JDeveloper extensions on 11.1.2.3.0

I had extensions built in 11.1.1.6 and looks like all are broken in 11.1.2.3. counsel on how to fix it?

I get errors unsolved as for packages

Import oracle.ide.Context;
Import oracle.ide.Ide;
Import oracle.ide.config.IdeSettings;
Import oracle.ide.dialogs.MessageDialog;
Import oracle.ide.wizard.Wizard;

who looks good in 11.1.1.6

It was pretty much announced on problems of compatibility and even why (JDeveloper 11 GR 2 changed to use OSGI for more quick startup time and loading of the parts required for the request). So, in my opinion, it is not sad enough, that he is quite happy when the progress for the better.

  • JDeveloper Extension Project does not have a class of jar - java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

    I created a JDeveloper extension project, I need to see some external pots according to my condition. I added the jar to the project and I'm not facing problems at compile time. But when I run my extension, I get the following error:

    class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: < subject >

    .

    .

    Caused by: oracle.classloader.util.AnnotatedClassNotFoundException

    I tried the following options:

    1 added the pots to the project

    2. Add the jars as library

    3 referenced by MANIFEST pots. MF file

    But none of the above worked for me. The pots are getting delivered with my ExtensionProject.jar, but even when I add the extension for JDeveloper, it does not work.

    I am using JDev version 11.1.1.6

    Finally, this solved!

    The pots should be added as dependencies in the expansion project extension.xml file.

  • JDeveloper extensions for 11.1.2.4.0?

    Greetings,

    I use Jdeveloper v11.1.2.4.0 for awhile now and I noticed that Jdeveloper extensions are always not to update to this latest version.

    I am trying to install extensions of SOA and BPM. Is there at least the beta or any news for when they go out? been almost 2 (if not more) months now

    Since the release of this version... BTW Jdeveloper shows me the extension of soa in the jdeveloper Update Center, but the version is not supported for this version of jdeveloper. Please fix this

    The center of update/upgrade.

    Hello.

    JDeveloper 11 GR 2 (11.1.2.x) is an ADF version only. We do not provide stack complete middleware for this version, which explains why extensions are not available and will never be. To use WebCenter, SOA Suite and other Fusion Middleware technologies, your only option is JDeveloper 11 GR 1 (11.1.1.x) matter for the moment.

    Moreover, JDeveloper 12.1.2 12 c is in the same situation as GR 11, 2. Support for the complete stack will come in a future version of the series 12.1.x. And before ask you: no, I can't (unfortunately) provide details on the calendar for this version.

    HI ~
    I want to download JDeveloper Extension sdk for 9.0.4 version.
    Of course, I found a link for the download, but each of them that I found were not connected or connected with the 11g version.
    I also try to install the sdk called JDeveloper menu "Check for updates" in the Help menu. But it did not work in my pc (Windows 7 64-bit).

    I really need old version Extension sdk.

    How can I get the sdk?

    The only way I see is supported. Versions that old is not accessible via the web.

  • How to access a project using JDeveloper Extension libraries

    Hello

    I am working on a class for JDeveloper Extension loader. My scenario is:

    1. I created a new java using JDeveloper Extension file.
    2 based on setup of libraries in the project properties, COMPILE this new java file and load the current ContextClassLoader.
    3. use the class responsible for doing something else (generate a new artifact).

    Step 3 is unlikely to change, so what I have to do is to compile the new java file and load it into the ClassLoader. However, I can not get the list of libraries in the context of the project dependencies. When I look in the JDeveloper extension API, I found this example:

    Import oracle.jdeveloper.model.JProjectLibraries;
    Import oracle.jdeveloper.library.JDK;
    Import oracle.jdeveloper.library.JLibrary;

    Connect the adapter.
    JProjectLibraries projLibs = JProjectLibraries.getInstance (project);

    Download the project JDK.
    JDK jdk = projLibs.getJDK ();

    Get an array of libraries referenced by this project.
    Library [libs = projLibs.getLibraries ();

    However, I can not find oracle.jdeveloper.model.JProjectLibraries under JDevelop 11.1.2.0.0 (11 GR 2). The document is 11 GR 1 material. I don't know if this one is obsolete, or is it anyway to get the list of library to a project.

    I tried the following:

    JdevClassLocatorFactory jdevClassLocator = new JdevClassLocatorFactory();
    ProjectClassLocator projClassLocator = (ProjectClassLocator) jdevClassLocator.getProjectLocator (app, currentProject);
    projClassLocator.getLibrariesFor (currentProject);

    However, getLibrariesFor (Project) is a protected method, non-public method. Is there anyway that I can compile and load the java file newly created programmatically?

    Best regards

    Harry

    Harry,

    For the execution of a project class path, use oracle.jdeveloper.model.PathsConfiguration.getInstance (project) .getRunClassPath () which includes required to carry pots and .class files.

    People use a variety of tools of reporting with the ADF applications.

    For example, the open source Jasper reports.

    You can probably call Crystal reports from an ADF application.

    DJ,

    If you still use 11.1.1.5 (or any version of GR 11, 1 subject) place third party libraries in a directory of your project and refer to them through the classpath entry in the extension.xml file.

  • Modification of FirstSample JDeveloper extensions

    Hi people,

    I use JDEVADF_11.1.1.4.0_GENERIC_101227.1736.5923 build

    I installed the SDK of Extensions by clicking Help-> check the updates. I installed the sample extension applications. I am interested in the FirstSample project, which adds an element of menu under file. I looked at the code and when the click on this new menu item, it executes the method
    SimpleController.handleEvent(IdeAction action, Context context)
    The code inside this method of the sample is
        public boolean handleEvent(IdeAction action, Context context) {
            // This demonstrates how to programmatically invoke a gallery wizard.
            WizardManager.getInstance().getWizard(SimpleWizard.class).invoke(context);
            return true;
        }
    Because of this code, when I click on the menu item, I see a box as expected.

    Now, I want my custom code to run when you click on the new menu item. So I modified the code for this
        public boolean handleEvent(IdeAction action, Context context) {
            // This demonstrates how to programmatically invoke a gallery wizard.
            System.out.println("Custom extension invoked");
            //WizardManager.getInstance().getWizard(SimpleWizard.class).invoke(context);
            try {
              Runtime.getRuntime().exec("java path.to.my.class.MyClass");
              //MyClass.main(null);
            } catch (Exception ex) {
              System.out.println("Exception" + ex);
            }
            return true;
        }
    But nothing seems to happen. The dialog box no longer appears as the code that is commented. So it seems to choose this one but the System.out.println and call to my custom class does not seem to occur. No idea what's wrong?

    Thank you
    Vishal

    HI Vishal,

    This works very well for me. I use 11.1.1.5 de.4 instead, but that shouldn't make a difference. I've sent e-mails internal as well, with a request for some code examples so that I can try to reproduce it with your code instead of my own.

    I use the new Classname() method suggested by Arun, instead of the runtime call.

    One thing to note on the output System.out.println. This appears in the window of the IDE parent instance log if you test the extension using the 'Run the Extension' option. Maybe this is why you do not.

  • including the extension in jdeveloper with ADF Faces?

    Hello

    We have an application with ADF Faces components that must be migrated to OracleAS weblogic 11 g Server (10.3.5).

    We strive to upgrade the application under jdeveloper 11.1.1.5.0.  I have 3 questions.

    1. which the ADF jdeveloper extension should download us for this purpose?

    We already seem to have the extensions 'Fusion Web Applications (ADF)' and ' Applications Java Desktop (ADF) "."

    2. during the upgrade, we were given an option to upgrade the ADF Faces in Trinidad, when this option has been chosen, we got a "unexpected mistake."

    is it necessary to go to TRINIDAD to be able to deploy successfully on weblogic 10.3.5? If Yes, is the extension for Jdeveloper MAVEN?

    3. in weblogic server, I understand, we need the extension JRF to support the length of the ADF, is there anything else that we need on weblogic server that the adf works?

    Thank you in advance.

    If the origins of your application of jdev 10g and runs on the OAS, you can migrate to Trinidad. No extension is required for this as the required libraries are already there. Maven is useless and will not work for 11.1.1.5.0. First version with the full support of MAVEN is 12 c.

    If you get an unexpected error during the migration from the old app to 11 g, you should try to find out

    (1) projects that is causing the error

    (2) file that is causing the error

    and work from there. There are some configurations that cannot be migrated (check the release notes), however they should not lead to unexpected errors. However, check the release notes.

    If you don't find anything and cannot pass through the error, you must open a SR with support.oracle.com.

    Next question is why migrate to 11.1.1.5.0 which is already obsolete.

  • Extension for JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 portal

    Hello

    I'm new in JDeveloper and JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 version.
    I want to create the portal using JDeveloper. So I have to get my JDeveloper Extension portal.
    Is there support for the extension of the portal on this version of JDeveloper?
    How can I get this plugin for my JDeveloper and configure this extension on my JDeveloper?

    Thanks in advance.

    Murat

    If you create a new portal, using webcenter, not oracle portal because it is expected that oracle portal cannot be supported in 2014 or 2015. It is possible that portal oracle 11g will be the latest version. WebCenter is the future so if you start from scratch, webcenter is the best choice.

    You can create an environment of rich portal with webcenter. You need to develop depends on the requirements. Subsequently webcenter is ready to use collaborative portal named webcenter spaces. With webcenter spaces, you can create pages of pages when running, add portlets, customizations, personalization and so on. With webcenter spaces, you can also integrate many services. For example, the following webcenter ships with a license limited to the Complutense University of MADRID. UCM can be used to manage documents. Since your webcenter application or webcenter spaces you can download, remove, manage,... documents of the Complutense University of MADRID.

    With webcenter in JDeveloper extensions, you are able to build webcenter applications. These applications can act as a portal. This means that you can create your own application with the possibility to create pages when running and allow the user to customize their pages as well.

    If you can wait a few months (early 2011) until the new version of webcenter will appear, then it is much easier to create custom portals.
