this version.

Can you tell us what you're trying to learn? Other tutorials for 12 c are available.

  • I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe.

    original title: error with ehshell.exe

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe. Could you help me?

This problem exists since the 1st Media Center. SP2 and SP3 had a difficulty, but it is obvious that it doesn't always. The same problem still exists in Vista today with a lot of other carried over from XP. System restore would work, but you do not have any good restore points so reinstall an operating system seems to be your only option.

You probably don't want to do an OS reinstall you need for Media Center, but since it does not at all, you might want to play then remove the Media Center updates and or SP3 and reinstall them.

  • Application deployment Edition Version 11.1.1.2.0 JDevelopeStudio problem

Hello, we use JDeveloperStudio Edition Version 11.1.1.2.0 and facing a strange problem on some machines, when we try to run the application we get error as follows:

    [11: 00:11] # incomplete deployment. ####
    [11: 00:11] null
    # Cannot run application XBSystemMasters due to the deployment on IntegratedWebLogicServer error.

Only after the removal of our folder of the application of the < C:\Documents and Settings\nom_utilisateur\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.2.36.55.36\o.j2ee\drs > we are able to run the application for a time, once again, if we try to run it we get same above error message.

To run it again, we again delete the folder mentioned above by stopping the weblogic server then it works properly. Every time to run the application, to remove the folder.Complete uninstall/reinstall, and formatting of the system also does not work. The same application copied onto another system with the same configuration is to say Windows xp sp3 it's working there, but some machines give this problem.

Each time the stop the web server and delete the folder to test the code are very painful process.

Please let me know if I make any error during installation or configuring JDeveloper

    Thank you!!!

    Hi all

    need your help.

GR 11, 1 EPS and JDev Studio Edition 11.1.1.2.0 material using.

I transferred a blueprint in JDev, and it seems quite ok. Then I save the current model within JDev in BPA Server (using the small icon to the left to the "annotate BPEL process").

Must choose the target EPS database and I press 'Save', but then an error pops up:

This problem also appears if I try to compare the JDev version with the BPA (function: "Refresh in BPA Server"). If the question of the joints to be generic.

Any ideas what can be the reason? I use the English version of BPA and JDev...
    Thank you very much

Yes, please use the same version of JDev 11.1.1.1.0 until there is new version.

Will there be side effects to install windows xp service pack 3 update on my windows xp media center edition version 2002 service pack 2?

Done correctly, installation of SP3 will have as a side effect, a very beneficial: Extended Support for WinXP (x 86) SP2 ends July 13, 2010. After this date, computers that run Windows XP SP2 will NOT be offered additional security updates critical (x 86), automatic updates do not work, and Windows Update Web site is not accessible until SP3 is installed.

  • I am running Microsoft Windows XP Home edition Version 2002 Service pack 3, use the 32-bit or 64-bit upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium?

running Microsoft Windows XP Home edition Version 2002 Service pack 3, used the 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade?

I followed the instructions on the card that came with the software... indicating that, if I look at my computer it was telling me that my computer works... either 64 or 32, but it does not work.  So my question is, how do you know?

You probably have the 32-bit version of XP (in most individuals, and if your system properties page does not have 64-bit, then you have 32-bit.)

However, if you now have XP 32 - bit or 64-bit XP isn't the issue that relate to your decision to install 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7.  This decision depends on the question to know if your hardware can support a 64-bit operating system.  In this regard, the main reason for users to install a 64-bit operating system is to allow the use of more than 4 GB of RAM.  If your hardware does support more than 4 GB of RAM, there is no interest to install the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

You run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor?  With what results?

Click Start > run and type msinfo32 in the "Open" box and click OK.
After the system information window has had time fill, click Edit > select all, and then click Edit > copy.

  • I'm temporarily using a diesel powered computer, running Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3

I temporarily uses a computer filled with diesel fuel, until I can afford to replace it with an updated model. It is using Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3.
The problem is that it's totally out of memory and as far as I know, I deleted everything I can, short of service packs and security features, such as malware and anti virus.
I do a disk Clean up and Defrag on a regular basis, but it shows now that I have zero remaining memory.
Anyone know how I can free up more memory?
    What happens if I delete ServicePack 1 & 2?
What happens if I use the restore disc came with the computer? It will remove everything and I start with a clean slate?
Unfortunately I can't replace this computer for a few months more, what should I do?
    Thank you
    Monica

You run lack of disk space, not memory, if that's your hard drive, you're referring to :-)

If you have the service pack installation files on your PC, you can probably pick up near a GB removing them (most likely you do not have).
You can remove security updates uninstall files and pick up some space here: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13880_3-9862223-68.html
If there are programs that you use rarely or never, you can uninstall them.

If you use the recovery disk, it most probably restore you to the day; No program, no service pack, no update of safety, nada, just WinXP right out of the box. I wouldn't recommend, unless you have nothing better to do with your time than to reinstall all your stuff. And if this isn't in SP3, then you will not be able to download updates of security.

If you have a little cash on hand, you can always get a bigger hard drive and clone this player to the largest (most new hard drives come with software to do). Or if you have geek friends who save ALL their old stuff (like I do), maybe one of them would have a replacement part that they would be willing to give you. Wouldn't hurt to ask :-)

  • Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002) include SP1 is the Virtual Machine for Java (MSJVM) installed on this and future Service Packs Microsoft remove it?

While the installation of Microsoft DirectX 9.0 c on my Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002) operating system (not sure if the 2002 version in it's original state included SP1), EULA (EULA) provided the contract included a paragraph stating that "ONLY in regards to THE VIRTUAL MACHINE MICROSOFT FOR JAVA, YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED to INSTALL THIS OS COMPONENT ON A MACHINE THAT CONTAINS A ALREADY the VERSION OF THE MICROSOFT JAVA VIRTUAL MACHINE". Assuming that the MSJVM was included with Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002), I advanced and accepted the EULA. I then downloaded and installed Windows XP SP2 and SP3, but wasn't sure whether SP2 and SP3 removed the MSJVM in any point. However, research on the question, I discovered the site "FAQ of Transition MSJVM" (updated May 7, 2004), who answered the question: ' if I install Windows XP SP1a or later, it will remove my current MSJVM? " with "No, the operating system upgrade will not remove a MSJVM existing on the computer" (http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/en/us/interoperability/java/faq.aspx). However, I can't find any instance of it on my computer.

    So my questions are:

    1. Windows XP Home (Version 2002) Edition include SP1?
    2. The MSJVM is installed on this version?
    3. SP2 or SP3 removes the MSJVM in any point to?
